【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、ベランダやテラスに好適に用いられる開口部装置、及び該開口部装置において、異なる厚さの床材に同一サッシ下枠を兼用する方法に関する。

【従来の技術】
室内側からベランダやテラスに出入りすることが可能な開口部装置において、床材の厚さは採用される施工方法により異なるものである。例えば在来工法では、床材の典型的な厚さは40mmである。一方、最近建設数の多い2×4(ツーバイフォー)工法では27mmとされている。サッシ下枠の厚さは通常決められたものである。一方、床材の端部と、下枠との隙間からは雨水等が侵入しやすく、これを許すと床材が早期に劣化して望ましくない。

例えば、図8に示す在来工法の場合、床材81の厚さは40mmと決まっているので、下枠82の高さはこれに合わせて、床材81上面の室外側と下枠82の上面とを覆うカバー部材83を両者の上面に配置して、ねじ釘84により固定している。このようにして、床材81の室内側端部と下枠82の室内側端部との隙間から雨水等が侵入して、内部で床材81(主として木材で形成されることが多い。)が劣化するのを防止している。

また、床材の厚さが変化する場合、サッシ下枠の形状を一定の高さにするとサッシ下枠と、床材との間には段差が生じる。特に床材の高さが下枠より高い場合、床材の木口が露出する。さまざまな厚さの床材に対応し、上記露出する木口や、施工上必然的に生じる該木口と下枠との隙間を隠蔽するために床材の室外側端面に断面「L」字状のアングル材が使用されている。このように異なる厚さの床材に一定の高さの下枠を兼用しようとする場合、下枠の高さは通常最も使用頻度の高い床材厚さ、すなわち上記した2×4(ツーバイフォー)工法の床材厚さ27mmに合わせて設定される。図9(b)は、床材の厚さが27mmの場合を示すものである。床材91bの室外側の端部上面及び端面は、断面形状「L」字型アングル材93にて覆われ、「L」字型アングル材93はねじ釘96にて床材91bに固定されている。なお、「L」字型アングル材93の形状を明確なものとするために、図9(b)の右下部の四辺形枠内に「L」字型アングル材93の断面形状を示す。「L」字型アングル材93の室外側端部と下枠92の上面室内側端部とを拡大して示すのが図9(b)左上部に円形に囲まれて参照符号Bで表されている図である。「L」字型アングル材93の上面は下枠92の上面より僅かに高くなるように設定されており、この段差を埋めるようにコーキング剤等によるシーリング94bが施されている。

一方、図9(a)は、床材91aの厚さが下枠92の高さより小さい場合を示している。この場合「L」字型アングル材93の下面にスペーサ95を入れ込んで下枠92との高さの違いを調整している。また図9(c)は、床材91cの厚さが下枠92の高さより大きい場合を示している。この場合「L」字型アングル材93の上面は、下枠92の上面より高くなるので、生じた段差の部分にコーキング剤等によるシーリング94cが施されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、上記の「L」字型アングル材93と下枠92との上面の間を、コーキング剤等を用いてシーリングの施工をするのに、手間がかかるという問題があった。

そこで、本発明は、シーリングする必要がない、異なる厚さの床材に同一サッシ下枠を兼用する方法、及び開口部装置を提供することを課題とする。

請求項1の発明は、異なる厚さの床材(49、69、79a、79b)に同一サッシ下枠(2b)を兼用する方法であって、下枠の室内寄り上面に嵌合溝(250)を設けるとともに、予め、下面の一端部側に嵌合溝に嵌入する嵌入部(42)を備えるとともに上面側が少なくとも嵌合溝と床材の室外側端部上面を覆うことのできる平面を有する平面部材(40)と、平面部と垂下部とを備えて、床材室外側端部上面及び室外側端面を覆うアングル材(60)と、嵌合溝を覆うように嵌合溝に嵌合される溝蓋(65)とを備え、
(1)床材上面と下枠上面との高さが同一の時は、平面部材の下面側嵌入部を下枠の嵌合溝に嵌入して平面部材にて嵌合溝と床材の室外側端部上面とを同時に覆い、
(2)床材上面の高さが下枠上面より高い場合には、床材の室外側端部にアングル材を取り付けるとともに、下枠の嵌合溝には溝蓋を嵌合させる、ことを特徴とする、異なる厚さの床材に同一サッシ下枠を兼用する方法を提供して前記課題を解決する。

以下本発明を図面に示す実施形態に基づき説明する。図1は、本発明の開口部装置を室内側視点より示す正面図である。図1において、開口部装置1はテラスドア等のドア装置で、開口部装置1は複層ガラスを備え、樹脂アルミ複合サッシドアとして構成されている。この開口部装置1は、建物の躯体の開口に取り付けられる枠体2と、この枠体2内に室外側に開閉可能に戸体4が取り付けられている。前記枠体2は、上枠2a、下枠2bおよび左右の縦枠2c、2dにより四方枠状に形成されている。上枠2aおよび左右の縦枠2c、2dは、樹脂アルミ複合サッシからなり、略同一断面形状に形成されている。下枠2bは、押出し成型されたアルミニウムサッシにより形成されている。
