この発明は、駅のホームや街頭等の公共の場所に設置された情報表示端末装置と、ユーザが持つ携帯端末装置とを利用した情報表示方法およびシステムに関する。

【従来の技術】
駅のホームや街頭等の公共の場所に設置された情報表示端末装置によって、ユーザが外出中に自分の望む情報を閲覧することは、ユーザが持つ携帯端末装置で情報を閲覧する場合に比ベて、接続されている回線が高速なことと、端末の表示能力（画面の大きさ、解像度等）が高いことから、質の高いコンテンツを短時間で見ることができるという利点がある。

駅のホームや街頭等の公共の場所に設置された情報表示端末装置で、ユーザが自分の望む情報を閲覧する方法としては、情報表示端末装置にボタンやタッチパネルなどを装備させて、ユーザがそれを操作することで情報を閲覧する方法がある。この方法の問題点は、閲覧した情報の中味をユーザが記憶しなければいけないことである。例えば、ある店舗の情報を閲覧し、ユーザがその店舗へ行こうと思った場合、店舗名や住所などを記憶するか、紙にメモするしかなかった。または、情報表示端末装置にプリンタを付けるという方法もあるが、設置場所やメンテナンスなどの点で難があった。

そこで、駅のホームや街頭等の公共の場所に設置された情報表示端末装置を、ユーザが持つ携帯端末で操作する方法がある。単に操作するだけではなく、携帯端末側に関連した情報（店舗名、簡易な地図等）を表示させると、ユーザが興味を持った情報のメモ代わりになる。例えば、特許文献１にあるように、携帯端末から決められた電話番号に電話をし、もしくは、決められた電子メールアドレスにメールすることで、情報表示端末装置に表示するコンテンツＩＤを指定し、情報表示端末装置の表示を変化させるという方法がある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
従来の駅のホームや街頭等の公共の場所に設置された情報表示端末装置をユーザが持つ携帯端末装置で操作する方法は、予め決められたコンテンツの集合から情報表示端末装置で再生するコンテンツを選択するものであったため、その集合に入っていないコンテンツは、情報表示端末装置で表示できなかった。また、むやみに情報表示端末装置で表示できるコンテンツの数を増やし、ユーザに選択できるようにしたとしても、今度はユーザが所望のコンテンツを選択するのに、膨大なコンテンツのリストの中から選択しなければならないという問題が発生する。
また、従来のものは、情報表示端末装置が設置されている場所特有の情報、例えば、近くの映画館の情報等を提供するができなかった。

本発明は上記事情に鑑みてなされたものであり、ユーザが望むコンテンツを情報表示端末装置に表示させることができると共に、情報表示端末装置の位置に依存した詳細情報をユーザの携帯端末装置に表示することができる情報表示方法および情報表示システムを提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
請求項１に記載の発明は、コンピュータ上で実現され、情報を提供する１または複数の情報サーバと、複数箇所に設けられた情報表示端末装置と、ユーザが所有し、情報を受信する携帯端末装置とをネットワークを介して接続してなる情報表示システムにおいて、前記情報サーバが、前記情報表示端末装置を特定する端末識別番号とその生成時の時刻とを元に、当該情報表示端末装置のＩＤを生成して適宜更新し、前記情報表示端末装置が、前記情報サーバにより生成された自装置のＩＤを表示する一方、前記携帯端末装置がユーザによって入力された情報識別番号を前記情報サーバへ送信し、前記情報サーバが、前記携帯端末装置から送信された情報識別番号に対応する接続情報を前記携帯端末装置へ送信し、ユーザの指示を受け前記携帯端末装置が、前記接続情報に基づいて情報を要求するためのメニューを表示し、ユーザにより情報を要求する旨が入力された場合に前記情報サーバへ表示画像情報を要求し、前記情報サーバが前記携帯端末装置に前記情報表示端末装置のＩＤを要求し、前記携帯端末装置が前記情報表示端末装置のＩＤを前記情報サーバへ送信し、前記情報サーバが、前記携帯端末装置から受信したＩＤが前記情報表示端末装置に表示されているものと一致すると判定した場合、情報識別番号と表示画像情報と端末識別番号と詳細情報とを対応づけて記憶する記憶手段から、受信した前記情報識別番号に対応する表示画像情報を検索して、前記ＩＤに対応する前記情報表示端末装置へ送信すると共に、前記情報識別番号と前記ＩＤに対応する詳細情報を検索して、前記携帯端末装置へ当該詳細情報を送信することを特徴とする情報表示方法である。

