本発明は、レンジフードファン用のグリスフィルタに関するものである。

【技術背景】
台所に設置された加熱調理器具の上方に設置されるレンジフードファンには、前面開口部に油煙、廃ガス等に含まれる油脂分を捕捉するグリスフィルタが装着される。
そのグリスフィルタとして、旧来のグリスフィルタに比べて少ない通気抵抗でありながら、高い油捕捉効率が得られ、清掃性にも優れている所謂スロットフィルタが知られている(例えば、実公平2−43456号参照)。
このスロットフィルタは、金属薄板に所定のピッチで多数のスリットを並設し、そのスリット列を数列形成し、それら各列におけるスリット相互で区画された舌片全体を一方向に屈折傾斜させて通気口を多数設けた構造になっている。
このスロットフィルタは、舌片の傾斜によって通気口が斜めに開口されているため、調理時に発生する油煙、熱気等の廃ガスが通気口をストレートに通過せずに蛇行して通過するため油捕集効率がパンチングメタルよりも高く、且つ金属薄板から切り起こし形成しているため、ラス網や金網等に比べて清掃性が良く、長期に亘って安定した機能を発揮することができる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、近年において、環境問題を要因として前述するスロットフィルタよりも油捕集効率が効率的で、しかも居住性を向上させるために排気時の風切り音がより小さなフィルターが要望されるようになっている。
しかし、現実問題として、その要望に答えることができないのが現状であった。
本発明は、上記従来事情に鑑みてなされたもので、その目的とする処は、従来のスロットフィルターよりも油捕集効率が高効率で、排気時の騒音も低減するレンジフードファン用グリスフィルタを提供することにある。

本発明者等は油捕集効率の向上及び排気時の騒音の低減を目的として2層式のスロットフィルタは勿論のこと、2層のスロットフィルタ間に有効と推測される各種フィルタ材を介在する等して鋭意研究を行った処、スロットフィルタと、エキスパンドメタルとを併用し、且つそのエキスパンドメタルの菱形状開口部の長手寸法、短手寸法をある寸法未満にすると油捕集効率を向上させ、しかも排気時の風切り音を低減できることを知見し、本発明に至った。即ち、本発明はフィルタ(a1)(a1)2枚間に1枚または2枚のエキスパンドメタル(a2)を介在した3層または4層のサンドイッチ構造とし、前記フィルタ(a1)(a1)は、金属薄板に横長状のスリット(1)を数ミリピッチで縦方向に複数個並設し、この複数個併設されたスリット(1)の列(2)を1単位として数列設けると共に、前記スリット(1)相互で区画される細長な板片(3)を一方向に屈折傾斜させて細長矩形な通気口(4)を多数形成した構造とし、前記エキスパンドメタル(a2)はその菱形状開口部Oの長手寸法LWを1.5mm未満、短手寸法SWを0.75mm未満とする網目構成にしたものであることを要旨とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
次に、本発明の実施の形態を図面に基づいて説明する。
図1乃至図5は本実施の形態のレンジフードファン用グリスフィルタAを示している。

このレンジフードファン用グリスフィルタAは図1に示すように2枚のフィルタa1、a1間に1枚または2枚のエキスパンドメタルa2を介在挟持した構造にしてある。

フィルタa1は、所定の大きさの金属製の薄板に横幅を20mm程度とする横長状のスリット1を2〜5mmのピッチで縦方向に複数個(本実施の形態では8個)並設し、そうしたスリット列2を1単位として図1に示すように縦横に碁盤目状に設けると共に、スリット1、1相互で区画される細長な片3を一方向に屈折傾斜させて細長矩形な通気口4を形成している(後述ではスロットフィルタと称する)(図2参照)。

