Description
【0001】
【0020】
L=tan-1(7゜)×(6−1.2)
≒39m
【0021】
h=tan(1/60)×39m
≒1.1cm

[0004]
As another method, as shown in FIG. 7, in the Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway, etc., if the arrow part of the information sign is completely filled with LEDs on the graphic information board, red is displayed when an accident is closed. By causing the LED to emit light and displaying a red X mark on the arrow that has been closed, an accident or a closed road is displayed.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in such a conventional information display device, when the former variable display device is used, these devices are relatively expensive and take up a large installation space. There was a problem that the installation of was difficult.
In addition, when the latter graphic display board is used, when the LED is not emitting light, the arrow portion is black, which is different from the white color of the arrow portion of the guide sign defined by the sign marking instruction, and the road shape There is a disadvantage that the mounting structure of the LED is complicated and expensive because it is necessary to mount the LED together.
[0006]
Therefore, in the
As a method for performing the red arrow display, it is conceivable to embed the LED of the arrow portion of the graphic information board (see FIG. 7) in the guide sign board.
[0007]
However, this method has a problem because the shape of the LED is large, and when the LED is not emitting light, the LED appears black and displays a cross.
The present invention is intended to solve such problems, and provides an information display device that maintains the function of a guide sign defined by a sign indication instruction and that can clearly display a preceding road condition to a driver. Is.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
To achieve the above object, the present invention is an information display device of an internally illuminated using a light diffusing light guide member, horizontally and vertically on a first display symbol, which is formed on the light diffusing light guide member are arranged in a matrix, a plurality of micro holes penetrating in the thickness direction of the light diffusing light guide member, disposed respectively inserted into these small holes, any label pattern at point spelled during light emission, the such as letters or symbols A plurality of LEDs that superimpose and display the two display symbols on the first display symbol, and the diameter of each minute hole is set to a size that is not visible to the occupant of the traveling vehicle when each LED does not emit light. is there.
[0009]
Further, in a reflective information display device using a light reflecting member, a plurality of microscopic elements arranged in a vertical and horizontal matrix on the first display pattern formed on the light reflecting member and penetrating in the thickness direction of the light reflecting member. And a plurality of LEDs that are inserted and arranged in the micro holes and that display a second display design such as an arbitrary sign design, a character, or a symbol superimposed on the first display design in a stapling manner when emitting light. The diameter of each minute hole is set to a size that is not visually recognized by the occupant of the traveling vehicle when each LED does not emit light.
[0010]
Further, a light guiding member, the information display device of the internal irradiation type comprising a disposed light diffusing light guide member on the back surface, vertical and horizontal matrix on a first display symbol formed on the light guiding member A plurality of minute holes penetrating in the thickness direction of the light diffusive light guide member, and inserted into these minute holes, respectively, and second signs such as arbitrary sign designs, characters or symbols, etc. by dot-stitching at the time of light emission And a plurality of LEDs that are displayed in a superimposed manner on the first display symbol, and the diameter of each minute hole is set to a size that is not visible to the occupant of the traveling vehicle when each LED does not emit light. .
[0011]
Specifically, the diameter of the minute hole is 3 to 5 mm.
Therefore, in each of these information display devices, an arbitrary second display symbol is visually recognized by the occupant of the traveling vehicle in a dotted manner by superimposing it on the fixed first display symbol only at the time of LED light emission.
[0012]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Next, the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is an explanatory diagram showing the configuration of the information display device according to the first embodiment of the present invention, and in particular, an internally illuminated guide sign is shown as an example.
In the same figure, (a) is an external configuration (front and side surfaces), (b) is a front view of the main part, (c) is a BB 'cross-sectional view of the main part, and (d) is another configuration example. It is BB 'sectional drawing.
[0013]
As shown in FIG. 1A, the internally-illuminated guide signs are formed with a display design such as a sign design, characters, symbols, and the like by a colored light diffusing
And it forms in the plate-shaped or sheet-like light diffusable
[0014]
Hereinafter, a case where a red X mark is displayed in the A portion (white arrow region) of FIG. 1A in such an internally illuminated guide sign will be described in detail.