請求項４に記載の発明は、コンピュータ上で実現され、情報を提供する１または複数の情報サーバと、複数箇所に設けられた情報表示端末装置と、ユーザが所有し、情報を受信する携帯端末装置とをネットワークを介して接続してなる情報表示システムにおいて、前記携帯端末装置は、ユーザによって入力された情報識別番号を前記情報サーバへ送信する手段と、前記情報サーバから受信した接続情報に基づいて情報を要求するためのメニューを表示し、ユーザにより情報を要求する旨が入力された場合に前記情報サーバへ表示画像情報を要求する手段と、前記情報サーバからの要求に応じて前記情報表示端末装置のＩＤを前記情報サーバへ送信する手段とを具備し、前記情報サーバは、情報識別番号と表示画像情報と端末識別番号と詳細情報とを対応付けて記憶する記憶手段と、前記情報表示端末装置を特定する端末識別番号とその生成時の時刻とを元に、当該情報表示端末装置のＩＤを生成して適宜更新する手段と、前記携帯端末装置から送信された情報識別番号に対応する接続情報を前記携帯端末装置へ送信する手段と、前記携帯端末装置に前記情報表示端末装置のＩＤを要求する手段と、前記携帯端末装置から受信したＩＤが前記情報表示端末装置に表示されているものと一致すると判定した場合、前記記憶手段から、受信した前記情報識別番号に対応する前記表示画像情報を検索して、前記ＩＤに対応する情報表示端末装置へ送信すると共に、前記情報識別番号と前記ＩＤに対応する詳細情報を検索して、前記携帯端末装置へ当該詳細情報を送信する手段とを具備し、前記情報表示端末装置は、前記情報サーバにより生成された自装置のＩＤを表示する手段を具備することを特徴とする情報表示システムである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面を参照し、この発明の実施の形態について説明する。図１はこの発明の第１の実施の形態による情報表示システムの構成を示すブロック図である。本システムは、広告サーバ１０、紙またはディスプレイ広告装置２０、広告表示端末装置３０、携帯端末装置４０とが、インターネット５０のようなネットワークを介して接続される構成になっている。ここで、紙またはディスプレイ広告装置２０はインターネット５０に接続されていなくてもよい。

図２は上記広告サーバ１０の構成を示すブロック図である。この図において、１０１はディスプレイ通信管理部、１０２は広告表示端末通信管理部、１０３はスケジュール及び端末ＩＤ生成部、１０４は携帯端末通信管理部、１０５は広告ＤＢ（データベース）、１０６はオペレーティングシステム（ＯＳ）を表している。

このような構成において、ユーザが街頭、駅、車内に設置された紙またはディスプレイ広告装置２０による広告を見て、ユーザが広告中に表示してあるＵＲＬを参照して、携帯電話等の携帯端末装置４０でアクセスを行なうと、携帯端末装置４０にその広告の詳細情報が表示される。その詳細情報の中に、広告表示端末装置３０の操作用のリンクが含まれている。ユーザはその情報を保存し、広告表示端末装置３０の前に立ち、そのリンクをたどると、広告表示端末装置３０のＩＤを入力するように促されるので、広告表示端末装置３０に表示されている端末ＩＤを入力すると、その広告表示端末装置３０に、広告に関連する映像が上映される。例えば、広告が映画の広告だった場合は、広告表示端末装置３０には、その映画の予告編が流れ、店舗の広告だった場合は、店舗の紹介映像が流れる。本実施形態では、映画の広告の場合の例を示す。

この実施形態の基本的な処理フローを図３に示す。また、広告サーバ１０の処理フローを図４に示す。
ユーザは、街頭、駅もしくは車内で、紙またはディスプレイ広告装置２０を閲覧する。ここで、紙またはディスプレイ広告装置２０の表示例を図６に示す。この図に示すように、紙またはディスプレイ広告装置２０には、広告表示の他に、広告サーバ１０のアドレスおよび広告ＩＤが表示される。紙またはディスプレイ広告装置２０が、紙の場合は図６を固定的に表示しているのみであるし、広告サーバ１０とネットワークでつながったディスプレイの場合は、定期的に、広告表示部分と広告ＩＤが変更される。この場合、ディスプレイ管理部１０１を通じて、広告ＤＢ１０５から、広告ＩＤと広告の内容のペアが紙またはディスプレイ広告装置２０に送られ、表示される。

