【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、携帯型電話装置に関するもので、特に、地上波テレビ放送やラジオ放送などの放送を受信する放送受信機能を備えた携帯型電話装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
近年、携帯型電話装置の需要が広がるとともに、その機能も多種多様化したものが提供されている。又、現在、液晶画面などの表示部の高精細化によって、鮮明な画像を携帯型電話装置の表示部で表示することができるとともに、デジタルデータ圧縮技術の発展に伴い、パケット方式によるデータ通信などを行うことでデータ量の多い映像情報や音声情報を携帯型電話装置により送受信することが可能となっている。そして、インターネットにより配信される動画コンテンツなどを受信して液晶画面などの表示部に再生表示する携帯型電話装置が提供されている。

又、従来技術として、地上波放送を受信する放送受信装置において、携帯電話送受信部を備えることで、基地局から送信される地域識別情報を携帯電話送受信部で受信して現在位置に応じたチャンネル情報に変換することのできる放送受信装置が提案されている(特許文献1参照)。この放送受信装置は、携帯電話送受信部によって、現在通信可能な基地局と通信を行うことで、その基地局が属している放送グループのサービスエリアによる地域識別情報を受信し、その放送グループのサービスエリアに応じたチャンネル設定を自動的に行うことができる。

又、地上波放送の分野においても地上波デジタル放送の実用化が目指されており、そのデジタル技術の発展に伴い、地上波放送を受信するためのチューナの小型化が進められている。このような地上波デジタル放送を受信するための受信部となるチューナを設けることによって、テレビ放送受信用の機能を備えた携帯型電話装置が提案されている(特許文献2参照)。この携帯型電話装置では、地上波デジタル放送受信部で受信された信号より得られた映像情報及び音声情報と、携帯電話用送受信部で受信した信号より得られた映像情報及び音声情報とを、同一のMPEG−4処理部で伸張処理することで、その部品数を抑えた構成としている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
特許文献1又は特許文献2などのように、地上波放送受信装置としての機能と携帯型電話装置としての機能とを備えた装置が提案されているが、このような装置では、例えば、特許文献1では、携帯電話送受信部に対するアンテナと放送受信部に対するアンテナとが必要である。又、特許文献2においても、筺体に取り付けられた外部アンテナと内蔵アンテナとを備え、それぞれが携帯電話と地上波デジタル放送それぞれの使用周波数に対応したアンテナとされている。このように、このような地上波放送受信装置としての機能を備えた携帯型電話装置では、携帯型電話装置としての機能を動作させるためのアンテナと、地上波放送受信装置としての機能を動作させるためのアンテナとが必要となる。

このように、それぞれのアンテナを設けた場合、携帯型電話装置の小型化の妨げとなるとともに、そのアンテナの大きさについても限界がある。又、このような携帯型電話装置に設けられたアンテナによると、その指向性の広がりに限界があるため、移動体である携帯型電話装置で地上波放送を受信する場合、装置の方向によっては、受信が困難な場合もある。更に、マルチパスによるフェージングの影響を考慮した場合、空間ダイバーシティアンテナとすることでフェージングを抑えてアンテナ利得を高くすることができる。しかしながら、携帯型電話装置に取り付けるには大きさに限界があるため、空間ダイバーシティアンテナを携帯型電話装置に構成するのは困難である。

このような問題を鑑みて、本発明は、装置の小型化が可能であるとともに指向性を有する地上波放送受信機能を備えた携帯型電話装置を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために、本発明の携帯型電話装置は、装置本体が電話用信号を処理する携帯電話機能部と放送用信号を処理する放送受信機能部とを備えた携帯型電話装置において、前記放送用信号を受信するアンテナと、当該アンテナで受信した前記放送用信号を出力する放送用出力端子と、を備えたアンテナ装置を有するとともに、前記装置本体が、前記アンテナ装置の前記放送用出力端子が接続されるとともに前記アンテナ装置で受信された前記放送信号が入力される放送入力端子を備え、前記放送入力端子に前記放送用出力端子が接続されたことを検知すると、前記放送用機能部を動作させて前記放送用機能部において処理された前記放送用信号の再生を行うことを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の実施形態について、図面を参照して説明する。図1は、本実施形態の携帯型電話装置の構成を示す外観斜視図である。又、図2は、図1の携帯型電話装置本体及びヘッドフォンの内部構成を示すブロック図である。

図1の携帯型電話装置は、携帯型電話装置本体1と、地上波放送を受信するための放送用アンテナ103を備えるとともに携帯型電話装置本体1と接続されて使用されるヘッドフォン100とを備える。そして、携帯型電話装置1には、ヘッドフォン100が接続されるジャック2と、着信音を含む音声を出力するスピーカ3と、音声が入力されるマイク4と、電話番号や各種操作入力を行うためのキー操作部5と、画像やテキストなどの表示を行う液晶画面などの表示部6と、電話用の電波を送受信する電話用アンテナ7と、を備える。

