[Industrial application fields]
The present invention relates to an operation panel aimed at improving operability when operating an information terminal installed at an end of a table on which a user sits facing each other.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, in the restaurant industry such as izakaya, yakiniku restaurant, sushi restaurant, restaurant, etc., there are an increasing number of systems in which customers can receive orders while sitting at a table in conjunction with a point-of-sale information management system. This is a system in which a customer directly orders a menu using a touch panel type information terminal.
[0003]
In order to reduce the manpower as much as possible and eliminate the frustration of waiting time until the ordered product is completed, a table terminal having a touch panel and a display is attached to each table of the restaurant, and a menu is displayed on the terminal. When you use the touch panel to see the order, the ordered item and table are displayed on the order display panel in the kitchen, and the cook cooks the ordered item based on this display. Alternatively, there is a restaurant system that transports ordered items to a table for eating and drinking (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
[0004]
In addition, as a food and beverage ordering device in a restaurant that can order food and beverages from the guest seat to the kitchen room, the food and beverage information is displayed on one touch panel display provided in the center of the end of the table of the passenger seat, and the kitchen is operated by touch operation There is an ordering device that provides a monitor in a room and displays location information corresponding to a table on which an order has been placed. (For example, refer to Patent Document 2).
[0005]
Therefore, with the evolution of information terminals for restaurants, there is a high expectation that terminals that allow customers to enjoy fortune-telling and games during the waiting time for cooking will be useful for attracting customers and reducing store labor costs. Touch panel type information terminals include entertainment terminals that include content such as games and music, and self-order terminals that allow customers to order menus directly. In the example of entertainment terminals, the touch panel Touching the screen allows you to experience music, fortune-telling, and simple games. For this operation, a touch part is arranged on the screen of the touch panel so that the customer touches (for example, see Non-Patent Documents 1 and 2).
[0006]
Further, as a two-player game using a touch panel, there is a game in which a first player and a second player play a game alternately in the case of a touch panel that cannot detect a plurality of points at the same time. This is displayed when the operation of the first player is possible, the fact that the second player is waiting for the turn is displayed, and the display of waiting for the turn is the entire screen area on the player side waiting for the turn. When the player is playing for two players, one operation cannot be performed (see, for example, Patent Document 3).

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In a restaurant such as the above-mentioned family restaurant, with a method of placing a touch panel display in each table of a guest table and placing an order, spilling food or water on the table surface, or arranging dishes on the table surface There are various inconveniences such as the need to place a display for the capacity of the audience seat.
[0009]
In addition, in a touch panel display that stands up at the center of the table of the passenger seat, when providing a game that requires real-time operation in earnest, the customer sits across the table, and the touch panel display is at the center of the table edge. Therefore, it is difficult to operate while viewing the touch panel surface from an oblique direction. This is not a concern for content that does not focus much on operations, but in the case of playing a game that requires reflexes, it is necessary to improve the operability of the operation unit of the touch panel. At the same time, it is necessary to make it possible to operate under the same conditions for customers holding the table on the left and right of the operation panel.
[0010]
Furthermore, when playing two-player games alternately, darkening the operation area on the player side that cannot be operated in the waiting order makes it difficult for the waiting player to see his area, Not only is it inconvenient to think about strategy, but it is not good for the eyes to see the area that has become too dark.
In the present invention, in view of the above-described problems, the operability of the touch panel display that is easy to operate on the same condition as the customer facing the table without taking the place of the table of the audience seats is provided, and waiting for the turn. In this case, the purpose is to make it possible to see the waiting area as usual.
[0011]
In the present invention, in order to solve the above-mentioned object, in the invention described in claim 1, the image display surface is touched. The image display surfaceAn image display device equipped with a touch panel that can directly input the indicated position is erected at the center edge of the table,SaidTwo operators across the tableFor the image display surfaceIn a shared information terminal that operates at an angle,
A rectangular play area disposed at the center of the image display surface, a pair of oblique operation areas disposed at a left-right symmetric position outside the play area and leaning against the play area; On the image display surface, at least one operation unit arranged on the operation region, and a character that can be moved in the play region by each operator operating the operation unit.It was set as the information terminal with a touch panel characterized by displaying. ThisBecause the operation area is slanted,Operator who holds the screen at an angleAs a sensation of visually observing the operation area, it can be supplemented with a sensation in which the operation unit on the operation area is arranged vertically.
[0012]
Further, in order to achieve the above object, in the invention according to
[0013]
In order to achieve the above objective,The operation area according to claim 1 or 2, wherein an operation unit having a low use frequency is arranged at a position close to the line of sight of the operator on the image display surface, and the use frequency is below the operation unit having a low use frequency. An information terminal with a touch panel is provided, which displays the oblique operation region with a high operation unit. As a result, since the operation buttons with low usage frequency can be confirmed with the eyes, an operation error is unlikely to occur, and the operation buttons with high usage frequency are in a position where they can be easily touched by hand, so that the operability is good.
[0020]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an embodiment of a touch panel having an oblique operation unit according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to examples illustrated in the drawings.
[0021]
【Example】
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a perspective view in which two customers are sitting across a table on which an information terminal is provided, and FIG. 2 is a schematic plan view of the same.
In restaurants such as restaurants, coffee shops, and family restaurants, a typical customer table is generally a four-seat table or a two-seat table, and the present application is applicable to any table.

