Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a filter paper that removes dust, dust, and the like from a passing fluid, and a filter device that includes the filter paper.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The filter device has a configuration in which a filter paper formed by folding a nonwoven fabric or the like is held in a case in which a fluid intake port and a fluid discharge port are formed, and in a fluid (for example, air or oil) taken from the fluid intake port. The dust, dust, etc. contained in the filter paper are removed by the filter paper before being discharged out of the case through the fluid discharge port.
[0003]
FIG. 6 shows the structure of an air cleaner as an example of a conventional filter device. In this air cleaner, a mountain fold 91 is formed between an upper case 81 formed with an air intake 82 and opened downward, and a lower case 85 formed with an air outlet 86 and opened upward. The filter paper 90 folded in a bellows shape so that the folds 92 and the valley folds 92 are alternately positioned is accommodated and installed in a state of being sandwiched from above and below by the upper and lower frame members 95 and 96, and is taken in from the air intake 82. After the dust, dust and the like are removed from the filter paper 90, the air is discharged from the air outlet 86 to the outside of the air cleaner. The upper case 81 and the lower case 85 are detachably coupled by locking a lever latch 88 provided on the lower case 85 to a locking projection 84 provided on the upper case 81. The filter paper 90 accommodated therein can be periodically cleaned or replaced with a new one.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in such a conventional filter device, the filter paper is accommodated in the case in a state of being folded in a bellows shape, in order to make the surface area (filtering area) of the filter paper as large as possible in a limited space in the case. Because. If the filter paper can be folded as small as possible, a wider filtration area can be ensured, and the filter paper replacement time or life in the filter device can be prolonged. Moreover, even if the filter paper has the same size, if it can be folded smaller, the size of the case can be further reduced while having the same filtration area (filtration performance). And can be made compact. For this reason, a filter paper that has almost the same shape as that of the prior art and is folded as small as possible, and a filter device using such a filter paper have been desired.
[0005]
The present invention has been made in view of such a problem, and is a filter paper that is substantially the same shape as that of the prior art and is folded as small as possible, and a filter device in which such a filter paper is used to reduce the overall size, or An object of the present invention is to provide a filter device having a structure that can improve the dust and dust removal performance and reduce the frequency of replacement of filter paper while having almost the same size as the conventional one.

Further, the filter paper according to the present invention is a filter paper folded so that the mountain folds and the valley folds are alternately positioned. A concave fold is formed in a part of the fold, and a line that obliquely intersects with the fold line of the valley fold is mountain-folded to form a convex fold in a part of the valley fold. It is only necessary to have a compressed shape (the developed view when developed in a planar shape is not necessarily as shown in FIG. 3 or FIG. 4).
[0023]
Further, as shown in the above embodiment, the concave folds formed in part of the mountain folds and the convex folds formed in part of the valley folds are It is not necessary to be provided at the center of the part, and it may be close to the end. Furthermore, a plurality of concave folds provided in the mountain folds and convex folds provided in the valley folds may be provided per one mountain fold or valley fold. By doing so, it becomes possible to fold the filter paper smaller.
[0024]
In addition, the shape of the case of the filter device shown in the above-described embodiment is merely an example, as long as the air intake port and the air discharge port are formed and the filter paper according to the present invention can be accommodated therein, It may have any shape. Furthermore, the filter device according to the present invention is not limited to a device that removes dust and dirt in the air (that is, an air cleaner), and may be a device that removes dust and dust in a liquid. That is, the filter device according to the present invention is only required to hold the filter paper according to the present invention in a case having a fluid intake port and a fluid discharge port. The oil is not limited to this.
[0025]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the filter paper according to the present invention, a folded portion is formed in each of a part of the mountain fold part and a part of the valley fold part, and the whole is compressed into the center. If the filter paper before folding has the same shape, the filter device having the same filtration area and the overall width (thin) is configured as compared with the conventional filter that does not have a simple folding part.
