Description

The present invention relates to a plate-like member connection structure and a plate-like member connection device, and more particularly to a connection structure and a connection device suitable for connecting a plurality of metal substrates which are constituent members of a gasket.

Conventionally, gaskets constructed by laminating a plurality of metal substrates are well known, and in such gaskets, each metal substrate is laminated, and after punching a required portion and pressing and crimping, the respective substrates are connected. A connecting structure is known (for example, Patent Document 1). This connecting structure is generally called “lance lock”.
The connecting device for forming the lance lock generally includes the following components. That is, as shown in FIGS. 17 to 18, a pair of left and right knives 51, 52 arranged at a predetermined interval on the lower side and a position between both knives 51, 52, and below the lower side. A support member 53 is provided, and a punch 54 is provided above the support member 53 so as to be movable up and down and pushed down between the knives 51 and 52.
Then, after placing the plurality of metal substrates 55 </ b> A to 55 </ b> C constituting the gasket 56 on both knives 51 and 52, the punch 54 is lowered. As a result, the connecting portion 57 projecting downward is cut out and an opening 58 is formed at the same time. Further, the bottom portion 57A of the connecting portion 57 is pressurized by the punch 54 and the support member 53 and is expanded in the width direction. The both sides of the portion 58 are engaged with the lower surface of the plate-like member 55C. As a result, the plurality of stacked substrates 55 </ b> A to 55 </ b> C are integrally connected by the connecting portion 57.
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 8-42969

By the way, in the conventional coupling device described above, the following drawbacks have been pointed out. That is, as shown in FIGS. 17 to 18, the connecting portion 57 is punched out so as to protrude downward by the punch 54 and the knives 51 and 52. At this time, as shown in FIGS. 19 and 20, the cutting line C <b> 1 that becomes the edge on both sides of the connecting portion 57 and the cutting line C <b> 2 on the edge on both sides of the opening portion 58 are positioned at the four corners of the connecting portion 57 ( Since it is continuous at both corners of the inclined portion 57B, there is a drawback that cracks 59 are formed at positions adjacent to the four corners of the connecting portion 57 (both corners of the inclined portion 57B). If such a crack occurs, the durability of the gasket will decrease.

In view of the above-described circumstances, the first invention described in claim 1 is a method of punching a plurality of laminated plate-like members from one surface side to the other surface side and cutting out the connecting portion protruding to the other surface side. An opening corresponding to the connecting portion is formed in the plate-like member, and the connecting portion includes a bottom portion protruding to the other surface side, and an inclined portion connecting the bottom portion and the original plate-like member, In the connection structure of the plate-like members that are configured to connect a plurality of plate-like members by this connection portion,
Both side portions of the inclined portion located between the cutting line of the connecting portion cut by the punching and the cutting line of the opening are not separated from each other by cutting, and the original plate-like member is It is designed to be connected to the original plate member by an extension portion formed by extending in the punching direction.
The second invention described in claim 3 includes a pair of left and right knives arranged on the lower side and a punch arranged to be raised and lowered on the upper side. At the same time as cutting out the connecting portion that is punched out by the punch and projecting downward, an opening corresponding to the connecting portion is formed. The connecting portion has a bottom protruding downward, the bottom and the original plate shape. In the plate-like member coupling device comprising a sloped portion that connects the members, and a plurality of plate-like members are coupled by this coupling portion,
When the chamfered portion having an arcuate cross section is formed at a position corresponding to the inclined portion in the knife and punch, and the plurality of plate-like members are punched out by the knife and the punch, and the connecting portion is cut out. The continuous portions in which the cutting line of the connecting portion and the cutting line of the opening formed by cutting are not separated from each other by cutting, and the original plate-like member is cut in the punching direction by the chamfered portion. They are connected to each other by extension parts formed by extension.

According to such a configuration, since the cutting line of the connecting portion and the cutting line of the opening portion are connected by the extending portion, it is possible to prevent the original plate-like member at a location adjacent to the connecting portion from cracking. can do. Therefore, it is possible to provide a plate-like member connection structure having higher durability than conventional ones.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described with reference to the illustrated embodiment. In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a connecting device 1 for connecting a plurality of stacked plate-like members. The connecting device 1 includes a plurality of plate-like members 3 </ b> A- 3C is integrally connected. As conventionally known, the gasket 2 is interposed between the cylinder head and the cylinder block and seals between them, and the description of the gasket 2 as a whole is omitted here.

