BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a non-diffusible fluorine-based grease composition in which oil in a grease does not ooze out or diffuse.
[0002]
[Prior art]
With the rapid performance improvement and miniaturization of precision instruments in recent years, the characteristics and quality superior to those of conventional grease are also used for the mechanical rotating parts and sliding parts of those instruments. Has come to be required.
[0003]
In other words, with regard to grease, there is a need for heat resistance and low-temperature properties that enable it to be used within a wider range, a request for longer life to realize maintenance-free, and further automation by computer control to lower torque. It has become a request for. As a result, the base oil component of lubricating oil has changed from mineral oil to synthetic oil, and the synthetic oil has been developed from α-olefin oil to silicone oil, and further to higher performance fluorine oil.
[0004]
As a prior art, for example, Japanese Patent Publication No. 4-46999 discloses a grease base oil diffusion inhibitor. The base oil diffusion inhibitor of the grease is a base oil diffusion inhibitor to be added to grease based on synthetic lubricant, and has a perfluorocarbon chain as a hydrophobic group and a hydroxyethylene group or a hydrophilic group. It is composed of a fluorosurfactant terminated with a phosphate ester.
[0005]
JP-A-4-224896 discloses a grease diffusion preventing method and a grease diffusion preventing agent. The grease diffusion prevention method is based on a grease diffusion inhibitor comprising 0.05 to 15 parts by weight of a fluorosurfactant and 99.5 to 85 parts by weight of water and a solvent dissolved in water. It comprises a first step for adhering to the surface of the material and a second step for drying the adhering diffusion inhibitor.
[0006]
Further, JP-A-5-78682 discloses a non-diffusing composition. The non-diffusion composition is characterized by containing at least 0.01% by mass or more of a fluorine-based silane compound in a lubricating oil or grease.
[0007]
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 8-176575 discloses a base oil diffusion inhibitor for grease. The base oil diffusion inhibitor of the grease is a base oil diffusion inhibitor for addition to a grease based on a synthetic lubricant, and has a perfluorocarbon chain as a hydrophobic group and polyoxyethylene as a hydrophilic group. It is characterized by comprising a fluorosurfactant.
[0008]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, if the base oil of the lubricating oil is changed to a synthetic oil as described above, a lower viscosity synthetic oil is used in order to meet the demands for maintaining the performance brought about by the difficulty of being greased, especially for lowering the torque. It has become an important technical issue how to suppress oil separation and separation.
[0009]
In other words, as precision equipment becomes smaller and more highly integrated, there are electrical contact parts near locations that require lubricant, lenses, resin parts, etc., and base oil separated from grease. Exuding or diffusing can cause serious problems such as contact failure, fogging of lenses, etc., contamination of resin parts, etc., and eventually stopping the performance of precision equipment itself. May occur.
[0010]
In order to prevent the above-mentioned problem phenomenon, there has been a strong demand for development of grease with less oil separation and less separation.
[0011]
In addition, the technologies disclosed in the above publications use synthetic oil as the base oil of the lubricating oil. Specifically, poly α-olefin oil, ethylene-α-olefin co-oligomer oil, silicon Oil, diester oil, etc. are used. However, none of these technologies use high-performance fluorine oil as the base oil for the lubricating oil.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The object of the present invention is to eliminate the oil separation and separation from the grease component, and to have a non-diffusible fluorine-based grease composition in which oil is present only in the portion used for lubrication and does not flow out to other portions. Is to provide.
[0013]
This invention uses a perfluoropolyether oil as a fluorine oil and a fluorine-based grease comprising said perfluoropolyether oil and a thickener, dimethyl silicone, silicone oil selected from methylphenyl shea Ricoh down oil 0. The present invention relates to a non-diffusible fluorine-based grease composition in which 1 to 50% is mixed and non-diffusibility is ensured so that oil does not flow out from the grease component in parts other than the part used for lubrication.
[00 14 ]
As the silicone oil, a silicone oil having a viscosity at 25 ° C. of 1 to 1000 mm 2 / S is used.
[00 15 ]
Furthermore, as the thickener, a material selected from fluororesin powder, silica, aluminum oxide, zinc oxide, boron nitride, and ameline is used.
[00 16 ]
Since this non-diffusible fluorine-based grease composition is configured as described above, it eliminates oil separation and fouling from the grease components, and oil is present only in the parts that are used for lubrication and flows out to other parts. It has excellent non-diffusibility.
[00 17 ]
In this non-diffusible fluorine-based grease composition, first, the base fluorine grease is selected from the group consisting of various fluororesin powders such as PTFE and FEP, silica and aluminum oxide as a thickener component. Alternatively, a mixture of two or more kinds, zinc oxide, boron nitride, ameline and the like are used.
[00 18 ]
Further, the base fluorine oil is a perfluoropolyether oil selected from the group consisting of compounds represented by the following general formula (1), (2) or (3). Further, two or more perfluoropolyether oils may be mixed and used.
General formula (1)
CF 3 - [(O-CF 2 -CF 2) m- (O-CF 2) n ] -O-CF 3
General formula (2)
CF 3 - [(O-CFCF 3 -CF 2) p- (O-CF 2) q ] -O-CF 3
General formula (3)
F- (CFCF 3 -CF 2 -O) r-CF 2 CF 3
[0019]
Silicone oils to be added to the fluorine grease composition are all referred to as silicone oils having a viscosity at 25 ° C. in the range of 1.0 to 1000 mm 2 / S, and among them, dimethyl silicone, methylphenyl silicone down oil and the like are particularly useful.
