Description
【0001】

[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the above-described torsion beam suspension, the vicinity of the welded portion of the stabilizer is the weakest portion.
The reason is that in the torsion beam type suspension, the stabilizer extends linearly inside the beam, and both ends thereof are fixed to both ends of the gusset or the trailing arm. Therefore, the connection point of the stabilizer to the torsion beam or the trailing arm is located on the inner side (inner surface) of the U-shaped cross section of the torsion beam. In general, the shear center of a longitudinal member having a U-shaped cross section exists on the closed side (generally the outer side) of the cross section. Therefore, in the torsion beam suspension, the connecting portion between the stabilizer and the torsion beam is provided at a position away from the shear center of the torsion beam.
[0005]
For this reason, when torsional deformation occurs in the torsion beam, rotational displacement occurs in the connecting portions with the stabilizers at both ends of the torsion beam in different directions around the shear center. As a result, a load in the pulling direction of the stabilizer acts on these connecting portions, material fatigue or the like occurs in the connecting portions, and the durability of the torsion beam axle decreases. In addition, because the stabilizer is welded, the stress and stress concentration sites vary greatly depending on the presence or absence of the stabilizer and the diameter of the stabilizer, so each strength durability test must be performed for each specification, and the development man-hours And a lot of confirmation man-hours are taken.
[0006]
The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a torsion beam suspension structure having a large mounting rigidity.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention torsion beam type suspension structure in order to achieve the above object, a pair of right and left trailing arms that are swingably supported via a bush to the vehicle body, the pair of left and right trailing extends in the vehicle width direction In a torsion beam suspension structure comprising a torsion beam having a substantially U-shaped cross section for connecting arms at the vehicle longitudinal direction intermediate portion, and a stabilizer disposed along the torsion beam,