エキスパンドメタルa2は、図4に示するように板厚tを0.1mm、長手寸法LWを1.5mm未満、短手寸法SWを0.75mm未満にした菱形状開口部Oの網目構造を有するものを、前記スロットフィルタa1、a1内に介在挟持してある。
本実施の形態では長手寸法LWを1.0mm、短手寸法SWを0.5mmとしたエキスパンドメタルa2を1枚または2枚、スロットフィルタa1、a1間に介在挟持している。

斯様に構成されたレンジフードファン用グリスフィルタAは図3に示すようにフード本体100 の送風装置101 下位の仕切板102 先端と天板103 とに設けた桟104 とに亘って係脱可能に支承される。

図5は本発明のグリスフィルタと他のフィルタとの油捕集効率、排気時の騒音値、風量等を比較した実験結果(表)である。風量m3 /h及び騒音値dB(A)の測定値において、/を境にして左側が商用電源を50ヘルツ、右側が商用電源を60ヘルツにした場合である。
実験に使用したフィルターは、2層式のスロットフィルター(実験例(a))、2枚のスロットフィルター間に5mm厚のポリエステルマットを介在したもの(実験例(b))、2枚のスロットフィルター間に菱形状開口部Oの長手寸法LW、短手寸法SWが各々異なるエキスパンドメタルを介在したもの(実験例(c)(d)(e)(f)(g))等多種である。
これによると、2枚のフィルタa1、a1間にエキスパンドメタルa2を挟持したエキスパンドメタル介在タイプのフィルタにおいて、エキスパンドメタルa2の網目の大きさを実験例(e)寸法にした場合に、前記実験例(a)、(b)と同等の油捕集効率しか達成できなかった。
そして、その実験例(e)の網目よりも細かな網目構造(菱形状開口部Oの長手寸法LWを1.5mm未満、短手寸法SWを0.75mm未満)のエキスパンドメタルa2を1層または2層介在する(実験例(f)(g)(下記では本発明例)と称する)と、図5に示すように油捕集効率が高効率となり、また排気時の騒音値dB(A)も実験例(e)は勿論のこと、実験例(a)(b)よりも低減する値を示した。
尚、実験例(e)よりも網目が粗いエキスパンドメタルa2を介在する(実験例(c)(d))と、油捕集効率が低下するばかりでなく、排気時の騒音値dB(A)も低減できず、好ましい結果が得られなかった。
風量値、騒音値の測定はJIS C 9603によるものである。

ここで、本発明例(f)(g)の油捕集効率が高効率になる要因は、介在されるエキスパンドメタルa2の菱形状開口部Oの長手寸法LWが1.5mm未満、短手寸法SWが0.75mm未満の網目構成まで小さくなると、スロットフィルタa1、a1間の廃ガス通過経路に油脂分を効果的に捕捉させる捕捉部が形成されるからであろうと推測される。

【発明の効果】
本発明は以上のようにフィルタ(a1)(a1)2枚間に1枚または2枚のエキスパンドメタル(a2)を介在した3層または4層のサンドイッチ構造とし、前記フィルタ(a1)(a1)を、金属薄板に横長状のスリット(1)を数ミリピッチで縦方向に複数個並設し、この複数個併設されたスリット(1)の列(2)を1単位として数列設けると共に、前記スリット(1)相互で区画される細長な板片(3)を一方向に屈折傾斜させて細長矩形な通気口(4)を多数形成した構造とし、前記エキスパンドメタル(a2)を、その菱形状開口部Oの長手寸法LWを1.5mm未満、短手寸法SWを0.75mm未満とする網目構成にしたから、図5に示す表で明らかなように所謂スロットフィルタをたんに使用した場合やスロットフィルタ間にポリエステルマットを介在した場合、菱形状開口部の長手寸法1.5mm以上、短手寸法0.75mm以上のエキスパンドメタルを介在した場合の各種の実験例に比べて高い油捕集効率と共に、通過時の風切り音も小さくなるという好結果が得られた。故に、近年の厳しくなる環境問題に好適であり、しかも台所の使用感(居住性)も向上するグリスフィルタを新規に提供できた。
