この発明は、指向性を有するマイクロホンを回転可能に支持した音声記録再生装置などの電子機器に関する。

【従来の技術】
機器の一部分を他の部分に対して一定範囲内で回転させることができる電子機器では、機器の一部分と他の部分との間の信号や電源の授受のための接続をいかに行うかが問題となる。

この点につき、特許文献1(特開2002−368440公報)には、図13に示すように、スピーカ104およびディスプレイ105が設けられる筐体101を、マイクロホン106およびキーパッド107が設けられる筐体102に、ヒンジ部103によって開閉可能に連結した折り畳み型の携帯電話端末で、図14(A)(B)に示すようなクランク状のフレキシブル基板1によって筐体101内の回路基板と筐体102内の回路基板を接続することが示されている。

具体的に、フレキシブル基板1は、コネクタ2aが設けられる接続部1a、帯状部1b、中間部1c、帯状部1d、およびコネクタ2eが設けられる接続部1eによって構成され、中間部1cを軸として帯状部1bおよび1dを巻回して、その巻回部(緩衝部)3を携帯電話端末のヒンジ部103の空洞内に収納し、コネクタ2aおよび2eを筐体101および102内の回路のコネクタに接続し、筐体101,102のフロントケースに対してリアカバーを装着してヒンジ部103の空洞を閉塞する。

これによって、図13の携帯電話端末では、筐体101を開いたときには、フレキシブル基板1の巻回部3が締められ、逆に筐体101を閉じたときには、フレキシブル基板1の巻回部3が弛むことによって、筐体101の開閉に伴うフレキシブル基板1の引っ張りや弛みが巻回部3で吸収される。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
特許文献1に示され、図13に示したような携帯電話端末のように、一方の筐体101をヒンジ部103によって他方の筐体102に連結する場合には、上述したように、クランク状のフレキシブル基板1の巻回部3をヒンジ部103の空洞内に収納し、カバーでヒンジ部103の空洞を閉塞することによって、フレキシブル基板1の巻回部3が外部に露出しないようにすることができる。

しかし、機器の一部分を他の部分に対して一定範囲内で回転させることができる電子機器として、図15(A)(B)に示すように、回路基板4が実装される装置本体5の、例えば上部に、回路基板6が実装される筒状の回転構造体7が配置される凹部を形成し、この凹部に回転構造体7を軸7a,7bによって回転可能に支持するものが考えられる。回転構造体7には、回路基板6と接続して、マイクロホンを内蔵し、または小型カメラを取り付けるなど、素子を設ける。

このような電子機器で、図14に示したようなフレキシブル基板1によって回転構造体7内の回路基板6を装置本体5内の回路基板4に接続しようとすると、上記の巻回部3を装置本体5の凹部上面と回転構造体7との間の隙間8から機器の外部に臨ませるか、装置本体5内に巻回部3を収納する部分を設ける必要がある。

しかしながら、巻回部3を機器の外部に臨ませる場合には、機器の体裁が悪くなるだけでなく、巻回部3が回転構造体7に設けられたマイクロホンや小型カメラなどの素子の邪魔になって、これら素子の機能を阻害する結果となる。また、装置本体5内に巻回部3を収納する部分を設ける場合には、装置本体5の大型化を来たす。

そこで、この発明は、指向性を有するマイクロホンが設けられた回転構造体を一定範囲内で回転させることができる電子機器において、機器の体裁やマイクロホンの機能を損ね、または機器の大型化を来たすことなく、しかもフレキシブル基板の絡まりや損傷切断などを生じることなく、回転構造体に設けられたマイクロホンと機器本体とを接続することができるようにしたものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
第1の発明の電子機器は、
一端に第1の支軸を有する第1の半筒体と、一端に第2の支軸を有する第2の半筒体とが一体化され、内部にフレキシブル基板が実装され、このフレキシブル基板と接続されて指向性を有するマイクロホンが設けられた回転構造体と、この回転構造体を一定範囲内で回転させることができるように支持した機器本体とを備え、
前記フレキシブル基板は、前記回転構造体の回転軸の方向に沿う第1のリード部、およびこの第1のリード部に対して垂直な方向に延長する第2のリード部を有し、前記第1のリード部が前記第1の支軸と前記第2の支軸との間に挟持され、前記第2のリード部が前記第1および第2の支軸の周面に1周以上巻回されて前記機器本体に接続された電子機器である。
第2の発明の電子機器は、
一端に第1の支軸を有する第1の半筒体と、一端に第2の支軸を有する第2の半筒体とが一体化され、内部にフレキシブル基板が実装され、このフレキシブル基板と接続されて指向性を有するマイクロホンおよび無指向性の2個のマイクロホンが設けられた回転構造体と、この回転構造体を一定範囲内で回転させることができるように支持した機器本体とを備え、
前記フレキシブル基板は、前記回転構造体の回転軸の方向に沿う第1のリード部、およびこの第1のリード部に対して垂直な方向に延長する第2のリード部を有し、前記第1のリード部が前記第1の支軸と前記第2の支軸との間に挟持され、前記第2のリード部が前記第1および第2の支軸の周面に1周以上巻回されて前記機器本体に接続された電子機器である。

上記のように構成した第1または第2の発明の電子機器では、機器本体の回転構造体を支持する部分内にフレキシブル基板のリード部を収納するので、機器の体裁が良くなり、回転構造体に設けられたマイクロホンの機能を阻害することがないとともに、リード部の収納部を最小化することができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
〔電子機器の一例としてのICレコーダの概略:図1〕
図1は、この発明の電子機器の一例としてのICレコーダの外観構成を示し、図1(A)は、後述の指向性マイクロホンの指向性方向をICレコーダ10の矢印9aで示す正面方向とした場合であり、図1(B)は、指向性マイクロホンの指向性方向をICレコーダ10の矢印9bで示す上方向とした場合である。以下では、矢印9aの方向を0度方向、矢印9bの方向を90度方向とする。

ICレコーダ10は、筐体としてフロントカバー11およびリアケース12を備え、上部にマイクロホン装置50が設けられる。

図2に、図1に示したマイクロホン装置50の一例を、各構成部品を分解した状態で示す。図示するように、マイクロホン装置50は、全体としてマイクロホン構造体60と支持ベース70によって構成され、マイクロホン構造体60は、指向性マイクロホン61C、左側マイクロホン61L、右側マイクロホン61R、フレキシブル基板62、フロントカバー63、ゴムクッション64、リアケース65、ビス67、板ばね68、およびビス69によって構成される。

図1〜図11に示して上述した例のICレコーダ10は、図12に示すように、CPU91を備え、そのバス92に、CPU91が実行する処理プログラムや各種の固定データが書き込まれたROM93、CPU91のワークエリアなどとして機能するRAM94、および内蔵メモリとしてのフラッシュメモリ95が接続される。