ユーザは、紙またはディスプレイ広告装置２０中の映画広告に興味があれば、広告中に表示されているサーバアドレス（http://www.abc.com/cm/）で示された広告サーバ１０へ、ユーザの持つ携帯端末装置４０からアクセスを行う（ステップＳ１１，ステップＳ１０２）。広告サーバ１０の携帯端末通信管理部１０４は、広告ＩＤの入力を促す画面をユーザの携帯端末装置４０へ送信する。広告サーバ１０ヘアクセスした際の、携帯端末装置４０の画面表示例を図７に示す。ユーザは広告ＩＤ「１２３４」を入力し（ステップＳ１２，ステップＳ１０４）、広告サーバ１０の携帯端末管理部１０４に送信する。

広告サーバ１０の携帯端末通信管理部１０４は、広告ＩＤを受信し、その広告ＩＤに対応した、携帯端末用の広告を広告ＤＢ１０５から検索し、携帯端末装置４０に送信する。広告ＤＢ１０５の記憶内容の一例を図５に示す。図５において、広告ＩＤは、広告毎についているユニークなＩＤである。端末識別番号は、広告表示端末装置３０に対応するユニークなＩＤであり、後述のように広告表示端末装置３０のＩＤを生成する時も使用される。また、端末識別番号「ＮＵＬＬ」は標準番号であり、広告ＩＤの入力があった場合（ステップＳ１０４）は、この端末識別番号「ＮＵＬＬ」の欄のデータが使用される。一方、端末識別番号「１」、「２」・・・は広告表示端末装置３０の所在地に対応しており、例えば、「１」は新宿の広告表示端末装置３０に、「２」は渋谷の広告表示端末装置３０に対応している。

コンテンツ１，２，３，．．．は、それぞれ携帯端末装置４０に表示するデータであり、各サイトのリンク名とリンク先ＵＲＬのペアからなっている。ＮＵＬＬの場合は表示されない。端末制御用リンクは、広告表示端末装置３０を制御するためのもので、サイトのリンク名とＵＲＬ（例えばＣＧＩへのリンク）からなっている。このリンク中には、広告ＩＤが含まれている（例えば、ＣＧＩのパラメータ等）ので、後に広告表示端末装置３０のＩＤを入力する際には、再度広告ＩＤを入力する必要はない。

さて、ユーザが広告ＩＤ「１２３４」を入力すると（ステップＳ１２，ステップＳ１０４）、広告ＤＢ１０５がＩＤ「１２３４」，端末識別番号「ＮＵＬＬ」によって検索され、その結果、携帯端末装置４０に図８のように表示される（ステップＳ１３，ステップＳ１０５）。

ユーザは、映画広告に興味があるので、図８の面面を携帯端末装置４０に保存する。そして、駅または街頭にある広告表示端末装置３０を閲覧する。広告表示端末装置３０の表示例を図９に示す。広告表示端末装置３０は、広告サーバ１０のスケジュール及び端末ＩＤ生成部１０３で生成されたスケジュールに従って、複数ある広告を再生していく。また、同じくスケジュール及び端末ＩＤ生成部１０３で生成された広告表示端末装置３０の端末ＩＤを適宜更新していく。この端末ＩＤは、端末識別番号（図５）とその生成時の時刻を基にして生成される。これは、端末ＩＤを適宜変更することで、広告表示端末装置３０の前にいないユーザからの操作を防ぐ役目をする。また、上記の端末ＩＤと図５の端末識別番号との対応は広告ＤＢ１０５内に記憶される。

いま、ユーザが、例えば新宿にある広告表示端末装置３０を見た時点において、端末ＩＤが「５６７８」であったとする。ユーザは、広告表示端末装置３０において映画の予告編を見たいと思い、携帯端末装置４０で保存していた図８の画面から、プレビューを選択する（ステップＳ１４）。すると、広告サーバ１０の携帯端末通信管理部１０４は、端末ＩＤの入力を促す画面をユーザの携帯端末装置４０へ送信する。携帯端末装置４０の画面表示例を図１０に示す。ユーザは端末ＩＤ「５６７８」を入力し、広告サーバ１０の携帯端末管理部１０４に送信する（ステップＳ１５，ステップＳ１０６）。

広告サーバ１０の携帯端末通信管理部１０４は、端末ＩＤを受信し、その端末ＩＤが広告表示端末装置３０に表示されているものと一致するかの判定を行い、一致しているのなら、その端末ＩＤに基づき広告ＤＢ１０５から、端末識別番号を抽出する（ステップＳ１０７）。その一方、広告ＩＤをキーに広告ＤＢ１０５から、相当する映画の予告編を検索し、広告表示端末装置３０で再生させる。また、広告ＤＢ１０５から広告ＩＤと、端末識別番号をキーにして、携帯端末装置４０に送信する詳細情報を検索する。この場合、図５において、広告ＩＤ「１２３４」，端末識別番号「１」をキーにして検索し、その結果、図１１に示す情報が携帯端末装置４０に送信される。