[00 20 ]
The non-diffusible fluorine-based grease composition according to the present invention is excellent in non-diffusion, and various additives such as an antioxidant and a metal deactivator can be added without impairing the performance.
[00 21 ]
The non-diffusible fluorine-based grease composition according to the present invention is produced by the following manufacturing method. First, the base fluorine oil is heated to 100 ± 10 ° C., then silicone oil is added and stirred well, and then a thickener component such as PTFE powder is added and dispersed well. Then, leave it until it reaches room temperature, and immediately adjust it on a three-stage roll.
[00 22 ]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The main component of the non-diffusible fluorine-based grease composition according to the present invention is composed of fluorine oil and silicone oil. These synthetic oils do not dissolve each other, but if one component is a grease composition, the thickener material acts as an emulsifier and is incorporated into the grease-like material. Considering the case where silicone oil is added to the fluorine grease, PTFE powder used as a thickener component of the fluorine grease serves as a medium, and the silicone oil is taken in and emulsified to become a somewhat hardened grease-like substance. How well the emulsified state is maintained is an important point of the non-diffusible fluorine grease composition of the present invention.
[00 23 ]
Another important point of the non-diffusible fluorine-based grease composition according to the present invention is a difference in surface tension. When fluorine oil and silicone oil have the same viscosity, silicone oil has a lower surface tension. Using this relationship, a small part of the silicone component is smeared on the grease surface from the mixed state, but the reverse action to keep emulsification works, and the further blurring of the silicone oil stops. . Some of the silicone oil that appears on the surface quickly adheres to the greased metal surface or plastic material, and serves to prevent the fluorine oil from flowing out later.
[00 24 ]
〔Example〕
Hereinafter, specific examples of the non-diffusible fluorine-based grease composition according to the present invention will be described.
In the non-diffusible fluorine-based grease composition according to the present invention, the base fluorine oil is heated to 100 ± 10 ° C., then the silicone oil is added and stirred well, and then PTFE powder as a thickener component is added. , Disperse well. Then, leave it until it reaches room temperature, and immediately adjust it on a three-stage roll.
[00 25 ]
As an example in which various silicone oils were added to a fluorine-based grease, a smear test was conducted on Examples 1 to 3 shown below, and the effect was confirmed. In Examples 1 to 3, PTFE was used as a thickener component, Fomblin M03 was used in Examples 1 and 2 as a fluorine oil, and Fomblin Y04 was used in Example 3. Furthermore, Example 1 tested the effect when 2% of KF96-20 (viscosity 20 Cp / 20 ° C.) was added as a silicone oil. Example 2 tested the effect of adding 2% KF96-100 (viscosity 100 Cp / 20 ° C.) as a silicone oil. Example 3 tested the effect when 2% of KF54 (viscosity 450 Cp / 20 ° C.) was added as a silicone oil.
[00 26 ]
Moreover, in order to compare the effect of this invention, the composition which does not add various silicone oils to a fluorine-type grease was produced as the comparative examples 1 and 2, and the blurring test was done similarly. The results are shown in Table 1.
[Table 1]
[00 27 ]
(1) Mixing penetration According to JIS K 2220 5.3.
(2) Degree of oil separation According to JIS K 2220 5.7.
(3) Blemish test A sample grease is applied to a resin film to a diameter of 3 mm and a thickness of 1 mm, and left in a thermostatic bath at 50 ° C. for 100 hours, and the spread of oil is observed.
[00 28 ]
Furthermore, as an example in which the amount of silicone oil added was increased, a blur test was conducted on Examples 4 to 7 to confirm the effect. In Examples 4 to 7, PTFE was used as the thickener component, Fomblin M03 was used as the fluorine oil, and KF96-20 was used as the silicone oil. The results are shown in Table 2.
[Table 2]
[00 29 ]
Example 4 shows the effect when 10% of KF96-20 (viscosity 20 Cp / 20 ° C.) is added as a silicone oil. Example 5 shows the effect when 20% of KF96-20 (viscosity 20 Cp / 20 ° C.) is added as a silicone oil. Example 6 shows the effect when 30% of KF96-20 (viscosity 20 Cp / 20 ° C.) is added as a silicone oil. Furthermore, Example 7 shows the effect when 50% of KF96-20 (viscosity 20 Cp / 20 ° C.) is added as a silicone oil.
[00 30 ]
As can be seen from Examples 1 to 7, when 2 to 50% of various silicone oils are mixed with fluorine-based grease, the oil component is removed from the grease component and the oil component is removed only in the portion used for lubrication. It is possible to obtain a non-diffusible composition that is present and does not flow out to other parts. In other words, even if a small amount (0.1%) of various silicone oils is mixed with fluorine-based grease, the initial effect can be obtained. It was found that can be secured.
[0031]
As for the silicone oil shown here, KF96-20 and KF96-100 are dimethyl type silicone oils, and KF54 is a methylphenyl silicone oil (product of Shin-Etsu Chemical Co., Ltd.). In addition, the fluorine oil shown here, that is, fluorine oil, is Fomblin M03 with viscosity (40 ° C); 17Cst, Fomblin Y04 with viscosity (40 ° C); 15Cst, the former being a straight-chain type and the latter being a side-chain type (Product made by AUSIMMONT SPR ).
[00 32 ]
【The invention's effect】
The non-diffusible fluorine-based grease composition according to the present invention has superior non-diffusibility characteristics with no lubrication of oil to portions other than the lubrication surface and good lubricity. Further, since this non-diffusible fluorine-based grease composition has the above-mentioned characteristics, it has a low detachment and an excellent fluorine grease composition in terms of oil separation can be obtained.