As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the coupling device 1 of the present embodiment maintains a predetermined interval between a holder 6 as a support member attached to the fixed frame 5 upward and an upper portion of the holder 6. A pair of left and right knives 7 and 8 are provided, and a punch 12 is disposed above the holder 6 and lifted and lowered by a lifting means 11.
Both knives 7 and 8 are symmetrical and formed in the same shape, and are supported on the holder 6 at the same height, and between the knives 7 and 8, a support surface 6 </ b> A serving as the upper end of the holder 6. Is located. The support surface 6 </ b> A is kept horizontal, and the height is lower than the knives 7 and 8 by a predetermined dimension.

When connecting the plate-like members 3 </ b> A to 3 </ b> C by the connecting device 1, the plurality of plate-like members 3 </ b> A to 3 </ b> C are first placed on the knives 7 and 8, and then the punch 12 is lowered by the lifting / lowering means 11.
Then, the plate-like members 3A to 3C are punched out by the both sides in the longitudinal direction of the blade portion 12A provided in the lower portion of the punch 12 and the blade portions 7A and 8A of the pair of left and right knives 7 and 8, and the rectangular shape as a whole. At the same time as the connecting portion 4 is cut out, an opening 9 corresponding to the connecting portion 4 is formed. Further, since the elevating means 11 is continuously lowered by a predetermined amount, the connecting portion 4 that is in contact with the blade portion 12A of the punch 12 is lowered together with the blade portion 12A.
As shown in FIG. 2, the blade portion 12A of the punch 12 has a main body portion 12a that is horizontal on the center side in the longitudinal direction and two positions that are inclined at a predetermined angle and located on both ends in the longitudinal direction of the main body portion 12a. And the inclined portion 12b.
Therefore, as described above, the connecting portion 4 is continuously pushed downward by the main body portion 12a and the both inclined portions 12b of the blade portion 12A of the punch 12, so that the connecting portion 4 becomes the main body portion 12a of the blade portion 12A. And it is shape | molded by the valley shape which followed the shape of both the inclination parts 12b, and protrudes below.

As shown in FIG. 3 to FIG. 4, the connecting portion 4 is formed on the lowermost side bottom portion 4 </ b> A on the center side in the longitudinal direction, and at the adjacent positions on both ends in the longitudinal direction continuously from the bottom portion 4 </ b> A. It is formed by two inclined portions 4B.
The bottom portion 4A of the connecting portion 4 is compressed by the horizontal main body portion 12a of the punch 12 and the support surface 6A of the holder 6, whereby the bottom portion 4A is crimped so as to extend in the width direction.
Both the knives 7 and 8 are movable in the width direction of the connecting portion 4 on the holder 6, and as described above, both the knives 7 and 8 extend along the width direction of the main body 4 </ b> A of the connecting portion 4. 7 and 8 are translated in a direction perpendicular to the pressing direction so as to be separated from each other.
As a result, the both side portions 4A ′ of the bottom portion 4A are locked to the lower surface of the plate-like member 3C that is located adjacent to both sides of the opening 9, so that the plurality of plate-like members 3A to 3C are integrally connected. (See FIGS. 3 to 6).
Such a connecting structure is generally called “lance lock”.

The configuration of the coupling device 1 described above is not different from that conventionally known. Thus, in the present embodiment, the blade portions 7A and 8A of the knives 7 and 8 and the blade portion 12A of the punch 12 in the connecting device 1 are improved as will be described later, thereby forming a plate shape that is adjacent to the connecting portion 4. This prevents the members 3A to 3C from cracking.
7 to 15 show details of each component of the coupling device 1.
Here, first, the holder 6 to which the knives 7 and 8 are attached will be described. In FIGS. 1 and 7, the holder 6 includes a lower engaging portion 6B formed in a stepped cylindrical shape, and the engaging portion 6B. 6C is provided with a projecting portion 6C projecting in the diametrical direction on the upper end face. The width of the protruding portion 6C is set to be the same as or slightly wider than the width D1 of the opening 9 when the connecting portion 4A is formed, and the height of the protruding portion 6C is slightly smaller than the height of the knives 7 and 8. Set to a low dimension. The horizontal upper surface of the protruding portion 6C is the support surface 6A. And the upper end surface of the engaging portion 6B adjacent to both sides of the protruding portion 6C is a mounting surface 6D to which both knives 7 and 8 are attached.
Both the knives 7 and 8 are attached to the side surface of the projecting portion 6C after the lower surfaces of the knives 7 and 8 are engaged with the mounting surfaces 6D. In this way, when the knives 7 and 8 are attached to the holder 6, the knives 7 and 8 can be moved in parallel in a direction away from each other, that is, in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the protruding portion 6C.
As described above, the two knives 7 and 8 are mounted on the holder 6, and the engaging portion of the holder 6 in that state is fitted into the engaging hole of the fixed frame 5, so that the holder is placed at a predetermined position on the fixed frame 5. 6 and knives 7 and 8 are attached.

