【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、犬や猫等のペットとヒトとが快適に共生することを目的としたペット専用空間の構成技術に関する。

【従来の技術】
近年では、ペットを室内飼育する飼い主が増加し、ペットとの入居が可能なマンションや、ペットの習性を考慮した内装を備えた住宅等が販売されている。しかし、一般的に室内飼育している犬や猫等のペットの生活の場は、ペットに専用のものではなく、ヒトとの共有であることが多い。ペットの生活の場は、リビングやキッチンが中心であることが多く、その床にペットのためのクッションや餌箱、トイレトレイ等が簡易的・一時的に設置されている。

ペットの生活においてペットの居住場所、すなわち、ある一定の場所において行う行為は、主に、食事、排泄、就寝がある。ペットを室内飼育する場合の多くは、以下に示すような現状がある。ペットの食事に関しては、住宅のリビングやキッチンなどにおけるヒトの動線上に、新聞紙やランチマットを敷き、その上にペットのための食事を入れた食器を置いている。水飲み食器は常設され、特に猫の場合は餌用食器も常設されていることが多い。しかし、ペットは習性上、水や餌を頻繁にこぼすため、食器の周辺が汚れやすく、頻繁に掃除が必要となる。従って、ペットとヒトとが快適に暮らすためには、掃除のし易い場所であってヒトの動線と重ならない食事場所の確保が必要となるペットの排泄に関しては、飼い主の目の届きやすいリビングやキッチン回りの床に、トイレトレイを設置し、ペットが独りで使用することができるようにしている。トイレトレイに敷かれるトイレシートは、衛生管理や、臭いの拡散を防止するために頻繁に取り替えられるが、それであっても、開放した空間であり特に換気機能が備えられていないために、臭いが室内に拡散してしまう。従って、ペットと飼い主とが快適に暮らすためには、臭いの発生源での脱臭機能を備えることが必要となる。ペットの就寝に関しては、ペットと飼い主との関係により異なるが、飼い主の蒲団で一緒に寝る、専用の蒲団・クッションで寝る、リビングの一部に置かれたケージやサークルの中で寝る、のうちいずれかの形態が主である。しかし、ペットの幼齢時、疾患時、老齢時等における就寝形態を考慮すると、ケージやサークル等は上記のいずれの就寝スタイルを採用する場合であっても、必要となる。ケージやサークルを住宅内に備えることは、設置場所、デザインとともに、インテリア性を損ねることになりがちである。従って、ペットのための就寝場所を備えるためには、省スペースであるとともに、リビングやキッチンに存在しても調和するデザイン性が必要となる。

また、ペットのためのもの（ペットフード、トイレシート、トイレ砂、ブラシ、シャンプー、リード、おもちゃ等）の収納は、主に、キッチンや玄関等に分散して収納されたり、収納場所がなく部屋の隅や廊下等に放置されたりしていることが多い。

上述の如く、ペットが室内飼育される現状のなかで、ペットと飼い主とが快適に暮らせるように、また、ペットを室内で愛玩飼育し易いように、近年では、住宅内にペットのための造りつけの空間を設けようとする考え方もある。

例えば、特許文献１に記載の技術では、犬等のペットをヒトの居住空間で愛玩飼育することができるように、ペット小屋の出入り口を住宅の室内側に開口した構造が提案されている。この技術では、ペット小屋と住宅とを連通することによって、ペットのための居住空間であるペット小屋と、ヒトのための居住空間である住宅とをペットが往来自在となるようにしたものであり、ペットとヒトとが生活空間を共用しながらもペットの専用空間が保持されている。しかし、ヒトや住宅の寿命と比較してペットの寿命は短く、また、ペットの生活の場は汚れ易く、ペット小屋の取り替えや建て直しが必要となるが、ペット小屋と住宅とを壁を貫いて連結すると、これらの工事に費用が嵩むことになる。

また、特許文献２に記載の技術では、猫が自由に出入りして遊んだり、日向ぼこしたり、休息したりすることができる高所居留スペースと、食事したり排泄したりすることができる生活スペースとを具備したペットコーナーが提案されている。このペットコーナーは、ペットのための窓のある小間を設け、ここに高所と低所に分ける棚を作ったものであり、猫が住宅内に設けられた小間で自由に居住することができるようにしたものである。また、特許文献３に記載の技術では、犬等のペットを一時的に隔離することのできるコーナーを備えた住宅が提案されている。このコーナーは、住宅内に檻や柵等で仕切ることのできる小間である。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
家族同様とはいえ、習性の異なる犬や猫等のペットと同じ空間を共有して一緒に暮らすためには、ペット専用の場所がないと、互いに不都合が多い。ペット共生仕様の住宅が、ヒトにもペットにも快適な住宅であるためには、ペット専用の場所作りが基本となる。そこで、ペットの専用場所としてのペットルームセットを備えるために、本発明では、ヒトの居住空間とペットの居住空間とを隔離することなく、また、互いの生活形態を尊重した居住形態とするために、ヒトの主たる生活の場である住宅のキッチンやリビングに開口する、ペットのための専用空間を造りつけ、ペットを「飼育する」というよりも「一緒に暮らす」という考えかたに基づいた、新しいペットの居住形態を提案する。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の解決しようとする課題は以上の如くであり、次にこの課題を解決するための手段を説明する。

