Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a cardboard cushioning member for protecting edges and corners when transporting and storing large flat materials such as doors and panels.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, when transporting large and flat materials such as doors and panels, in order to protect the sides and corners of those materials, and to protect buildings and the like in the transportation route, Buffer members called edge guards and corner guards are attached to the sides and corners. Conventionally, those made of foamed polystyrene or cardboard are used for such edge guards and corner guards. As the edge guards and corner guards made of polystyrene foam, those formed in advance according to the shape of the edge or corner of the material to be protected are used. Moreover, the conventional edge guard and corner guard made from corrugated cardboard use what was laminated | stacked several cardboards, and was fixed with the adhesive agent (for example, refer patent document 1).
[Patent Document 1]
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 9-165072
On the other hand, as for a relatively small or light material, an assembly-type cardboard cushioning material is used (for example, see Patent Document 2).
[Patent Document 2]
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 5-51068 ([0010], [0011], FIG. 5)
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Styrofoam edge guards and corner guards have excellent buffering performance, but cannot be reused as resources after use. is there.
[0005]
The conventional laminated cardboard edge guard and corner guard are disadvantageous in terms of manufacturing cost because they use a large amount of corrugated cardboard as a raw material. Moreover, since the laminated corrugated cardboard is fixed by an adhesive, it cannot be folded in the same manner as those made of polystyrene foam. For this reason, these edge guards and corner guards themselves are bulky, and there is a problem that the volumetric efficiency when transporting and storing them is poor and the distribution cost is high.
[0006]
On the other hand, the assembly-type cardboard cushioning member described in Patent Document 2 does not have a cushioning capacity to protect large materials such as doors and panels.
[0007]
The present invention has been made to solve such problems, and the object of the present invention is to fold a corrugated cardboard that has sufficient shock-absorbing capacity even when used for large heavy-weight materials. The object of the present invention is to provide a tatami-type cushioning member (edge guard and corner guard).
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The folding protection cardboard cushioning member for edge protection according to the present invention made to solve the above problems is a cushioning member formed by folding and assembling the cardboard,
A column-shaped main body having a substantially U-shaped cross section for gripping the edge of a flat plate-shaped protected material on the open side;
A columnar buffer portion having a rectangular cross section provided on the closed side of the main body;
In the cross-sectional quadrangle of the buffer portion, a beam portion provided on the diagonal alternately in the longitudinal direction, and
It is characterized by having.
[0009]
Further, the corner protection folding cardboard cushioning member according to the present invention is characterized in that two units of the edge protection folding cardboard cushioning member are connected via a bent portion.
[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The edge protection folding cardboard cushioning member according to the present invention has a columnar shape. The open side of the U-shaped cross section is inserted into the edge of the flat plate-shaped material to be protected until the buffer portion hits the edge. Thereby, the buffer member of the present invention grips the edge of the material to be protected, and the buffer portion protects the edge. Since the beam portions are alternately provided on both diagonal lines of the buffer portion, the shock buffering portion has a high impact relaxation capability. Therefore, even if an object collides from the outside (or even if the material to be protected collides with something), the buffer part sufficiently reduces the impact and protects the edge (and the external object).
[0011]
【Example】
FIG. 1 shows a development view of an edge guard according to an embodiment of the present invention. Reference numeral 10 denotes the direction of the wavy line of the corrugated sheet inside the corrugated cardboard that is the raw material. Cut lines are provided in the portions 13 and 18 indicated by solid lines other than the contour lines, and the portions (tab insertion holes) 22 surrounded by the solid lines are punched out. A rough broken line indicates a mountain fold line when viewed from this surface, and a fine broken line indicates a valley fold line.
[0012]
Below, the assembly method of the edge guard of a present Example is demonstrated. First, the inner surface 17, the edge contact surface 15, and the beam portion 11 are folded inward by bending 180 ° along the cut line 18 and the fold line 19. After being bent 180 ° by the cut line 18, the two cardboards can be brought into close contact with each other in the immediate vicinity of the cut line 18 and the fold line 19. Similarly, the other side (the lower side in FIG. 1) is folded. Thereby, a substantially rectangular folded body as shown in FIG. 2 is formed. This state is called a knockdown state. In FIG. 2, the hatched portion indicates a portion where the cardboards are single, and the other portions are in a state where the cardboards are doubled. When the edge guard itself is transported or stored, the volume efficiency is greatly improved by setting the knock-down state.
[0013]
The outer side surface 20 and the inner side surface 17 may be bonded together after being bent by 180 ° along the cut line 18 and the fold line 19. By bonding, the knockdown state is stably maintained, and storage and transportation are facilitated. Moreover, since it does not vary, assembly described later becomes easy.
[0014]
As shown in FIG. 2, in the edge guard of the present embodiment, the edge contact surfaces 15 and the beam portions 11 on both sides are alternately arranged with no gap.
[0015]
Next, a method for assembling the edge guard from the knocked-down state of FIG. 2 will be described. First, in the upper left part of FIG. 2, valley folding is performed at the fold line 16 and the edge contact surface 15 is lifted by about 90 °. Furthermore, the beam part 11 is folded at an acute angle by folding at the cut line 13 and the folding line 14. Again, the cut line 13 facilitates bending to an acute angle. At this time, the tab 12 at the tip of the beam portion 11 is inserted into the tab insertion hole 22. The upper center part is also bent in the same manner. Then, the fold line 21 (FIG. 1) folds the valley. The other side (the lower part in FIG. 2) is bent in the same manner. Thereby, a substantially U-shaped main body is formed, and the cross section thereof is as shown in FIG. On the open side of the substantially U-shaped main body, two substantially parallel side surfaces 20 and 17 are formed. The side surfaces 20 and 17 and the edge contact surface 15 constitute a grip portion 31 that grips the edge of the material to be protected. Further, a rectangular buffer portion 32 is formed on the closed side of the substantially U-shaped main body, and the beam portions 11 exist on both diagonal lines thereof.
