BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an exhaust emission control device for a diesel engine that captures and burns particulate matter (particulate matter) in exhaust gas discharged from the diesel engine.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Diesel engines have favorable characteristics such as low fuel consumption, but emit large amounts of particulate matter. This generation of permutated matter in diesel engines is also in a trade-off relationship with nitrogen oxide (NOx) emitted from the diesel engine at the same time, and both of them are reduced simultaneously during the combustion process in the diesel engine. It is very difficult to do.
[0003]
In this case, nitrogen oxide can be post-processed using ammonia, but mounting ammonia in a vehicle is not preferable because leakage may occur. Therefore, in the combustion in a diesel engine, priority is given to suppressing the generation of nitrogen oxides that are difficult to post-process on the vehicle. Particulate matter is reduced by capturing particulate matter contained in the exhaust discharged from the diesel engine in a filter section provided in the middle of the exhaust system, and this filter section is clogged. The particulate matter is burned at a predetermined frequency so as not to occur.
[0004]
When burning particulate matter, it should not burn unless the particulate matter is at a high temperature of about 600 ° C or higher. In normal driving such as city driving, the exhaust temperature is 200 ° C near the silencer. Since there is almost no increase to the above, an oxidation catalyst or an electric heater is used to promote combustion of particulate matter supplemented by the filter section.
[0005]
As such a conventional diesel engine exhaust gas purification device, the exhaust gas flowing into the inside of the cylindrical casing is disposed radially outside the inner pipe from the outflow hole provided in the outer peripheral wall of the inner pipe. When flowing into the first filter part, the particulate matter in the exhaust gas is captured by the first filter part and appropriately heated by an electric heater and burned to become ash. Exhaust gas that has passed through the first filter section flows into a finer mesh second filter section provided downstream of the first filter section, and is supplemented here with particulate matter that has been missed by the first filter section. There exists what was comprised so that it might be carried out (refer patent document 1).

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In such a conventional diesel engine exhaust gas purification device, a second filter part is provided downstream of the first filter part to supplement the finer particulate matter that was missed by the first filter part. However, even if the particulate matter of the first filter part is ignited by the electric heater, the temperature on the downstream side does not rise so much and the particulate matter supplemented by the second filter part is difficult to burn. There was a problem.
The present invention has been made to solve the above problem, and is a second filter unit that is arranged downstream of the first filter unit that supplements particulate matter in the exhaust gas and has a finer mesh than the first filter unit. An object of the present invention is to provide an exhaust emission control device for a diesel engine that can promote the temperature rise of the engine.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In the exhaust purification device for a diesel engine according to the first aspect of the present invention, an exhaust inlet portion into which exhaust exhausted from the diesel engine flows and an exhaust outlet portion from which exhaust flows out are located inside the cylindrical outer drum. A casing that is in communication; a first filter portion that is disposed inside the outer drum and that has a first filter material that captures particulate matter in the exhaust gas flowing in from the exhaust inlet portion; and A combustion promoting part that is disposed inside and promotes combustion of particulate matter captured by the first filter part, and a first communication hole that is disposed downstream of the first filter part and communicates with the inside and outside are formed. The first fill is provided between the first inner retainer and the second inner retainer which is disposed on the downstream side of the first inner retainer and has a second communication hole which communicates the inside and the outside. A second filter member holding a second filter material having a finer mesh than the portion, and the first filter member of the first filter member is connected to the second filter member through the first communication hole of the first inner retainer. It is characterized by being in contact with the second filter material.
[0009]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided an exhaust emission control device for a diesel engine, wherein the first communication hole of the first inner retainer has a larger opening area than the second communication hole of the second inner retainer. It is characterized by that.
[0010]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, the second filter material is disposed between the first inner retainer and the second inner retainer in an uncompressed state. Exhaust gas flowing in from one communication hole can flow into another second communication hole in the vicinity of the second communication hole that is the shortest distance from the first communication hole via the second filter material. It is a feature.
[0011]
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, there is provided an exhaust emission control device for a diesel engine, wherein the first filter material is formed of a group of pellets capable of supplementing the particulate matter.
[0012]
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, there is provided an exhaust emission control device for a diesel engine, wherein the combustion promoting part is an oxidation catalyst and is attached to the surface of the first filter material.
[0013]

