Description
【0001】

<動作>
【0050】
<特徴>
(a)

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The disk drive device described in
First, a disk cartridge having a spindle motor therein is troublesome because it takes time to further connect a connector as a means for energizing when the disk cartridge is mounted in the disk drive device.
[0009]
On the other hand, when the stator is provided outside the disk cartridge, the recording disk is rotated by the stator and the magnet acting through the case portion and the gap of the disk cartridge. Here, if the disk cartridge can always be installed at the same position with respect to the disk drive device, the distance between the stator and the magnet can be uniquely determined. However, since it is difficult to position the disk cartridge with high accuracy with respect to the disk drive device, the distance between the stator and the magnet varies. Further, since at least the case portion exists between the stator and the magnet, the distance between the stator and the magnet cannot be made equal to or less than the thickness of the case portion. For this reason, magnetic resistance increases and the efficiency of the magnetic circuit comprised from a stator and a magnet falls. As a result, the rotation of the rotor portion may become unstable.
[0010]
The disk drive devices described in
[0011]
As described above, the conventional disk drive device and the disk cartridge have problems in the rotation mechanism of the recording disk and the stability of the rotation of the recording disk.
An object of the present invention is to provide a disk drive device and a disk cartridge that can simplify the rotation mechanism of a recording disk and can perform more stable rotation.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In the disk drive device according to the first aspect, the disk cartridge can be attached and detached. The disc cartridge includes a hub rotor portion that is provided with a recording disc and a magnet at a peripheral portion and is rotatably supported, and a plurality of yoke portions that face the magnet, in a cartridge case. The disk drive device includes a magnetomotive force generating unit including a plurality of armature coils and a plurality of cores around which the plurality of armature coils are wound, and a disk cartridge. The plurality of cores of the magnetomotive force generating unit can be magnetically connected by contacting a plurality of yoke portions of the disk cartridge.
[0013]
The recording disk rotation mechanism of the disk cartridge is composed of a yoke part and a hub rotor part of the disk cartridge. The magnetomotive force generating unit is not provided with a rotation mechanism.
A mechanism (motor) for rotating the recording disk includes an armature coil and a core of the magnetomotive force generating unit, and a yoke portion and a hub rotor portion of the disk cartridge. Here, when the core and the yoke portion come into contact and are magnetically connected, they are integrated as a stator core. Thereby, the magnetic field generated when the armature coil is energized acts on the magnet of the hub rotor portion through the core and the yoke portion, and rotates the hub rotor portion.
[0014]
In this disk drive device, since the rotation mechanism is provided only on the disk cartridge side, the rotation mechanism is simplified. Therefore, unlike the case where the disk drive device is provided with a rotation drive (motor) mechanism and the disk cartridge is provided with a rotation mechanism, there is no portion for transmitting the rotational force from the magnetomotive force generating unit to the disk cartridge. Accuracy can be increased.
[0015]
Further, since the core and the yoke portion are magnetically connected by abutting, the magnetic resistance when the magnetic field is transmitted from the core to the yoke portion can be suppressed. Therefore, the magnetic field generated by the armature coil can be reliably transmitted into the disk cartridge and act on the magnet of the hub rotor portion.
Furthermore, the distance between the yoke portion and the magnet can be made constant to face each other. Unlike the case where the yoke part and the magnet of the motor are separated into the disk drive device and the disk cartridge, in this disk cartridge, the action of the magnetic field from the yoke part does not change greatly with respect to the magnet. For this reason, the rotation of the hub rotor portion can be kept constant.
[0016]
Therefore, the rotation mechanism of the recording disk can be simplified, and the hub rotor portion and the recording disk can be rotated stably.
Note that the core and the yoke portion may be formed by sintering fine iron powder having an insulated surface in order to suppress magnetic loss due to eddy current caused by a change in magnetic field.
[0017]
The disk drive device according to a second aspect is the disk drive device according to the first aspect, wherein the plurality of cores and the plurality of yoke portions can be positioned relative to each other by contacting each other.
By abutting the core and the yoke portion, and further sufficiently abutting, the magnetic field generated by the armature coil can be transmitted from the core to the yoke portion with little loss.
[0018]
In this disk drive device, the relative position can be determined by bringing the core and the yoke portion into contact with each other. Thereby, it becomes possible to always make contact at a position where the contact between the core and the yoke portion is sufficiently performed. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the loss of magnetic field transmission at the contact portion between the core and the yoke portion.
A disk drive device according to a third aspect is the disk drive device according to the second aspect, wherein a plurality of cores and a plurality of yoke portions are respectively arranged in an annular shape. The plurality of cores and the plurality of yoke portions each have a tapered surface inclined in a substantially radial direction of the hub rotor portion, and abut against each other on the tapered surface.
[0019]
When the disk cartridge is mounted on the disk drive device, the plurality of cores and the plurality of yoke portions abut each other. In this disk drive apparatus, since the plurality of cores and the plurality of yoke portions are respectively arranged in an annular shape and each have a substantially radial tapered surface, the hub rotor portion is brought into contact with the core and the yoke portion. A substantially opposite force acts in the radial direction between the cores and the yoke portions that are disposed substantially opposite to each other across the surface, thereby achieving a balance. For this reason, a magnetomotive force generating unit having a plurality of cores and a disk cartridge having a plurality of yoke portions are prevented from shifting in relative positions in the radial direction when the disk cartridge is mounted. Contact displacement can be suppressed. As a result, the magnetic field generated by the armature coil can be reliably transmitted to the disk cartridge and act on the magnet of the hub rotor portion.
