本発明は、マッサージ器に関する発明である。

【従来の技術】
従来から、マッサージ器には図１５に示すようなものがある。このマッサージ器は、施療面１ａに載せた身体をマッサージする１対の施療突起３を本体部１の上方に突設し、この本体部１の内部に上記施療突起３を稼動させる機構部４を内装し、施療突起３を含めた本体部１を外からカバー１５で包み込んで構成されており、施療突起３上のカバー１５の外面が施療面１ａとなり、この施療面１ａに身体を載せてカバー１５を介して駆動する施療突起３を身体の適所に当てて身体にマッサージを施すように使用されるものである（たとえば、特許文献１参照）。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記マッサージ器では、たとえばマッサージ停止中であっても、その施療面１ａに座ったりすると施療突起３が身体の臀部などに食い込んだりして座り心地が悪かったりして適当ではなく、つまり上記マッサージ器はマッサージ以外の用途には使用できるものではなく、マッサージを行わない停止中には無用の長物となる。したがって、このマッサージ器は、大抵押し入れなどの建物の収納箇所に収納されるのが常であって、使用するときに収納箇所から取り出してきて使用されるのが一般的である。

ところで、近年では健康に対する意識が高まり、マッサージ器は家庭にも普及するようになってきている。しかしながら、上記マッサージ器は、上述したように、マッサージを行おうとしたときには収納箇所からまずマッサージ器を取り出してくるのが一般的であり、その面倒臭さからマッサージを我慢してしまうこともあることが指摘されており、また、ふとした瞬間、手軽にマッサージを行えるように、マッサージ器を収納箇所に仕舞わずに居間などに置いておくと、使用時以外には無用のマッサージ器が居間に置いてあることで居間が煩雑となってしまうといったことが指摘されている。つまり、マッサージ器を家庭に導入したユーザは、実際には手軽にマッサージを行うことができないでいるのが現状であり、この点でユーザーの満足感を充足させられていないのであった。

本発明は上記の点に鑑みてなされたものであり、手軽な使用性を確保できるマッサージ器を提供することを課題とするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するために本発明に係るマッサージ器は、施療突起３を動かす機構部４を備えて該機構部４によって動く上記施療突起３にて施療面１ａに載せた身体をマッサージする本体部１と、本体部１の施療面１ａを覆うクッション性を備えたカバー体２とからなると共に、本体部１とこの本体部１の施療面１ａを覆ったカバー体２とでクッション形状をなすマッサージ器であり、本体部１の施療面１ａに対向するカバー体２の対向面２ａの外縁形状と本体部１の施療面１ａの外縁形状とを略同形に形成し、両外縁部分に着脱自在に接続する接続手段１２を備えており、上記カバー体２は本体部１の施療面１ａから外して施療面１ａを露出させることができるものであることを特徴とする。これによると、このマッサージ器は、マッサージ時にはカバー体２を本体部１の施療面１ａから外して露出させた本体部１の施療面１ａに身体を載せてマッサージを施すことができ、また、マッサージ時以外には本体部１の施療面１ａを覆ったカバー体２がクッションとして機能することから、いわゆるクッションとして使用できるのであり、つまり、このマッサージ器は、通常は居間などにクッションとして置いておき、マッサージ時にのみマッサージ機能を働かせるようにできることから、居間などを煩雑にせずに手軽にマッサージを行うことができる。しかも本体部１にカバー体２を被せるように本体部１にカバー体２を装着した際には両者の一体感の向上や形状の安定化が図られ、見た目をクッションに似せて外観を向上させることができると共に、持ち運び易くでき、また本体部１からカバー体２を取り外した際にはマッサージ時にカバー体２をマッサージを施す身体を支える部位に自由に合わせ、このカバー体２に該身体を支える部位を載せるようにしてマッサージを行うことができ、ユーザーに快適な状態でのマッサージを施すようにできる。

また、本体部１はその施療面１ａにおける施療突起３の配置部以外のところにクッション性を備えたことも好ましい。これによると本体部１の施療面１ａに身体を載せた際には身体に合わせて施療面１ａが沈み込み、身体のマッサージを施したい部位に確実に施療突起３を当てることができ、該身体の部位に効果的で強いマッサージを施すことができるのである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明を添付図面に示す実施形態に基づいて説明する。