[0017]
According to a tenth aspect of the present invention, there is provided a diesel engine exhaust gas purification apparatus according to the present invention, wherein the second filter portion is disposed on the radially outer side of the first filter portion, and the first exhaust gas is exhausted through the outer periphery of the first filter portion. It is characterized by flowing into the filter section.
[0018]
【The invention's effect】
In the exhaust purification device for a diesel engine according to the first aspect of the present invention, the exhaust gas discharged from the diesel engine is guided from the exhaust inlet portion to the first filter portion in the exhaust purification device and is included in the exhaust gas. Particulate matter is attached to and supplemented by the first filter material, and then the remaining exhaust gas flows into the second filter portion and is supplemented by the second filter material that has failed to be captured by the first filter material, and then the exhaust outlet. Out of the club. Then, it is converted into carbon dioxide or ash by igniting the supplemented particulate matter as appropriate in the combustion promoting section. At this time, the particulate matter of the first filter part exposed to the high-temperature exhaust begins to ignite and the temperature rises, but at least a part of the first filter material is in contact with the second filter material. The temperature rise of the second filter material is further promoted compared to the case where there is no contact, and the particulate matter supplemented here is burned. As a result, the particulate matter is supplemented while suppressing excessive flow resistance to the exhaust gas in the first filter portion, and the finer particulate matter that could not be supplemented by the first filter portion is the second filter portion having a finer mesh. It can be supplemented and burned easily, and clogging can be prevented.
[0019]
In the exhaust purification system for a diesel engine according to the second aspect of the present invention, the first communication hole of the first inner retainer is a hole having a larger opening area than the second communication hole of the second inner retainer. At least a part of the first filter material can easily come into contact with the second filter material through the first communication hole, and exhaust gas that has flowed in vigorously from the first communication hole reduces the flow area at the second communication hole. As a result, the exhaust gas enters the area outside the passage that linearly connects the first and second communication holes of the second filter material, and the second filter material supplements the particulate matter in the exhaust gas by that amount. It becomes possible to burn, and the second filter material can be used efficiently.
[0020]
In the exhaust emission control device for a diesel engine according to the third aspect of the present invention, the second filter material is disposed between the first inner retainer and the second inner retainer in an uncompressed state. A part of the exhaust gas flowing in from the communication hole flows into the second communication hole in the vicinity of the second communication hole, which is the shortest distance from the first communication hole, via the second filter material. 1. Exhaust gas can easily enter a region that is out of the path that connects the second communication holes linearly, and the particulate matter in the exhaust gas can be supplemented and burned by the second filter material. This makes it possible to efficiently use the second filter material.

In the exhaust emission control device for a diesel engine according to the seventh aspect of the present invention, since the second filter material is formed in a felt shape in which fibers are combined, the second filter material having a finer mesh than the first filter portion is used as the first filter material. Arrangement in an uncompressed state between the inner retainer and the second inner retainer can be easily and inexpensively performed as compared to pellets and the like.
[0025]
In the exhaust emission control device for a diesel engine according to the eighth aspect of the present invention, since the fiber is made of a carbon-based material, the temperature of the fiber can be easily increased by heat from the first filter part or the exhaust gas. It becomes possible to burn fine particulates supplemented with fibers.
[0026]
In the exhaust purification system for a diesel engine according to claim 9, since the total capacity of the first filter material is made larger than that of the second filter material with finer mesh, the supplement of particulate matter while reducing the flow resistance is achieved. It becomes possible to promote combustion.