Next, since both knives 7 and 8 of the present embodiment are formed in the same shape, only the configuration of one knife 7 will be described, and the description of the other knife 8 will be omitted.
That is, as shown in FIGS. 9 to 11, the knife 7 is formed in a thick, generally rectangular shape, and the horizontal lower surface 7 </ b> B is placed on the mounting surface 6 </ b> D of the holder 6. The side surface 7 </ b> C is brought into contact with the side surface of the protruding portion 6 </ b> C of the holder 6 (see FIG. 7).
The knife 7 is provided with stepped through holes 7E perpendicular to both side surfaces 7C and 7D, and in the state where the lower surface 7B of the knife 7 is placed on the mounting surface 6D of the holder 6 as described above, A guide bolt is inserted through the through-hole 7E through a spring that biases the inner side surface 7C of the knife 7 toward the protrusion 6C of the holder 6, and then the tip of the bolt is inserted into the holder 6 The protrusion 6C is screwed. The other knife 8 is also connected to the protrusion 6C of the holder 6 in the same manner.
In the state before the punching process is started, the inner side surfaces 7C and 8C of the knives 7 and 8 are brought into contact with the side surfaces of the protruding portions 6C of the holder 6 by the springs attached to the guide bolts. When the plate-like members 3A to 3C are punched by 11, the two knives 7 and 8 are guided by the bolts and are parallel to each other as the bottom portion 4A of the connecting portion 4 extends in the width direction. It has been moved.
As described above, when the two knives 7 and 8 are connected to the holder 6 with the protruding portion 6C interposed therebetween, the horizontal upper surfaces 7F and 8F of the knives 7 and 8 are positioned above the support surface 6A of the holder 6 by a predetermined dimension. (See FIGS. 1 and 7).
In the present embodiment, the blade portion 7A is formed on the inner edge of the upper surface 7F of the knife 7. The blade portion 7A is formed on the center side in the longitudinal direction at the inner edge portion of the upper surface 7F, and the cross section is a right angle. The longitudinal dimension of the blade part 7A is set to the same dimension as the length of the bottom part 4A of the connecting part 4.

On the other hand, two locations adjacent to the blade portion 7A at the inner edge of the upper surface 7F are chamfered portions 7G and 7G which are chamfered in a circular arc shape in cross section. The longitudinal dimension of the chamfered portions 7G and 7G is set to the same length as the horizontal dimension of both inclined portions 4B and 4B in the connecting portion 4. Further, the outer edge portion of the upper surface 7F is a chamfered portion 7H in which the entire area in the longitudinal direction is chamfered in a cross-sectional arc shape.
As described above, in the present embodiment, the blade portion 7A of the knife 7 is formed only in the portion corresponding to the bottom portion 4A of the connecting portion 4, and the portion corresponding to the inclined portion 4B of the connecting portion 4 has an arcuate cross section. The chamfered portions 7G and 7G are used.
The other knife 8 is configured in the same manner as the knife 7, and as shown in FIGS. 1, 7, and 9, the blade portions 7A and 8A of both knives 7 and 8 are opposed to each other, and the chamfered portion is formed. Both knives 7 and 8 are attached to the holder 6 with 7G and 7G facing the chamfered portions 8G and 8G.