図１乃至図８に本発明の実施の形態の例を示す。このマッサージ器は、施療面１ａに載せた身体をマッサージする施療突起３を備えると共に上記施療突起３を稼動させる機構部４を備える本体部１と、本体部１の施療面１ａを覆うクッション性を備えたカバー体２とで構成されるもので、本体部１の下面を直接床面に置き、床にしゃがんだり寝そべったりした状態でユーザーに使用される床置きタイプのマッサージ器である。詳しくは、本例の本体部１は矩形ブロック状の外形に形成され、その上面がマッサージを施す身体の部位を載せる施療面１ａを構成しており、カバー体２はその内部にウレタンなどのクッション材が充填されたクッション体で構成されている。そして、このカバー体２は本体部１の側縁部分における幅方向中央部分に連結されている。なお、上記幅方向とは、図１矢印Ａ方向であって後述する１対の施療突起３の並設方向と同方向を言う。

本体部１の上部には施療面１ａに載せた身体をマッサージする１対の施療突起３が間隔を有して並べて設けられている。具体的に一対の施療突起３は施療面１ａの幅方向の両端側よりの位置に設けられており、マッサージを行う身体の部位を施療面１ａの幅方向中央部位に載せるだけで、該身体の部位を一対の施療突起３の間に位置させ、該身体の部位にその両側から一対の施療突起３が挟み込むようにマッサージを施し得るようにされている（図１３参照）。

上記施療突起３は本体部１の内部に内装された機構部４により稼動されるのであるが、この機構部４としては、たとえば図４（ａ）に示すように、エアーポンプ６の吸排気によって施療突起３の下部に取付けたエアバック７を膨縮させて施療突起３を作動させるようにしたもの、また図４（ｂ）に示すように、モータ８の回転軸に取付けた偏心カム９にて施療突起３を作動させるようにしたものなどが適宜採用される。前者にはエアーポンプ６の吸排気にて施療突起３の正確な制御が行える利点があり、後者には機械的に施療突起３を制御できて高出力に施療突起３を作動できる利点がある。

このように構成されたマッサージ器は、マッサージ時には図５に示すようにカバー体２を本体部１の施療面１ａから外して露出させた本体部１の施療面１ａに身体を載せてマッサージを施すことができるものであり、マッサージ時以外には図６に示すように本体部１の施療面１ａをカバー体２で覆い、このカバー体２をいわゆるクッションとして使用できるものである。しかして、このマッサージ器は、通常は居間などにクッションとして置いておき、マッサージ時にのみマッサージ機能を働かせるようにできることから、居間などを煩雑にしないでふとした瞬間にきわめて手軽にマッサージを行うことができるのである。つまり、このマッサージ器は、従来のマッサージ専用器のようにマッサージ時以外の通常時は使用価値がなくて建物の押し入れなどの収納箇所に仕舞われるといったことはなく、通常時ではクッションとしての使用価値があるためユーザーに煩雑な思いを抱かせることなく居間などに置いておくことができ、しかして、マッサージ時にわざわざ収納箇所から取り出してくる代わりに居間に置かれたマッサージ器を引き寄せるだけですぐにマッサージを行い得る状態にできるのであって、家庭用のマッサージ器に求められていた手軽なマッサージ機能を大幅に向上させることができたものである。

また、本例のマッサージ器では、施療突起３や機構部４の配置部位以外を構成する本体部１の内部部位に、図３に示すように、ウレタンなどのクッション材１６を充填させており、これによってもマッサージ器の使用性を向上させている。つまり、本体部１の施療面１ａに身体を載せた際には身体に合わせて施療面１ａが沈み込み、身体のマッサージを施したい部位に確実に施療突起３を当てることができるのであり、該身体の部位に効果的で強いマッサージを施し得るようにされているのである。

また、本例のマッサージ器では、施療突起３は機構部４によって上方に盛上ったり左右に振れたりするように稼動されるのであるが、稼動を停止した都度、本体部１の幅方向両端よりの所定位置に戻るように設定されている。つまり、施療突起３の停止位置が常に稼動を開始する初期位置になるように設定されている（図１２参照）。しかして、マッサージを行うにあたって常に、首や肩など身体のマッサージを施したい部位を本体部１の施療面１ａの幅方向中央部位に載せるだけで、該身体の部位を施療突起３の間に簡単に位置させて適切なマッサージを施すことができるのであり、これによってマッサージ器の使用性が向上しているのである。なお、本例では、施療突起３の停止位置は、具体的に、施療面１ａに載せた身体の両肩に対応する位置に設定され、肩にマッサージを施す場合に施療突起３の停止位置に合わせて施療面１ａに肩を載せれば、肩に適切なマッサージが確実に施されるようにされている（図１３参照）。

