Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a writing instrument cap. More specifically, the present invention relates to a cap that does not suffocate even if an infant accidentally swallows it (a so-called ventilation cap). In the present invention, “front” refers to the closed side of the cap, and “rear” refers to the opening side (pen nib insertion side) of the cap on the opposite side.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, an inner cylinder that is open at one end and closed at the other end is engaged with an outer cylinder that is open at both ends, and an air passage is formed between the outer surface of the inner cylinder and the inner surface of the outer cylinder. Examples of the cap include (a) Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 5-18879 and (b) Utility Model Registration No. 2595554. In the gazette (a), an annular concave portion provided on the outer surface of the inner cap (corresponding to the inner cylinder of the present application), an arc-shaped convex portion (inward convex of the present application) provided on the inner surface of the outer cap (corresponding to the outer cylinder of the present application). (B), the publication of the above (b) discloses a plurality of locking protrusions (outside of the present application) provided on the outer surface of the inner cap member (equivalent to the inner cylinder of the present application). A configuration is disclosed in which a projection corresponds to an annular protrusion provided on an inner surface of an outer cylinder member (corresponding to an outer cylinder of the present application).
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the cap (a), the gap between the arc-shaped convex portions may be reduced by engagement with the annular concave portion, and the cap (b) is provided between the plurality of locking protrusions. There is a possibility that the gap is reduced by engagement with the annular protrusion. That is, there is a possibility that neither of the caps (a) and (b) can secure a sufficiently large air passage for obtaining a sufficient air flow rate.
[0004]
Further, in order to ensure the sufficient size of the air passage, in the case of (a), the radial engagement between the arc-shaped convex portion and the annular concave portion is set small, or in the case of (b), Although it is conceivable to set a small engagement margin in the radial direction between the locking protrusion and the annular protrusion, in that case, the attachment strength of the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder may be reduced.
[0005]
The present invention solves the above-described conventional problems, and has a sufficiently large air passage between the outer surface of the inner cylinder and the inner surface of the outer cylinder without reducing the mounting strength of the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder. It is intended to provide a writing instrument cap that can secure the above.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
[1] In the present invention, the outer surface of the inner cylinder 3 with one end opened and the other end closed is engaged with the inner surface of the outer cylinder 2 with both ends opened, and the outer surface of the inner cylinder 3 and the outer cylinder A writing instrument cap 1 in which an air passage 6 is formed between the inner surface of the outer cylinder 2, and a plurality of inwardly convex portions 21 are arranged in a circumferential manner on the inner surface of the outer cylinder 2. In addition, a plurality of outer convex portions 31 are arranged in a circumferential manner, the inner convex portion 21 and the outer convex portion 31 are moved over and engaged with each other, and a gap 61 between the inner convex portions 21 is obtained. And the gap 62 between the outer convex portions 31 are communicated in the axial direction, and the air passage 6 is formed between the inner convex portions 21 and between the outer convex portions 31. Item 1) is a requirement.
[0007]
A plurality of inward convex portions 21 and a plurality of outward convex portions 31 are crossed and engaged with each other, and a gap 61 between the inner convex portions 21 and a gap 62 between the outer convex portions 31 are axially arranged. By communicating with each other, a sufficiently large air passage 6 can be formed between the inner convex portions 21 and between the outer convex portions 31. Further, since the sufficient air passage 6 is obtained, it is not necessary to reduce the radial engagement distance between the inward convex portion 21 and the outward convex portion 31, so that sufficient mounting strength can be obtained and the inner cylinder There is no possibility that 3 will wobble with respect to the outer cylinder 2 or drop off.
[0008]
[0009]
[0010]
[ 2 ] In the writing instrument cap 1 according to the first aspect of the present invention, in the inner surface of the outer cylinder 2 and the outer surface of the inner cylinder 3, a positioning engaging portion in the rotational direction comprising an engaging concave portion 22 and an engaging convex portion 32 is provided. (Claim 2 ) is preferable.