In the present application, an ultrasonic touch panel is used as the touch panel 12, and FIG. 4 is a plan view of the ultrasonic touch panel.
The ultrasonic touch panel 40 is made of a material that efficiently propagates surface acoustic waves and has a rectangular outer shape similar to that of a liquid crystal display.
[0027]
Assuming that the long side of the ultrasonic touch panel 40 is the X direction and the short side is the Y direction, a plurality of reflective arrays 41 having an angle of 45 degrees to the right with respect to the Y axis are formed on the upper side and the right side ( (X axis). A plurality of

[0029]
Here, the operation principle of the ultrasonic touch panel will be described. The ultrasonic touch panel 40 utilizes a phenomenon in which an object such as a finger that contacts the panel surface absorbs surface acoustic waves generated on the panel surface. When an electrical signal having a predetermined frequency is applied to the
[0030]
FIG. 5 shows a waveform diagram of a received signal in the ultrasonic touch panel, and the principle of touch position detection will be described with FIG.
The surface acoustic wave transmitted from the
The degree to which surface acoustic waves are absorbed by touch is directly related to the contact area with the panel surface, and the contact area is proportional to the touch pressure in the case of an elastic object such as a finger.
[0031]
When the point B is touched with a finger, the surface acoustic wave passing through the touch time is partially absorbed by the finger and received as a signal weakened in the reception waveform of the reception signal of the X-axis receiver 46. The weakened signal is generated and can be grasped at an accurate elapsed time related to the touch position.
By performing this alternately on the X axis and the Y axis, the plane position on the touch panel can be specified.
[0032]
FIG. 6 shows a flowchart of input detection of the ultrasonic touch panel, and touch input will be described. The touch panel surface is attached to the screen of the liquid crystal display, and the user touches an arbitrary position on the touch panel surface (step 1). Then, since the surface acoustic wave is transmitted from the ultrasonic transducer to the touch panel surface, the received signal of the surface acoustic wave at the touched point is weakened and received by the ultrasonic receiving element, and the elapsed time of the weakened received signal is calculated. The position touched is recognized by grasping with the X axis and the Y axis (step 2).
[0033]
Based on this, the input value is converted into a mouse input value based on a preset correction value (step 3), and the mouse coordinates are the same as the coordinates on the image display. Since it can be processed, an accurate position is grasped (step 4).
[0034]
Here, a game generally called a fallen puzzle game will be described taking a game that requires reflexes as an example.
When the user touches a desired button image from the menu screen, the screen is switched to the screen of the selected content.