なお、本例のマッサージ器は、カバー体２と本体部１との一部を連結させているので、本体部１の施療面１ａからカバー体２を外してマッサージを行った際に、カバー体２が本体部１から外れて紛失しないといった利点や、マッサージを行う都度にカバー体２を取り外したり着け直したりする面倒な動作を行わずに済むといった利点を有すると共に、たとえば肩や首を本体部１の施療面１ａに載せてマッサージする際に頭部や背中部をカバー体２に載せる使用形態、腰を本体部１の施療面１ａに載せてマッサージする際に臀部や脚部をカバー体２に載せる使用形態など、マッサージを施す身体の部位と身体を支える部位とが近接するような使用形態の場合に本体部１とカバー体２とを最適な位置に簡単にセットすることができるといった利点が備わるようにされている。なお、図７，８に示すように、本体部１とカバー体２とを取外し自在にしてもマッサージ器の使用性の向上を図ることができる。ここで図７のものは、施療面１ａの適所の複数箇所、及び施療面１ａに被せたカバー体２における該複数箇所の対向部位にそれぞれ面ファスナー１０を貼着し、対向する面ファスナー１０同士を脱着することで本体部１とカバー体２とを取外し自在にしたものであり、図８のものは、カバー体２を本体部１に被せた際にカバー体２の周縁部分を本体部１の施療面１ａの外縁から垂下する周縁面１ｂに被せるようにし、このカバー体２の周縁部分に亙って有端状のひも１１を通し、このひも１１を本体部１の周縁面１ｂに締め付けたり緩めたりすることで本体部１とカバー体２とを取外し自在にしたものである。なお、図示はしないが、上記ひも１１に代えて長さ方向に伸縮する無端状のゴムひもを設けてもよい。つまり、このように本体部１とカバー体２とを取外し自在にしたマッサージ器では、上記本体部１とカバー体２との一部を連結させたマッサージ器が有する利点は得られないものの、マッサージ時に本体部１から取外したカバー体２をマッサージ時に身体を支える適宜の部位の下に自由に敷くことができるようになり、快適な状態でユーザーにマッサージを施すようにできる利点がある。

図９乃至図１４に本発明の実施の形態の他例を示す。この例は、先の実施の形態の例のマッサージ器と外形形状等は異なるものの、大略同様の構成を有している。しかして、先の実施の形態の例と同様部位には同符合を付して説明を省き、異なる部分につき説明していく。

本例のマッサージ器は、本体部１及びカバー体２の外径形状がそれぞれ扁平な円柱ブロック状に形成されており、本体部１の施療面１ａにカバー体２を被せたときに該施療面１ａに対向するカバー体２の対向面２ａが、該施療面１ａとぴったり重なるように施療面１ａの外縁形状と該対向面２ａの外縁形状とが略同形状に形成され、連結部５以外の両外縁部分を着脱自在に接続する接続手段１２が設けられて構成されている。ここで、接続手段１２としては、本例では開閉自在なファスナー１３がこれを構成している。しかして、本例のマッサージ器は、図１０に示すように、ファスナー１３を閉じて本体部１にカバー体２を装着した際には、両者の一体感の向上や形状の安定化が図られ、見た目をクッションに似せて外観が向上していると共に、持ち運び易くされているのである。

また、本例のマッサージ器では、本体部１及びカバー体２の外縁部分の所定の一部に、本体部１とカバー体２とが連結される連結部５が適宜設けられるようにされている。ここで、ファスナー１３は、始端から終端にスライダ１３ａを摺動させることで本体部１とカバー体２とを締結させるように閉じ、終端から始端にスライダ１３ａを摺動させることで本体部１とカバー体２とを脱離させるよう開くものである。つまり、上記連結部５は、ファスナー１３を開く際に終端から始端までを完全に開かず、始端から一定距離までの部位を閉じた状態に残しておくことで形成される部位である。そして、この連結部５は本体部１及びカバー体２の外縁部分の所定の一部に設けられるのであるが、これは図１１に示すように、ファスナー１３のスライダ１３ａの摺動を一旦止め得るストッパ１４をファスナー１３の始端から一定距離の位置に設けたことで可能ならしめている。詳しくは、このストッパ１４は、本体部１の外縁から突出し、その突出先端がファスナー１３を跨いでカバー体２の外縁に位置されるようなビニル製の弾性板材であり、ファスナー１３を開くように摺動したスライダ１３ａがストッパ１４のファスナー１３をまたぐ部位に当たることで、ストッパ１４から始端までの部位のファスナー１３を閉じた状態に残すことができるのである。なお、ストッパ１４に当ったスライダ１３ａをストッパ１４の弾性に抗ってむりやり摺動させると、ストッパ１４が外方にめくれるように弾性変形をし（矢印Ｂ）、スライダ１３ａが始端まで摺動されてファスナー１３を完全に開くことができるようになっている。

