本発明は、ヨウ素系濃縮防殺菌剤組成物に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、ヨウ素が防殺菌剤として効果があることが知られている。また、ヨウ素が水に難溶であることから、ヨウ化アルカリを添加して可溶化を行うという方法も知られている。しかしながら、このようにして調製したヨウ素系防殺菌剤は、溶液中のヨウ素が蒸発し易く、取り扱い時に毒性が生じるおそれがあるという問題を有している。

そこで、ヨウ素の蒸発を抑えるために、水溶性ポリマーあるいは界面活性剤を添加する方法が知られているが、これらの方法で調製される溶液中の有効ヨウ素濃度は、いずれも6質量%以下と低濃度であり、通常、ヨウ素を防殺菌剤として使用する場合のヨウ素濃度は0〜200ppmであることから、使用時の希釈率が低く、このため、広い範囲の防殺菌を行うには大量の調製液が必要である。

一方、高濃度の調製液組成物を得る方法としては、例えば特開昭56−77209号公報に記載された構成が知られており、この特開昭56−77209号公報では、可溶化剤としてアミノ酸および水溶性ヨウ化物を用いてヨウ素を水に溶解させて有効ヨウ素濃度1〜20質量%の調製液組成物を得ている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上述の特開昭56−77209号公報に記載の調製液組成物を得る方法では、アミノ酸添加により、不添加と比較してヨウ素の蒸発による臭気の減少が認められるものの、大量を取り扱う際の臭気が依然大きく、また、高価なアミノ酸を添加ということから経済的に満足できるものではないという問題を有している。

本発明の目的は、経済的に安価で、かつ低臭気の高濃度に濃縮されたヨウ素系防殺菌剤組成物を提供することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明のヨウ素系濃縮防殺菌剤組成物は、ヨウ素およびヨウ化アルカリの可溶化物が、アルコール類および多価アルコール類の少なくともいずれか一方の水溶液中でさらに安定化し、ヨウ素の蒸発による臭気が著しく減少するとともに、ヨウ素のアルコール類および多価アルコール類の少なくともいずれか一方の水溶液中への溶解性が、低濃度よりも高濃度のほうが良いことから、15質量%〜30質量%のヨウ素と、このヨウ素に対してモル比が0.5〜2であるヨウ化アルカリと、前記ヨウ素およびヨウ化アルカリを溶解するアルコール類および多価アルコール類の少なくともいずれか一方の濃度が25質量%〜90質量%の水溶液とを有したものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明のヨウ素系濃縮防殺菌剤組成物の構成を説明する。

まず、使用するヨウ化アルカリは、ヨウ化リチウム、ヨウ化ナトリウム、あるいはヨウ化カリウムであり、この中、ブローイングアウト法により製造したヨウ素の吸収液あるいは有機ヨウ素化合物を酸あるいはアルカリで加水分解して得たヨウ素含有液より、電気透析で分離したヨウ化ナトリウム水溶液をそのままあるいは濃縮して用いることがより経済的に好ましい。ヨウ化アルカリの量は、少ないとヨウ素の溶解性が悪く、多いと経済的ではないことから、ヨウ素に対するモル比が0.5〜2の範囲、通常は0.8〜1.5である。

次いで、使用するアルコール類は、メタノール、エタノール、n−プロパノールおよびiso−プロパノールである。また、使用する多価アルコール類は、エチレングリコール、プロピレングリコール、1.3−プロパンジオール、1.3−ブタンジオール、1.4−ブタンジオールおよびグリセリンである。ここで、アルコール類および多価アルコール類の少なくともいずれか一方の水溶液中のアルコール類および多価アルコール類の少なくともいずれか一方の濃度は、薄いとヨウ素の蒸発による臭気が大きく、濃いとヨウ素が溶解しないことから25〜90質量%の範囲、通常は40〜80質量%である。