[0011]
When the engagement recess 22 and the engagement protrusion 32 are engaged, the inner protrusion 21 on the inner surface of the outer cylinder 2 and the outer protrusion 31 on the outer surface of the inner cylinder 3 get over in the front-rear direction. Immediately before the alignment, positioning in the rotational direction is performed. Therefore, the inward convex portion 21 and the outward convex portion 31 can be reliably overcome and engaged.
[0012]
[ 3 ] In the writing instrument cap 1 according to the first aspect of the present invention, a flange 36 that contacts the front end of the outer cylinder 2 is provided on the closed side of the inner cylinder 3, and the air passage 6 is provided in front of the flange 36. It is preferable that a notch 36a or a hole that can be opened is provided in the opening (Claim 3 ).
[0013]
Thereby, it is not necessary to provide a ventilation means such as a hole in the center of the closed portion 34 of the inner cylinder 3, the appearance is improved, and further, a ventilation means (notch 36a or hole) for opening the air passage 6 is provided. By providing not the outer cylinder 2 but the collar part 36 of the inner cylinder 3, there is no possibility that the mounting strength between the inner cylinder 3 and the outer cylinder 2 is lowered.
[0014]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
[0015]
One embodiment of the present invention is shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 show the engaged state of the outer cylinder 2 and the inner cylinder 3, FIG. 4 shows the outer cylinder 2, and FIGS. 5 to 7 show the inner cylinder 3. FIG. The writing instrument cap 1 of this embodiment includes an outer cylinder 2, an inner cylinder 3, a clip 4, and a pen tip seal member 5. Both ends of the outer cylinder 2 are opened. The inner cylinder 3 has a front end closed and a rear end opened, and is attached to the front end opening of the outer cylinder 2. The nib seal member 5 is made of an elastic material and is press-fitted and arranged in the inner cylinder 3. The clip 4 is attached to the outer surface of the outer cylinder 2.
[0016]
The outer cylinder 2 is a cylindrical body obtained by injection molding of synthetic resin. On the outer surface of the outer cylinder 2, a bulging portion 23 having a groove into which the base portion of the clip 4 is inserted and fixed is provided. The outer cylinder 2 includes a front end surface that is inclined so as to protrude forward from the bulging portion 23 side toward the opposite side of the bulging portion 23. An engagement recess 22 is formed in the inner surface of the front end opening opposite to the bulging portion 23 of the outer cylinder 2. The engaging recess 22 is opened forward in the axial direction and radially inward. Further, a plurality (specifically, four) of the inward convex portions 21 are circumferentially distributed at equal intervals on the inner peripheral surface of the outer cylinder 2 behind the engaging concave portion 22. The inward convex portion 21 includes a chamfered portion 21a having an inclined surface at the front end. The bulging portion 23 and the inward convex portion 21 are formed integrally with the outer cylinder 2.
[0017]
The inner cylinder 3 is a bottomed cylindrical body obtained by injection molding of synthetic resin. The inner cylinder 3 includes a closed portion 34 having an inclined front end surface, and a cylindrical tube portion 35 protruding rearward from the closed portion 34. The closing portion 34 and the cylindrical portion 35 are integrally connected.
[0018]
On the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion 35, a plurality (specifically, four) outward convex portions 31 are arranged in a distributed manner in a circumferential shape. The plurality of outward projections 31 are engaged with the plurality of inward projections 21 on the inner surface of the outer cylinder 2. The outward projection 31 includes an inclined chamfered portion 31a at the rear end. The chamfered portion 31a abuts on the chamfered portion 21a of the inwardly convex portion 21 at the time of overcoming engagement with the inwardly convex portion 21, and enables smooth overcoming engagement without being caught.