このように、スライダ１３ａの摺動を一旦止め得るストッパ１４をファスナー１３の始端から一定距離の位置に設けるといった簡単な構成で、一定位置に一定幅の連結部５を適宜容易に形成させることができるようになっている。連結部５が一定位置で一定幅に形成されることで、形成した連結部５の位置や強度を常時一定の状態に保つことができると共に、マッサージ時の本体部１とカバー体２との位置関係を普遍のものとでき、つまりマッサージ時に適した位置に本体部１とカバー体２とを簡単にセットさせることが可能になり、マッサージ器の使用性を更に向上させることができるのである。更に言うと連結部５が一定位置で一定幅に形成される他の効果としては、任意位置でカバー体２と本体部１とが連結された際に起こり得る何らかの拍子にカバー体２が作動する施療突起３に巻き込まれたりする事態を未然に防ぐことができる、つまりマッサージ器の安全面での効果も向上できるのである。なお、本例の連結部５は、先の例のカバー体２と本体部１との連結部位同様、本体部１の側縁部分における幅方向中央部分に位置して設けられている。また、このストッパ１４によると連結部５を適宜設けたり設けないようにできるので、マッサージ時に、カバー体２と本体部１とを連結した状態で使用したい場合、カバー体２を本体部１から取り外した状態で使用したい場合の各場合に、即座にマッサージ器を対応させることができ、これによってもマッサージ器の使用性の向上が図られているのである。

【発明の効果】
上記のように本発明の請求項１記載の発明にあっては、施療突起を動かす機構部を備えて該機構部によって動く上記施療突起にて施療面に載せた身体をマッサージする本体部と、本体部の施療面を覆うクッション性を備えたカバー体とからなると共に、本体部とこの本体部の施療面を覆ったカバー体とでクッション形状をなすマッサージ器であり、上記カバー体は本体部の施療面から外して施療面を露出させることができるものであるので、このマッサージ器は、マッサージ時にはカバー体を本体部の施療面から外して露出させた本体部の施療面に身体を載せてマッサージを施すことができ、また、マッサージ時以外には本体部の施療面を覆ったカバー体がクッションとして機能することから、いわゆるクッションとして使用できるのであり、つまり、このマッサージ器は、通常は居間などにクッションとして置いておき、マッサージ時にのみマッサージ機能を働かせるようにできることから、居間などを煩雑にせずにきわめて手軽にマッサージを行うことができるのである。しかも本体部の施療面に対向するカバー体の対向面の外縁形状と本体部の施療面の外縁形状とを略同形に形成し、両外縁部分に着脱自在に接続する接続手段を設けたので、本体部にカバー体を被せるように本体部にカバー体を装着した際には両者の一体感の向上や形状の安定化が図られ、見た目をクッションに似せて外観を向上させることができると共に持ち運び易くでき、また本体部からカバー体を取り外した際にはマッサージ時にカバー体をマッサージを施す身体を支える部位に自由に合わせ、このカバー体に該身体を支える部位を載せるようにしてマッサージを行うことができ、ユーザーに快適な状態でのマッサージを施すようにできるのであり、マッサージ器の使用性を向上できるのである。

また、請求項２記載の発明にあっては、請求項１の効果に加え、本体部はその施療面における施療突起の配置部以外のところにクッション性を備えたので、本体部の施療面に身体を載せた際には身体に合わせて施療面が沈み込み、身体のマッサージを施したい部位に確実に施療突起を当てることができ、該身体の部位に効果的で強いマッサージを施すことができるのであり、マッサージ器の使用性を向上できるのである。