[0016]
As shown in FIG. 3, the bent portion 14 between the edge contact surface 15 and the beam portion 11 is fitted under the end portion 17 a of the folded inner side surface 17. That is, the beam portion 11 presses the bent portion 14 toward the end portion 17 a of the inner surface 17. For this reason, even if the whole main body is to be opened by the restoring force (spring back) at the folding line 21, the bent portion 14 is pressed by the end portion 17a and cannot be opened. Further, as described above, since the adjacent edge contact surfaces 15 are arranged without gaps, the edge contact surface 15 and the adjacent edge contact surface 15 in the state of FIG. It is difficult to move. As a result, the shape of the edge guard main body after being assembled in this way is securely held.
[0017]
The width of the edge contact surface 15 is determined according to the thickness of the material to be protected. If the width of the back surface 23 is wider than the edge contact surface 15 by two cardboard thicknesses, the folding angle at the fold line 21 is a right angle and both the outer surface 20 and both inner surfaces 17 are parallel, but the back surface 23 Actually, it is desirable to make the width of a little wider than that. By doing so, the fold angle at the fold line 21 becomes a slightly acute angle, and the gripping portion 31 can securely pinch the edge of the material to be protected so that the edge guard does not easily come off from the edge of the material to be protected. .
[0018]
The edge guard of the present embodiment may partially change the length of the edge contact surface 15 and the beam portion 11 in accordance with the shape of the material to be protected. Moreover, the edge contact surface 15 and the beam part 11 may not be provided, or the space | interval may be opened in the place with what protruded in the edge like the lock | rock part of a door. In this case, there is no action as described above that is difficult to move due to friction at the boundary between the edge contact surfaces 15, but there is an action that the bent portion 14 is pressed by the end portion 17a and cannot be opened. Even in this case, the shape of the edge guard body after assembly is reliably maintained.
[0019]
The edge guard of this embodiment assembled in this way is used by inserting the open portion into the edge of a protected material such as a door or panel. As described above, the grip portion 31 securely grips the edge of the material to be protected so that the edge guard does not easily come off the edge. And the buffer part 32 absorbs the impact from the outside. The rectangular cross section of the buffer portion 32 is alternately supported by the beam portions 11 at the two diagonal lines. The impact force on the corner supported by the beam portion 11 is dispersed by the beam portion 11, and the impact on the corner not supported by the beam portion 11 is absorbed by the depression of the corner. For this reason, the buffer part 32 of the edge guard which concerns on a present Example has the ideal buffer performance which has both intensity | strength and energy absorptivity.
[0020]
Next, a developed view of a corner guard which is another embodiment of the present invention is shown in FIG. The corner guard of this embodiment is basically one in which two units of the edge guard are connected and can be fixed by bending 90 °.
[0021]
The method of changing from the deployed state of FIG. 4 to the knocked-down state and the method of assembling the edge guard from the knocked-down state are substantially the same as the edge guard. In the corner guard of the present embodiment, both edge guard portions are then fixed substantially at right angles by bending both sides 90 ° at the corner fold line 24 and fitting the concave portions 26a and the convex portions 26b.
[0022]
FIG. 5 shows a state where the corner guard of this embodiment is assembled. As shown in FIG. 5, the corner guard according to the present embodiment grips the material to be protected by the substantially U-shaped gripping portion 31 including the edge contact surface 15 and the inner side surface 17 in the same manner as the edge guard. 23, the buffer part 32 which consists of the edge contact surface 15 and the outer side surface 20 absorbs the impact from the outside. The same is true in that the beam portions 11 alternately support two diagonal lines having a rectangular cross section of the buffer portion 32.
[0023]
Further, in the embodiment shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, both edge guards are fixed at 90 °. However, this may be fixed at an acute angle or an obtuse angle in accordance with the shape of the corner of the material to be protected. Moreover, you may enable it to mount | wear to the corner of arbitrary angles, without fixing.
[0024]
FIG. 6 shows a state in which the edge guard and corner guard of the above embodiment are attached to a flat plate-like protected material such as a door. These may be attached without a gap, or may be attached with an appropriate gap.
[0025]
【The invention's effect】
The edge / corner protecting foldable cardboard cushioning member according to the present invention can be manufactured from a single cardboard, and is easy to assemble. Since it can be assembled immediately at the time of use, it can be transported and stored in a substantially rectangular folded body (knock-down state). For this reason, space efficiency at the time of transportation and storage is good, and distribution costs can be suppressed.
[0026]
After being assembled as an edge guard / corner guard, when used, the beam part supports both diagonal lines of a square cross section of the buffer part. For this reason, with respect to the impact from the outside, at the corner where there is no beam portion, energy is appropriately absorbed to protect the protected material, and at the corner where the beam portion exists, the protected material is prevented from being impacted. .
[0027]
Since the edge guard / corner guard according to the present invention is made of cardboard, it can be disposed of as recycled paper after use.