The transparent plate 11B is for waterproofing so that rainwater does not affect the electric circuit such as the electrode of the
Further, the diameter of the
[0017]
A general LED has a diameter (outside dimension) of about 1.5 mm to 7.5 mm, but considering a light output, a diameter of about 3 to 5 mm is suitable, and the light output is one red LED. Therefore, it is in a situation where a maximum of about 2 cd can be manufactured.
In addition, the luminous intensity required for the driver to visually recognize while traveling is 150 m away when a light bulb with a 30 mm pitch, a diameter of 20 mm, and a 1.5 cd luminous intensity is used in the road information board described above. The point spelling display is fully visible from the point.
[0018]
Accordingly, the diameter of the LED may appear larger than the actual size due to the phenomenon of light bleeding during light emission, and the light emission output of an LED having a diameter of 3 to 5 mm is sufficient.
In addition, it has been confirmed that the dotted display can be sufficiently visually recognized in the visual experiment.
[0019]
On the other hand, for the LED 15B that does not emit light, since the
Further, the angle that the driver visually recognizes while traveling, that is, the upper visual recognition limit angle is said to be 7 °.
Therefore, if the height position of the general sign board is 6 m and the height of the driver's eye is 1.2 m, the minimum distance L for visually recognizing this sign can be obtained by the following equation.
[0020]
L = tan −1 (7 °) × (6-1.2)
≒ 39m
Actually, it is impossible to visually recognize a 3-5 mm minute spot that does not emit light from a point 39 m in front of the sign board from the viewpoint of the driver's eyesight.
For example, the size h that a human with a visual acuity of 1.0 can distinguish from a position 39 m away can be obtained from the Landolt ring by the following equation.
[0021]
h = tan (1/60) × 39m
≒ 1.1cm
And about 4
Therefore, when the LED is not emitting light, the x mark is not visually recognized.
In addition, it was confirmed by experiment that when LED is not light-emitting, x mark cannot be visually recognized.

Moreover, although the case where the thing of diameter 3-5mm was used as an example was demonstrated as LED, it is not limited to this, If the LED and the insertion hole of LED are the magnitude | sizes which are not recognized by a driver at the time of non-light emission. Of course it is good.
Furthermore, although the case where the light emission color of the LED is red is used as an example, other colors may be used, and light emission control of each color LED is performed using a LED in which two or more chips are mounted. Needless to say, multicolor control can be achieved.
[0043]
In addition, about the mounting position of the front-back direction of LED, the case where it mounted according to the front surface position of a display surface was demonstrated to the example, However, It is not limited to this.
For example, the mounting position of the LED may be shifted rearward (back side) in order to make it less susceptible to the effects of sunlight or the light of a vehicle headlight.
Further, the arrangement position of the minute holes (LEDs) may be any position on the display symbol, but the situation of each preceding road can be clearly displayed by providing the position on the arrow indicating the course.
[0044]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, the present invention arranges a plurality of micro holes in a vertical and horizontal matrix form on the first display pattern formed on the plate-like or sheet-like predetermined member, and inside these micro holes, A plurality of LEDs for displaying a second display design such as an arbitrary sign design, a character or a symbol superimposed on the first display design at the time of light emission are inserted and arranged. When the LED does not emit light, the size is not visible to the occupant of the traveling vehicle, specifically 3 to 5 mm.
[0045]
Therefore, in each of these information display devices, only when the LED emits light, an arbitrary second display symbol is superimposed on the fixed first display symbol, and can be visually recognized by the occupant of the traveling vehicle in a dotted manner. The function of the guide sign defined by the signing instruction can be maintained, and the preceding road condition can be clearly displayed to the driver.
Further, unlike the prior art, there is no need to separately provide a variable display device, and the equipment cost can be greatly reduced. In addition, a new installation space is not required, and it can be easily installed even in a relatively small place.