[0020]
A disk drive device according to a fourth aspect is the disk drive device according to the second aspect, wherein the plurality of cores and the plurality of yoke portions can be fitted to each other.
In this disk drive device, the core and the yoke portion are fitted to each other, whereby mutual contact can be ensured. As a result, the magnetic field generated by the armature coil can be reliably transmitted to the disk cartridge and act on the magnet of the hub rotor portion.
[0021]
In addition, as a fitting means, the fitting by the uneven | corrugated | grooved part provided in each of a core and a yoke part, fastening, etc. are mentioned.
A disk drive device according to a fifth aspect is the disk drive device according to the second aspect, wherein the plurality of cores and the plurality of yoke portions can be screwed together.
In this disk drive device, the core and the yoke portion can be screwed together to ensure contact with each other. As a result, the magnetic field generated by the armature coil can be reliably transmitted to the disk cartridge and act on the magnet of the hub rotor portion.
[0022]
The disk drive device according to claim 6 is the disk drive device according to any one of
In this disk drive apparatus, the core and the yoke part abut against each other in the generally radial direction of the hub rotor part. For this reason, the yoke portion provided on the side surface portion in the radial direction of the disk cartridge (including the protruding portion of the disk cartridge and the side surface of the recess portion) can abut against the core. Further, when the disc cartridge is mounted, if the plurality of cores can press the side surface of the disc cartridge, the contact portion between the core and the yoke portion sufficiently comes into contact. Therefore, the magnetic field generated by the armature coil can be reliably transmitted into the disk cartridge and act on the magnet of the hub rotor portion.
[0023]
A disk drive device according to a seventh aspect is the disk drive device according to any one of the first to fifth aspects, wherein the plurality of cores and the plurality of yoke portions oppose each other in a substantially rotational axis direction of the hub rotor portion. .
In this disk drive device, the core and the yoke portion are in contact with each other with respect to the direction of the rotation axis of the hub rotor portion. For this reason, the yoke part provided in the lower surface of the rotating shaft direction of the disc cartridge can contact the core.
[0024]
Further, when the disk cartridge is mounted so as to move in the direction of the rotation axis with respect to the disk drive device, the contact between the core and the yoke portion is facilitated. The disk cartridge according to claim 8 is detachable from the magnetomotive force generating unit of the disk drive device having a plurality of cores around which the armature coils are wound. The disc cartridge includes a cartridge case, a hub rotor portion, a recording disc, a bearing portion, and a plurality of yoke portions. A magnet is provided on the peripheral portion of the hub rotor portion. The disc-shaped recording disk is supported by the hub rotor portion and is arranged concentrically with the hub rotor portion. The bearing portion is fixed to the cartridge case and rotatably supports the hub rotor portion. The yoke portion is fixed to the cartridge case, faces the magnet, and can be magnetically connected by contacting a plurality of cores.
[0025]
The recording disk rotating mechanism of the disk cartridge includes a yoke part and a hub rotor part of the disk cartridge.
Thus, the magnetic field generated when the armature coil of the magnetomotive force generating unit is energized acts on the magnet of the hub rotor portion through the core and the yoke portion, and rotates the hub rotor portion.
[0026]
This disk cartridge is provided with a rotating mechanism, while the magnetomotive force generating unit is not provided with a rotating mechanism. For this reason, the rotation mechanism is simplified. Therefore, unlike the case where the rotational drive (motor) mechanism is provided in the magnetomotive force generation portion of the disk drive device and the rotation mechanism is provided in the disk cartridge, there is no portion for transmitting the rotational force from the magnetomotive force generation unit to the disk cartridge. Therefore, the reliability of transmission of rotational force can be improved.
[0027]
[0028]
Therefore, the rotation mechanism of the recording disk can be simplified, and the hub rotor portion and the recording disk can be rotated stably.
Note that the core and the yoke portion may be formed by sintering fine iron powder having an insulated surface in order to suppress magnetic loss due to eddy current caused by a change in magnetic field.
[0029]
A disk cartridge according to a ninth aspect is the disk cartridge according to the eighth aspect, wherein the yoke portion and the magnet face each other in a substantially radial direction of the hub rotor portion.
In this disk cartridge, the yoke portion and the magnet face each other in the direction of the rotation axis of the hub rotor portion.
A disk cartridge according to a tenth aspect is the disk cartridge according to the eighth aspect, wherein the yoke portion and the magnet are opposed to each other in a substantially rotational axis direction of the hub rotor portion.
[0030]
In this disk cartridge, the yoke portion and the magnet face each other in the direction of the rotation axis of the hub rotor portion. Here, by using a thin yoke part and magnet, it is possible to further reduce the thickness of the disk cartridge in the direction of the rotation axis.
A disc cartridge according to an eleventh aspect is the disc cartridge according to any one of the eighth to tenth aspects, wherein the plurality of yoke portions are made of laminated steel plates.
[0031]
In this disk cartridge, a laminated steel plate is used which is laminated perpendicularly to the direction of the magnetic field transmitted to the yoke portion. For this reason, the eddy current that can be generated in the yoke portion when the magnetic field is transmitted is suppressed. Thereby, loss due to eddy current is suppressed, and the magnetic field generated in the armature coil can be reliably transmitted into the disk cartridge.
[0032]