[0019]
When the outer convex portion 31 on the outer surface of the inner cylinder 3 is moved over and engaged with the inner convex portion 21 on the inner surface of the outer cylinder 2, the outer convex portion 31 of the inner cylinder 3 and the inner surface of the outer cylinder 2 are reduced in diameter. The inner convex portion 21 of the outer cylinder 2 and the outer surface of the inner cylinder 3 are pressed in the radial direction. Further, gaps 61 and 62 are formed between the inner convex portions 21 and between the outer convex portions 31 between the inner surface of the outer cylinder 2 and the outer surface of the inner cylinder 3. A gap 61 between the inner convex portions 21 and a gap 62 between the outer convex portions 31 communicate with each other in the axial direction, so that the gap between the outer surface of the inner cylinder 3 and the inner surface of the outer cylinder 2 is established. An axial air passage 6 is provided.
[0020]
The inward convex portion 21 and the outward convex portion 31 are set to the same number (that is, four each). Furthermore, the width dimension of the circumferential direction of the said inward convex part 21 and the said outward convex part 31 is set substantially equal. As a result, the cross-sectional silhouettes of the gap 61 between the inner convex portions 21 and the gap 62 between the outer convex portions 31 substantially coincide with each other. For this reason, the engagement force between the inward convex portion 21 and the outward convex portion 31 is further prevented from decreasing, and the reduction in the cross-sectional area of the air passage 6 at the connecting portion between the gap 61 and the gap 62 is suppressed.
[0021]
On the outer surface of the inner cylinder 3 between the outer convex portions 31, a concave portion 33 is formed in the axial direction deeper than the outer surface of the inner cylinder 3 before and after the outer convex portion 31. The concave portion 33 is set to have a length penetrating in the axial direction between at least the inner convex portions 21 and the outer convex portions 31 in an engaged state. Thereby, the cross-sectional area of the gap 61 between the inner convex portions 21 and the cross-sectional area of the gap 62 between the outer convex portions 31 (that is, the cross-sectional area of the air passage 6) can be set larger. In addition to the above, the concave portion 33 may be provided on the inner surface of the outer cylinder 2 between the inner convex portions 21.
[0022]
An engagement convex portion 32 that can be engaged with the engagement concave portion 22 on the inner surface of the outer cylinder 2 is formed at the base portion of the outer surface of the cylindrical portion 35 of the inner cylinder 3. The circumferential width dimension of the engaging convex portion 32 is set slightly smaller than the circumferential width dimension of the engaging concave portion 22. When the outer convex portion 31 on the outer surface of the inner cylinder 3 and the inner convex portion 22 on the inner surface of the outer cylinder 2 are engaged, the engaging convex portion 32 engages with the engaging concave portion 22, and the inner cylinder 3. And the outer cylinder 2 are positioned in the rotational direction. Thereby, the inward convex portion 21 and the outward convex portion 31 can be reliably crossed and engaged in the front-rear direction. In addition to the above, the engaging recess 22 may be provided on the inner surface of the inner cylinder 3 and the engaging protrusion 32 may be provided on the outer surface of the outer cylinder 2.
[0023]
On the outer periphery of the closing portion 34, a flange portion 36 protruding in the radial direction is formed in a circumferential shape. The flange 36 comes into contact with the inclined front end surface of the outer cylinder 2 after the outer convex part 31 on the outer surface of the inner cylinder 3 and the inner convex part 21 on the inner surface of the outer cylinder 2 are engaged. On the opposite side of the collar portion 36 to the clip, two notches 36a penetrating in the axial direction and opening outward in the radial direction are provided. The air passage 6 between the outer surface of the inner cylinder 3 and the inner surface of the outer cylinder 2 opens forward through the notch 36a. In addition to the cutout 36a, a hole may be provided in the flange 36 in the axial direction.
[0024]
The closed portion 34 of the inner cylinder 3 and the front end surface of the outer cylinder 2 may be surfaces perpendicular to the axis.
[0025]
【The invention's effect】
According to the first aspect, a sufficiently large air passage can be secured between the outer surface of the inner cylinder and the inner surface of the outer cylinder without reducing the mounting strength between the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder.
[0026]
[0027]
According to the second aspect , the outward convex portion and the inward convex portion can be reliably overcome and engaged.
[0028]
According to the third aspect , the appearance of the closed portion of the inner cylinder is improved, and the attachment strength between the inner cylinder and the outer cylinder is not reduced.
