Abstract
Description
【0001】

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the illumination panel and the display device according to the present invention, the back surface of the light guide plate has an arcuate cross section that gradually descends in the direction opposite to the exit surface side, and is on the entrance surface. Incident The light reflected by the exit surface A curved surface reflecting at a low angle along a plane parallel to the exit surface toward the side opposite to the entrance surface side; , An inclined surface that reflects the light reflected by the curved surface toward the exit surface; It is formed between the curved surface and the inclined surface, and the light incident from the incident surface side is repeatedly reflected from the exit surface, and at least a part of the light is reflected directly or by the curved surface. Moreover, for guiding to the exit surface side by the inclined surface Plane and And the curved surface is positioned on the incident surface side. Optical element provided Since it is a surface provided with a lot of, A part of the light guided by being incident on the incident surface of the light guide plate is directed along the parallel surface with respect to the surface parallel to the output surface toward the opposite side to the incident surface side of the curved surface of the optical element. By reflecting at a low angle and reflecting the reflected light toward the exit surface by the inclined surface of the same optical element, the result is that almost all of the light incident on the entrance surface is either The light can be reflected toward the exit surface by the inclined surface, and thus the light use efficiency can be improved.
