【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、成形用金型に組み込まれ、品質管理やロット管理のための例えば日付けやロット番号等のマークを成形時に刻印する成形金型の刻印装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
金型を用いて製造される各種成形品は、金型に組み込まれたマーカにより年月日の日付けやロット番号等の刻印が表面になされ、成形品の品質管理やロット管理が行われるようになっている。

特に、近年では、成形品の品質保証の管理が日々細かくなっている状態であり、成形品の製品管理上、マーカによる管理が必要不可欠となっている。

従来のマーカとしては、金型内側の座ぐり穴に圧入して埋め込まれるタイプのもの、金型のキャビティに露出する面に所定のマークが刻み込まれたエジェクターピンを利用したタイプのもの等が知られている。

図7〜図9は従来のマーカの一例を示す図であり、図7はマーカを一端面側から見た斜視図、図8はマーカを金型に組み込んだ状態を示す断面図、図9はマーカの表示を変更するときの状態を示す図である。

図7に示すように、マーカ81は、円柱状の内側部材82と、両端面が内側部材82と面一をなし、内側部材82が回転可能に取り付けられる筒状の外側部材83とからなる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上述した従来のマーカ81では、日付けの変更が生じると、その都度金型87を開いて分解し、内側部材82のマーク85である矢印の先端と外側部材83のマーク86である「0〜3」との位置関係を確認しながらマイナスドライバー等の工具88を用いて調整を行う必要があった。このため、調整作業に手間を要し、全体作業に時間がかかるという問題があった。特に、マーカ81が金型87の外から見えない位置にある場合には、成形機より金型87を一旦取り外し、マーカ81の表示調整後、再び金型87を成形機に取り付けなければならず、更に作業を煩雑化させていた。

また、成形品に刻印されるマークが日付けの日を表示する場合、その表面には32等分した目盛りと日を示す数字の逆文字(例えば1,5,10,15,20の逆文字)が刻み込まれ、目盛りも小さく字も反転しているので、場所によってはかなり合わせずらいという問題があった。

上記目的を達成するため、請求項1の発明は、キャビティを有する固定側型板と、コアを有し前記固定側型板に対して相対的に移動可能とされた可動側型板とを有する成形金型に用いられる刻印装置において、
マークが施された一端面が前記キャビティに露出して前記可動側型板に固設される筒状の外側固定部材と、マークが施された一端面が前記キャビティに露出して前記外側固定部材に対して回転可能に設けられる内側可動部材とを有し、前記マークによる刻印を成形品に施すためのマーカ部と、
前記外側固定部材の前記マークに対応した指標が施されて前記成形金型の外に面して設けられた表示プレートと、前記マーカ部による表示の変更時に前記外側固定部材のマークに対する前記内側可動部材のマークの位置に対応する前記表示プレートの指標を指し示すように前記成形金型の外から回転操作される操作部とを有し、前記成形金型の可動側に設けられる表示部と、
前記内側可動部材と前記操作部との間に固定され、前記操作部による回転操作量を前記内側可動部材に伝達する可撓性を有する連結部材とを備えたことを特徴とする。

まず、図1を参照しながら各実施の形態の刻印装置が採用される成形用金型の全体構成について説明する。

図1に示すように、成形用金型(以下、金型と略称する)1は、成形機の固定側ホルダに取り付けられる固定側取付板2と、成形機の可動側ホルダに取り付けられる可動側取付板3を有している。

固定側取付板2は、雌型であるキャビティ4aを有する固定側型板4が取り付けられている。可動側取付板3には、雄型となるコア5aを有する可動側型板5が、受け板6とスペーサブロック7を介して取り付けられている。