ユーザが選択した映画の予告編が広告表示端末装置３０で再生され（ステップＳ１６）、それと同時に広告表示端末装置３０の位置に依存した広告に関する詳細情報が携帯端末装置４０に送られる（ステップＳ１７）。それを鑑賞した後、映画の内容が気に入ったならば、携帯端末装置４０に表示された詳細情報（図１１）の中に広告表示端末装置３０から一番近い上映館の情報が表示されているので、そこから、上演スケジュールのリンクを選択すると、当日の上演スケジュールを見ることができる。また、すぐその場で見る必要はなく、図１１のべージを保存しておき、近辺で所用を済ませた後、映画を見る余裕ができたときに参照することも可能である。

なお、携帯端末装置４０に図８の表示が行われた時点において、ユーザが「みどころ」を選択すると、映画の見所が携帯端末装置４０に表示され、また、「キャスト」を選択すると、携帯端末装置４０に映画のキャストが表示される。

次に、この発明の第２の実施の形態について説明する。この第２の実施形態は、ユーザが広告表示端末装置３０に望みのものを表示させるために、ユーザの携帯端末装置４０と、紙またはディスプレイ広告装置２０および広告表示端末装置３０が直接無線もしくは赤外線で通信を行うようになっている。

図１２に第２の実施の形態のブロック図を示す。本システムは、広告サーバ１０、紙またはディスプレイ広告装置２０、広告表示端末装置３０が、例えばインターネット５０のようなネットワークを介して接続され、更に、紙またはディスプレイ広告装置２０、広告表示端末装置３０がそれぞれ、携帯端末装置４０と無線もしくは赤外線で通信できる構成になっている。

第２の実施形態の基本的な処理フローを図１４に示す。そして、紙／ディスプレイ広告装置２０の処理フローを図１５に、広告表示端末装置３０の処理フローを図１６に示す。
ユーザは、街頭、駅もしくは車内で、紙またはディスプレイ広告２０を閲覧する。ここで、紙またはディスプレイ広告の表示例を図１７に示す。紙またはディスプレイ広告装置２０が、紙の場合は図１７を固定的に表示しているのみであり、その背後もしくは近傍に、広告ＩＤとその詳細情報（図８の内容に相当）を記憶した広告ＤＢ２０１を持つ無線もしくは赤外線通信装置を備える。また、広告サーバ１０とネットワーク５０で接続されたディスプレイ装置２０の場合は、定期的に広告表示部分が変更され、それに伴い現在表示中の広告ＩＤとその詳細情報がＤＢ２０１に蓄積される。この場合、広告サーバ１０のディスプレイ管理部１０１を通じて、広告ＤＢ１０５から、広告ＩＤと広告の内容および詳細情報が送信される。

ユーザは、紙またはディスプレイ広告装置２０中の広告に興味があれば、無線もしくは赤外線通信機能を持つ携帯端末装置４０を使い、紙またはディスプレイ広告装置２０と通信をする（ステップＳ２１，ステップＳ２２１）。紙またはディスプレイ広告装置２０は、ユーザからのアクセスを受け、広告ＤＢ２０１を検索し（ステップＳ２２３）、広告ＩＤとその広告の詳細情報を携帯端末装置４０に送る（ステップＳ２２，ステップＳ２２４）。その結果、携帯端末装置４０は、図８のような情報を表示する。

ユーザは、この広告に興味があるので、図８の画面を携帯端末装置４０に保存する。そして、駅または街頭にある広告表示端末装置３０を閲覧する。広告表示端末装置３０の表示例を図１８に示す。広告表示端末装置３０は、スケジュール生成部３０３で生成されたスケジュールに従って、複数ある広告を再生していく（ステップＳ２３１）。

ユーザは、携帯端末装置４０で保存していた図８の画面から、プレビューを選択する（ステップＳ２３）。すると、携帯端末装置４０から、広告ＩＤが広告表示端末装置３０に送信される（ステップＳ２４，ステップＳ２３３）。広告表示端末装置３０の広告サーバ通信管理部３０１は、広告ＩＤと端末識別番号を広告サーバ１０に送信する（ステップＳ２５，ステップＳ２３４）。
広告サーバ１０の広告表示端末通信管理部１０２は、広告ＩＤと端末識別番号を受信し、広告ＩＤをキーに広告ＤＢ１０５から、相当する映画の予告編を、また、広告ＩＤと端末識別番号をキーに広告ＤＢ１０５から、携帯端末装置４０へ送信する詳細情報を検索し、広告表示端末装置３０へ送信する（ステップＳ２６，ステップＳ２３５）。
