【発明が解決しようとする課題】
従来のエアコン室内機は以上のように構成されているので、本体の下側に設けられている吹出し口から冷風や温風を送風することができる。しかし、冷風を送風する場合、できる限り上方向に送風することが望ましいが、吹出し口が本体の下側に設けられているため、上方向に送風するには限界があり、冷風を効率よく循環させることができないことがあるなどの課題があった。

この発明は上記のような課題を解決するためになされたもので、冷風や温風を効率よく循環させることができるエアコン室内機を得ることを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この発明に係るエアコン室内機は、熱交換器により熱交換された空気を本体の正面から送風する送風機を設けたものである。
また、本体が電源ユニット内蔵のクレードル部を介して壁に取り付けられており、送風機が本体の背面に取り付けられた吸込み口から室内の空気を吸い込むようにしたものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、この発明の実施の一形態を説明する。
実施の形態1.
図1はこの発明の実施の形態1によるエアコン室内機を示す正面透視図であり、図2はこの発明の実施の形態1によるエアコン室内機を示す側面図である。図において、熱交換器3は本体1内の背面側に設置され、吸込み口2から吸込まれた室内の空気と図示せぬ室外機から送られた冷媒の間で熱交換を実施する。なお、熱交換器3は複数の熱交換ユニット3a,3b,3cから構成されている。
送風機4は熱交換器3の前面側に設置され、複数のプロペラファン4a,4b,4cから構成されている。プロペラファン4a,4b,4cは熱交換ユニット3a,3b,3cの前面側に設置され、吸込み口2から室内の空気を吸込んで熱交換ユニット3a,3b,3cに通し、その熱交換ユニット3a,3b,3cを通過した空気を室内に送風する。
なお、この実施の形態1では、本体1の正面には吹出しベーン5が取り付けられ、図示せぬ開閉機構により吹出しベーン5が開閉されるが、吹出しベーン5の代わりに、本体1の正面に吹出し口を取り付けるようにしてもよい。

次に動作について説明する。
本体1の正面に取り付けられている吹出しベーン5が図3のように開いている状態において、プロペラファン4a,4b,4cが回転を開始すると、図2に示すように、吸込み口2から室内の空気の吸込みを開始し、その空気が熱交換器3の熱交換ユニット3a,3b,3cに流入する。
熱交換器3の熱交換ユニット3a,3b,3cに流入された空気は、図示せぬ室外機から送られた冷媒との間で熱交換され、熱交換後の空気が室内に送風される。

なお、この実施の形態1では、一般的には、本体1内の正面側に設置される熱交換器3を本体1内の背面側に設置して、本体1の背面側から室内の空気を吸込めるようにするため、図4に示すように、電源ユニット内蔵のクレードル部を介して壁に取り付けるようにしている。ただし、本体1がクレードル部と一体化されていてもよい。
これにより、本体1内の正面側にスペースが出来るので、本体1の正面から空気を送風することができるようになる。

【発明の効果】
以上のように、この発明によれば、熱交換器により熱交換された空気を本体の正面から送風する送風機を設けるように構成したので、例えば、冷風を送風する場合、本体の下側から送風する場合よりも、容易に上方向に送風することができるようになり、その結果、冷風や温風を効率よく循環させることができる効果がある。
また、本体が電源ユニット内蔵のクレードル部を介して壁に取り付けられているように構成したので、送風機が本体の背面に取り付けられた吸込み口から室内の空気を吸い込むことができる効果がある。