Further, in the present embodiment, the edge portions of both inclined portions 12b in the blade portion 12A of the punch 12 are also chamfered in a cross-sectional arc shape. As shown in FIGS. 12 to 15, the punch 12 includes a cylindrical small-diameter portion 12 </ b> B at the upper portion, a large-diameter positioning portion 12 </ b> C below the punch portion 12, and the blade portion 12 </ b> A at a lower end portion. It has. The small-diameter portion 12B is fitted into the engagement hole of the lifting / lowering means 11 and the flat portion 12C ′ formed on the positioning portion 12C is engaged with the positioning portion on the lifting / lowering means 11 side. The knife 7 can be positioned in a predetermined direction.
And the edge part of the both sides in both the inclination parts 12b of 12 A of blade parts is made into the chamfering part 12b 'chamfered by the cross-section circular arc shape. The chamfered portion 12b ′ is formed at a position corresponding to the chamfered portions 7G and 8G on the knives 7 and 8 side.
As described above, the knives 7 and 8 and the punch 12 of the present embodiment are formed by forming the chamfered portions 7G, 8G, and 12b ′ having an arcuate cross section at a position corresponding to the inclined portion 4B when the connecting portion 4 is formed. When the connecting device 1 is used to punch the connecting portion 4 from the plate-like members 3A to 3C, both side portions of the inclined portion 4B are not separated from the original plate-like members 3A to 3C.
On the other hand, the edge part of the main-body part 12a is formed in the cross-sectional right angle, and the plate-shaped members 3A-3C are made into a pair of parallel cutting lines by the main-body part 12a and the blade parts 7A and 8A of the knives 7 and 8. Thus, both side portions 4A ′ of the bottom portion 4A in the connecting portion 4 can be cut out.

With the connecting device 1 configured as described above, the punch 12 is lowered as described above with reference to FIG. 1 to form the connecting portion 4 and the opening 9 in the plurality of plate-like members 3A to 3C to connect the members.
That is, the plate-like members 3A to 3C at positions corresponding to the blade portions 7A and 8A of the knives 7 and 8 and the main body portion 12a of the blade portion 12A of the punch 12 are cut linearly, and two parallel cutting lines C1. As a result, the bottom 4A of the connecting portion 4 is formed, and the opening 9 is formed by two parallel cutting lines C2 (see FIGS. 5 to 6). At the same time, inclined portions 4B are formed at positions adjacent to the bottom portion 4A. However, the chamfered portions 7G, 8G, and 12b 'are arcuate in cross section, so that the portions become both sides of the inclined portion 4B. Is formed as an extended portion 13 that extends in the vertical direction without being cut only by extending downward. In other words, as shown in FIGS. 5 to 6, in this embodiment, the two cutting lines C <b> 1 serving as the edges on both sides of the connecting portion 4 and the both cutting lines C <b> 2 serving as the edges on both sides of the opening 9 are mutually connected. Consecutive continuous portions (both sides of the inclined portion 4B) are connected by the extending portion 13 without being cut off.
Therefore, when the connecting device 4 is formed and connected to the required portions of the plate-like members 3A to 3C by the connecting device 1, it becomes an adjacent portion of the corners of both inclined portions 4B (adjacent portions of the four corners of the connecting portion 4). It can prevent favorably that a crack arises in plate-like members 3A-3C (refer to Drawing 5). Therefore, according to the present embodiment, it is possible to provide a plate-shaped member connection structure and a connection device that have higher durability than conventional ones.
On the other hand, as described above, in the conventional connecting device shown in FIGS. 17 to 18, the connecting portion 57 and the opening portion 58 are separated by separating both sides of the inclined portion 57 </ b> B with the knives 51 and 52 and the punch 54. Since the cutting lines C1 and C2 are continuous at the four corner positions of the connecting portion 57, the crack 59 is generated at the adjacent portion of the corner portion of the inclined portion 57B (see FIGS. 19 and 20).
In the above-described embodiment, the two knives 7 and 8 provided on the holder 6 are configured to be translated in a direction away from each other on the holder 6. Also good. That is, as shown in FIG. 16, semicircular protrusions 7J and 8J are formed in the center of the lower surfaces of both knives 7 and 8, and the support shaft 20 is passed through these protrusions 7J and 8J so that the knife is inserted into the holder 6. 7 and 8 may be attached. With this configuration, both knives 7 and 8 can swing on the holder 6 with the support shaft 20 as the center, and the blade portions 7A and 8A of both knives 7 and 8 move in directions away from each other. can do.
Further, in the above-described embodiment, the case where the present invention is applied when connecting a plurality of plate-like members constituting the gasket has been described. However, the present invention is not limited to the case of connecting a plurality of laminated metal plates. The invention can be applied.
