全体が扁平形状に成る貯湯タンク(2)に、発熱本体部(13)と接続端子部(14)とから成る発熱体(7)と、水を補給する給水管(8)と、温水を排出する給湯管(9)と、を備えた貯湯式電気温水器(1)であって、
前記貯湯タンク(2)の側壁(4)それぞれに開口部(5)を開け、各開口部(5)に円板形状のフランジ(6)を着脱自在に取り付け、各フランジ(6)に給水管(8)、給湯管(9)を貫通するように取り付け、
一箇所の開口部(5)には、フランジ(6)に代えて、一側に鍔状の張出部(11)を形成し、他側に通孔(12)を開けた筒状部材(10)を、該通孔(12)側を前記貯湯タンク(2)内へ向けて取り付け、
該筒状部材(10)の通孔(12)に、前記発熱体(7)を、その発熱本体部(13)は、前記貯湯タンク(2)内に向けて貫通させ、該発熱体(7)の接続端子部(14)は、前記貯湯タンク(2)の側壁(4)面から突出しないように、該筒状部材(10)の空間内に取り付けた、ことを特徴とする貯湯式電気温水器の端子部保護構造。