そして、STEP6又はSTEP7において、アンテナ用ジャック2bにアンテナ用プラグ101bが挿入されていることが確認されたとき(Yes)、主制御部10によって放送受信機能部9をONとする(STEP9)。よって、アンテナ用ジャック2bに挿入されたアンテナ用プラグ101bと電気的に接続されている放送用アンテナ103により受信された高周波信号が、チューナ9aに送出される。よって、チューナ9aでは、放送受信機能部9がONとされたときに合わせられているチャンネルの放送信号を選択受信すると、その電界強度を確認する。そして、主制御部10は確認された電界強度が十分な大きさであるか判定し、受信可能な状態であるか否かを確認する(STEP10)。

又、STEP10において、放送用アンテナ103で受信した信号の電界強度が十分な大きさでなく、地上波放送が受信可能でない場合(No)、表示部6に地上波放送受信不可能であることを報知する表示を行い(STEP13)、STEP1に移行する。又、STEP3で発呼操作がなされたとき(Yes)、又は、STEP4で着呼が確認されたとき(Yes)、携帯電話機能部8が動作して通話状態となる(STEP14)。そして、通話が終了したか否かが確認され(STEP15)、通話が終了したことが確認されると(Yes)、STEP1に移行する。

尚、STEP14のように通話状態となったとき、電話用アンテナ7で受信された高周波信号が高周波アンプ8aで増幅された後、変復調回路8bで復調される。そして、変復調回路8bで復調された信号は、復号化回路8cで復号化された後、主制御部10によって音声信号を音声出力切換部11に送出する。このとき、音声用ジャック2aに音声用プラグ101aが挿入されていないとき、スピーカ3に音声信号が与えられ、音声が再生される。又、音声用ジャック2aに音声用プラグ101aが挿入されているとき、ヘッドフォン100のスピーカ104に音声信号が与えられ、音声が再生される。

音声用ジャック2aに音声用プラグ101aが挿入されていないとき、マイク4に入力された音声による音声信号が音声入力切換部12によって主制御部10に送出される。又、音声用ジャック2aに音声用プラグ101aが挿入されているとき、ヘッドフォン100のマイク105に入力された音声による音声信号が音声入力切換部12によって主制御部10に送出される。そして、主制御部10に送出された音声信号が符号化回路8dで符号化された後、変復調回路8bで変調される。そして、この変復調回路8bで変調された信号が高周波アンプ8aで増幅された高周波信号として、電話用アンテナ7より送信される。

次に、携帯型電話装置本体1が放送受信機能部9をONとした放送受信モードであるときの動作について、図6のフローチャートを参照して説明する。上述のようにして放送受信モードに移行したとき、まず、キー操作部5が操作されて放送受信機能部9のOFFが指示されたか否かが主制御部10によって確認される(STEP101)。そして、放送受信機能部9のOFFが指示されていない場合(No)、アンテナ用ジャック2bにアンテナ用プラグ101bが挿入されているか否かが接続検出部13で確認される(STEP102)。

このとき、アンテナ用ジャック2bにアンテナ用プラグ101bが挿入されていると(Yes)、操作キー5によってチャンネル切換操作が行われたか否かが主制御部10で確認される(STEP103)。そして、チャンネル切換操作があったとき(Yes)、指示されたチャンネルの放送信号を選択受信できるように、チューナ9aにおける局部発振周波数を指示されたチャンネル周波数に変更する(STEP104)。このようにしてSTEP104でチャンネル切換を行ったとき、又は、STEP103でチャンネル切換操作が確認されなかったとき(No)、主制御部10によってキー操作部5によって発呼操作が行われているか否かが確認される(STEP105)。

そして、発呼操作が行われていない場合(No)、主制御部10によって、相手先からの着呼を受け付けない着信拒否状態とされているか否かが確認される(STEP106)。このとき、着信拒否状態でない場合(No)、電話用アンテナ7及び携帯電話機能部8を介して着呼したか否かが確認される(STEP107)。尚、着呼については、表示部6に表示することで使用者に報知するようにしても構わないし、スピーカ3又はスピーカ104で音声出力することで使用者に報知するようにしても構わない。そして、着呼したことが確認されると(Yes)、発呼側の音声を音声信号としてメモリ14に記録する留守番電話機能がONとされているか否かが主制御部10によって確認される(STEP108)。このように留守番電話機能がONとされているとき、着呼したことを報知しないようにしても構わない。

その後、STEP105で発呼操作が確認されたとき(Yes)、又は、STEP108で留守電機能がOFFとされているとき(No)、主制御部10によって、携帯電話機能部8内の復号化回路8cで復号化された音声信号が音声出力切換部11に送出されるように、出力される音声信号の切換制御が行われる(STEP109)。そして、発呼操作又は着呼が確認されると放送受信機能部9をOFFとする電話優先機能がONとされているか否かが確認される(STEP110)。このとき、電話優先機能がONとされていることが確認されると(Yes)、放送受信機能部9がOFFとされるとともに、相手先との通信接続が行われて通話状態となる(STEP111)。
