Description

【0001】

[Industrial technical field]
The present invention relates to an orthodontic apparatus, and more particularly to a locking apparatus for fixing an orthodontic wire such as an arch wire or a paratal bar to an attachment body fixed to a support tooth.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, when orthodontic is performed using orthodontic wires, especially arch wires, an attachment body in which cylindrical tubes are juxtaposed to the surface of a band fitted to a molar tooth as a support tooth is fixed. The archwire is fixed by inserting both leg pieces of the archwire into the tube.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the conventional locking device described above has a drawback that the leg pieces are easily removed from the tube during the treatment operation, and thus cannot be put to practical use.
In view of the above-described problems, the present invention is intended to provide a locking device that can easily and surely fix an orthodontic wire to an attachment body and has a strength that can withstand repeated use.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In the present invention, in order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the two leg pieces of the straightening wire are respectively fitted into the pair of tubes of the attachment body fixed to the support teeth, and the wire is fixed. In the orthodontic apparatus, the lower end of each tube of the mounting body is provided with a notch groove reaching the through-hole, and a locking groove is provided at the front lower part of both leg pieces of the orthodontic wire, and between the leg pieces. The center part of the lock spring formed with the locking parts on both the left and right sides thereof is pivotally attached to the shaft, and when the leg pieces are inserted into the tube, the locking parts of the lock spring are notched. The straightening wire can be fixed to the attachment body by engaging with the locking groove of the leg piece located in the groove.
[0005]
In addition, on the upper surface between both tubes of the mounting body, a lock plate provided with locking portions that can be fitted into the notch grooves on both the left and right ends is slidably attached, and leg pieces are inserted into the tubes. In some cases, the correction wire may be fixed to the attachment body by engaging the locking portion of the lock plate with the locking groove of the leg piece located in the notch groove.
[0006]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
[Example 1]
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings.
In FIG. 1 to FIG. 4, reference numeral 10 denotes an arch wire, and square leg pieces 11, 11 are arranged near the one end of the arch wire in a direction perpendicular to the arch wire at a predetermined interval. Locking grooves 12 and 12 are provided on one side of the tip portion of each.
[0007]
Reference numeral 13 denotes a lock spring formed of an elastic wire, which has a central portion 14 bent into a U shape and slightly bent at both ends to form locking portions 15 and 15 respectively.
Reference numeral 16 denotes an elastic clamping piece provided between the leg pieces 11 of the arch wire 10, which holds the central portion 14 of the lock spring 13 so as to be rotatable, and by raising and lowering the lock spring 13. Both the locking portions 15 and 15 can be engaged and disengaged in the respective locking grooves 12 and 12, respectively.
[0008]
Reference numeral 20 denotes a mounting body, on the front surface of which tubes 21 and 21 are integrally arranged at the same interval as the leg pieces 11 and 11, and the tubes 21 and 21 are vertically oriented on the inner side. The rectangular through holes 23 are formed respectively. Further, in the lower part on the front side of each tube 21, 21, lateral cutout grooves 25, 25 reaching the through holes 23 are provided at positions corresponding to the locking grooves 12, 12 when the leg pieces 11, 11 are fitted. Each is formed. Thus, the locking portion 15 of the lock spring 13 is fitted into the notch groove 25 and engages with the locking groove 12.
[0009]
In this embodiment, when both leg pieces 11 and 11 of the archwire 10 are fitted and inserted into the tubes 21 and 21, respectively, first, the lock springs 13 elastically supported by the holding pieces 16 are rotated. The locking part 15 is separated from the locking groove 12.
Thus, after the leg pieces 11 and 11 of the arch wire 10 are fitted into the tubes 21 and 21, respectively, the lock springs 13 are rotated and the respective locking portions 15 are fitted into the notch grooves 25 of the tubes. Since the locking portion 15 of the lock spring is engaged with the locking groove 12 of the piece 11, the arch wire 10 is reliably locked to the attachment body 20.
Thus, when the leg pieces 11 and 11 are removed, if the lock spring 13 is rotated against the elasticity at the pin tip, the locking portion 15 is detached from the locking groove 12, so that the arch wire 10 is attached. It can be easily extracted from the body 20.
[0010]
[Example 2]
In the present embodiment, as shown in FIGS. 5 to 8, the archwire 10 is provided with locking grooves 12, 12 at the tip portions of both leg pieces 11, 11, respectively.
Further, the attachment body 30 is provided with lateral cutout grooves 33, 33 reaching the through holes 32 in the lower portions of the tubes 31, 31, respectively.
[0011]
Reference numeral 40 denotes a lock plate attached to the upper surface of the attachment body 30 between the tubes 31 and 31. The slide portion 41 is bent in a bowl shape, and the locking portions 42 and 43 are bent and extended at the upper and lower sides. It is made up of.
The slide portion 41 is supported by a support piece 51 protruding at the front center portion of the presser plate 50 provided between the tubes 31 of the attachment body 32, and is held so as to be slidable between the tubes in the left-right direction. ing.
The locking portions 42 and 43 are fitted into the notch grooves 33 and 33 of the tube, respectively, and a notch groove portion having a width slightly wider than the diameter of the through hole 32 of the tube is provided inside one of the locking portions 43. 44 is provided.
[0012]
Thus, when the slide portion 41 of the lock plate 40 is moved until the left side portion 45 of the lock plate 40 comes into contact with the outer side surface of the left tube 31, the outer end portions of both the locking portions 42 and 43 are positioned in the through holes 32, respectively. In addition, when the right side 46 of the slide part 41 is moved until it contacts the outer surface of the right tube 31, the outer end of the left side locking part 42 is detached from the inside of the through hole 32 of the left tube. Thus, the outer end portion of the right engaging portion 43 is also detached from the through hole 32 of the right tube so that the notch groove portion 44 can be positioned in the through hole 32.
[0013]
Thus, in this embodiment, the leg pieces 11 and 11 of the archwire 10 are inserted into the tubes 31 and 31, respectively, and then the lock plate 41 is slid so that the left side portion 45 of the left tube 31 is When hitting the outer surface, the outer end portions of both the locking portions 42 and 43 are simultaneously engaged with the locking grooves 12 and 12 of the arch wire 10, so that the arch wire 10 is securely locked to the attachment body 30.
[0014]
Further, when the leg pieces 11 and 11 are extracted, when the lock plate 41 is slid to the right side and the right side portion 46 comes into contact with the outer side surface of the right tube 31, the outer end portions of both the locking portions 42 and 43 are archwires. The archwire 10 can be easily pulled out from the attachment body 30 because the archwire 10 is detached simultaneously from the ten locking grooves 12.
[0015]
In each of the above-described embodiments, an example in which an arch wire is used as an orthodontic wire has been described. However, the lock device can also be used when another orthodontic wire such as a paratalbar is used.
[0016]
【The invention's effect】
In the present invention, since it is configured as described above, an orthodontic wire such as an arch wire can be reliably fixed to an attachment body fixed to a support tooth and can be easily removed. Corrective work can be performed very smoothly.
[0017]
Thus, since both the leg pieces of the arch wire are fixed to the mounting body at the same time with a single lock spring or lock plate, it has sufficient strength to withstand repeated use, and the arch wire can be used during the correction period. There is no risk of the wires coming off, and orthodontic treatment can be performed with peace of mind.
[0018]
In particular, by configuring as in claim 1, the archwire can be securely fixed with an extremely simple device. Further, by configuring as in claim 2, the archwire can be locked and released very easily, and there is also an advantage that the correction work can be performed more smoothly.
