Description
概して、本発明は、電子商品監視(EAS)マーカに使用される磁界を生成し制御する技術に関する。磁界を生成するためにRCL回路または他の回路を組み込む場合がある従来のシステムとは異なり、本発明に係る技術は、電流切替装置を利用して、磁界を生成するために一つまたは複数の電流パルスを有する信号を生成する。
Claims (6)
- 電子商品監視マーカと相互作用を行うための磁界を生成するコイルと、
前記コイルに通電するための一つまたは複数のパルスを有する信号を出力する電流切替装置の第1セットおよび第2セットを有する駆動ユニットと、
前記パルスの振幅を制御するプログラム可能プロセッサとを備え、
前記プログラム可能プロセッサは、第1方向に向けられた前記磁界を生成するために、前記コイルを通して第1電流パルスを出力するように前記駆動ユニットの前記電流切替装置の前記第1セットをプログラム可能に制御し、第2方向に向けられた前記磁界を生成するために、前記コイルを通して第2電流パルスを出力するように前記駆動ユニットの前記電流切替装置の前記第2セットをプログラム可能に制御し、
実際の前記磁界の強度を示す信号を検出するために前記プログラム可能プロセッサに接続された検出器をさらに備え、前記プログラム可能プロセッサが、検出された実際の前記磁界の強度を示す信号に基づいて、前記磁界の目標強度を増大または減少させるように、前記磁界の目標強度のレベルならびに前記第1電流パルスおよび前記第2電流パルスの活性化期間を変化させることを特徴とする、電子商品監視マーカに使用される磁界を生成する装置。 - ユーザから構成パラメータを受け取るためのユーザインタフェースをさらに備え、前記プログラム可能プロセッサが、前記構成パラメータに基づいて前記磁界の目標強度を算出する請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記プログラム可能プロセッサが、前記電子商品監視マーカが取り付けられている物品のタイプ、検知された駆動電圧、および予め生成された磁界の検出された強度のうちの少なくとも一つに基づいて前記磁界の目標強度を算出する請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記プログラム可能プロセッサが、先行するデューティサイクルの一定割合だけ、後続するデューティサイクルの各々を減少させる請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記プログラム可能プロセッサが、前記駆動ユニットを、前記コイルに通電する第1の状態と前記コイルの通電を停止させる第2の状態とに逐次設定することにより、前記信号を生成するように前記駆動ユニットを制御する請求項1に記載の装置。
- プログラム可能プロセッサにより、電子商品監視マーカと相互作用を行うための磁界の目標強度を算出するステップと、
第1方向に向けられた前記磁界を生成するために、コイルを通して第1電流パルスを出力するように駆動ユニットの電流切替装置の第1セットをプログラム可能に制御するステップと、
第2方向に向けられた前記磁界を生成するために、前記コイルを通して第2電流パルスを出力するように前記駆動ユニットの電流切替装置の第2セットをプログラム可能に制御するステップとを含み、
前記プログラム可能プロセッサに接続された検出器により検出された実際の前記磁界の強度を示す信号に基づいて、前記磁界の目標強度を増大または減少させるように、前記磁界の目標強度のレベルならびに前記第1電流パルスおよび前記第2電流パルスの活性化期間を変化させることを特徴とする、電子商品監視マーカに使用される磁界を生成する方法。