[0052]
If the touch prohibition mark is a general touch panel type input device, it is effective even if the operation unit is not oblique. Since a general touch panel can only detect one location at the same time and touches multiple locations at the same time in simultaneous play, it is necessary to always be able to press only one location in order to invalidate this. It is.
[0053]
The opponent operates by operating the falling
While the user cannot operate, it is possible to determine the type of the next appearing character 61 and the cut-off
[0054]
The above explanation is basically a game in which two players are operated alternately to play, but when playing alone with the opponent as a computer, the CPU is in charge of the opposite operation area, and the player vs. CPU It becomes a model. In this case, the player decides whether to use the left or right game area, so that the operation area on the opposite side becomes unnecessary and is not displayed, and the operation area is always displayed on the player side. The operation is performed when only the falling characters falling in the play area are displayed.
[0055]
As mentioned above, although the operation part from both sides in the table | surface panel provided in the table edge center of the restaurant etc. which sits on both sides of a table was described, this is not only the type which sits on both sides of a table, but, for example, a school etc. It can also be applied to the operation when two people share one desktop panel and operate each desk in the center of the desk facing the front of the desktop panel. Even in this case, the two operators are in a position to hold the desktop panel diagonally, so that the operator's hand is pushed out diagonally to the desktop panel and along the arm when the elbow is used as a fulcrum. Thus, the operation area can be operated more naturally if it is arranged obliquely as in the present application.
[0056]
The diagonal inclination of the operation area displayed on the left and right sides of the desktop panel is determined by the positional relationship between the two persons sitting on the table. For example, if the table width is wide and the distance between the two people sitting between the table and the touch panel is long, the tilt of the operation area is large because the body is tilted and the hand is stretched when operating each other. Easy to operate.
On the other hand, if the table width is narrow and the distance between the two people sitting across the table and the touch panel is relatively close, it is not necessary to tilt the body so much and the hands that operate the operation area do not need to be tilted too much. Therefore, the inclination of the operation area is reduced.
[0057]
FIG. 9 shows a layout according to the frequency of use of various buttons on a standing desktop panel. For the
In this case, the
[0058]
By doing so, it can be confirmed with the eyes, so that an operation error is unlikely to occur. In this way, the entire operation area is arranged obliquely left and right so that an operator who operates from both sides of the desktop panel is inclined and easy to operate. As a result, the operability of a game operation requiring an instantaneous determination operation such as a real-time game is improved, and fatigue is reduced. Here, the operation buttons that are not frequently used may be located on the left or right of the reach of the hand, not on the upper part if the finger of the hand does not reach easily, or on the lower side if it is within the range where the line of sight does not reach.
[0059]
FIG. 10 shows a plan view in which the operation panel of the information terminal is incorporated on the round table surface, and the operation area in this case will be described.

[0062]
In any case, when the operator visually recognizes the operation area, if the body such as the human head or the arm of the operating hand is not perpendicular to the display screen due to the installation position of the touch panel, tilt the operation area. The human head and arms are almost parallel to the body so that natural operations can be performed.
[0063]
Furthermore, in the description of the present application, an ultrasonic touch panel is used for the panel. However, the application of the present application is not limited to this, and it is a finger that is integrated with a display device such as a liquid crystal display or a CRT. It is also possible to use a touch panel of various methods (resistance film method, capacitance method, infrared method, etc.) that can be input. Of course, this application is applicable also to the touch panel of pen input.
[0064]
In the present application, the two-player game has been described as a method in which two people operate alternately. However, using a touch panel having independent input areas on the left and right in the same touch panel increases the cost, but two people can operate simultaneously. Is also possible. In the case where there are four operators shown in FIG. 10, simultaneous operation by four persons is possible by using a touch panel having an independent input area for each operation area. In this case, it is not necessary to display the touch prohibition mark.

When the effects of the invention of the present application are described, in a restaurant or the like, when an information area is shared by a plurality of people and a game or the like requiring real-time operation is performed, the operation area is arranged obliquely. Even if the person operates the touch panel surface from an oblique direction, it is easy to operate without feeling uncomfortable. Furthermore, an operator in any seat can operate under the same conditions.
[0066]
Furthermore, in the operation area, the operation unit having a high operation frequency is arranged at a position where the hand can be easily touched, so that the operator can be easily touched and the hand is not tired.
[0067]
Further, when the game for two players is alternately performed, it is possible to know that the operation cannot be performed by displaying an operation prohibition mark in the operation area on the player side which cannot be operated in the waiting order. Moreover, you can see your play area while waiting for a turn, and you can plan the next strategy.