即ち、請求項１においては、住宅の室内空間に向けて室内の壁部に開口する単数若しくは複数のブースを、前記壁部より反室内側であって住宅内に設け、電源供給機能装置、換気機能装置、及び照明機能装置のうち何れか一つの機能装置を備えた筒状の胴部と該胴部の後部を閉塞する後部カバーとに分割可能に構成された合成樹脂製のボックスを、前記胴部の開口を室内空間側に向けて前記ブースに着脱可能に内装し、前記ブースの開口縁に着脱可能な框を備えるとともに、前記框と前記ボックスの胴部の開口縁にパッキンを介挿したペットルームである。

請求項２においては、住宅の室内空間に向けて室内の壁部に開口する３つのブースを、前記壁部より反室内側であって住宅内に設け、筒状の胴部と該胴部の後部を閉塞する後部カバーとに分割可能に構成された合成樹脂製のボックスを、前記胴部の開口を室内空間側に向けて前記各ブースに着脱可能に内装し、前記ブースの開口縁に着脱可能な框を備えるとともに、前記框と前記ボックスの胴部の開口縁にパッキンを介挿し、前記３つのブースのうち、一のブースに電源供給機能装置を、他の一のブースに換気機能装置を、残りの一のブースに照明機能装置を、各々備えたペットルームである。

【発明の実施の形態】
次に、発明の実施の形態を説明する。図１は本発明の一実施例に係るペットルームの全体的な構成を示した正面図、図２はペットルームの配置の別実施例を示した正面図、図３はペットルームの配置の別実施例を示した正面図、図４はペットルームの配置の別実施例を示した斜視図である。図５はボックスを示す正面図、図６はボックスを示す側面図、図７はボックスを示す斜視図である。

本発明に係るペットルーム１０は、飼い主が「ペットを飼育する」のではなく、「ペットと一緒に暮らす」という考え方に基づいて発明されたものであり、住宅内においてヒトの主たる生活空間であるキッチンやリビング等に配置されるブース形状のものである。そして、ペットルーム１０は住宅の内装として造りつけられたものであり、住宅の特定場所に固設されたペットのための専用空間である。

このペットルーム１０を備えることにより、住宅内においてペットとヒトが共有する空間と、ペット専用の空間とを、それぞれ設けることができ、ペットの生活形態に応じて専用空間と共有空間とを使い分けることができるようになる。また、ペットの専用空間をヒトの生活空間と隔離することなく密接に連通した状態で設けることができる。これにより、ペットとヒトとの良好な関係を保持しながら、互いに快適に暮らすことのできる住宅となる。

図１に示す如く、本実施例に係るペットルーム１０は、リビングの壁に造りつけられた収納棚１３の下方の空間を利用して設けられており、３つのブース１１・１１・１１に分けられている。ペットルーム１０の上部空間を収納のための空間として有効に利用することで、不足しがちであるリビング回りの収納空間や、ペットグッズの収納空間を充実させることができる。

但し、本発明は本実施例に限定されるものではなく、図２に示す如く、ペットルーム１０を出窓の下の空間を利用して配置したり、図３に示す如く、階段の下の空間を利用して配置したり、或いは、図４に示す如く、ペットルーム１０を独立してカウンター棚状に形成し既存の住宅に備え付けることもできる。また、ペットルーム１０に備えられるブース１１の数は、本実施例の三つに限定されるものではなく、ペットルーム１０の配置される空間、ペットの種類や大きさ等に応じて、適宜数を変更させることができる。

図１に示す如く、ペットルーム１０としての３つのブース１１・１１・１１は、住宅内の部屋の壁部に造りつけられ、それぞれ箱状に形成され、室内側に向かって開口されて、この開口より反室内側、つまり、奥側へ箱状のブース１１を形成する。該箱状のブース１１は図１においては部屋の壁部に造りつけられた収納棚１３の下部空間に設けられている。ペットルーム１０を構成するブース１１・１１・１１の開口部は、ペットが出入り自在となるために十分な床から近い位置に配置されている。本実施例において各ブース１１・１１・１１は、図１の紙面右側から、就寝や休息のためのハウスブース１１（１１ａ）、食事のためのダイニングブース１１（１１ｂ）、排泄のためのトイレブース１１（１１ｃ）とされて、それぞれのブース１１は同形状であるが異なる機能が備えられている。

各ブース１１には、合成樹脂で形成されたボックス２０が着脱可能に嵌設され、ボックス２０の抜け止め及び装飾材としての機能を果たす框１２がブース１１・１１・１１の各開口縁、又は、連なったブース１１・１１・１１の外周に着脱可能に取り付けられている。ボックス２０及び框１２はいずれもブース１１より着脱可能とされている。これにより、ペットが生活することによりボックス２０や框１２が汚れたときに框１２を取り外してボックス２０をブース１１より抜き出し、丸洗いをすることができるようになり、清潔なペットのための専用空間を保持することが容易となる。さらに、ペット飼育中止時には、これらのボックス２０・２０・２０を簡単に撤去することが可能であり、ペットルーム１０としての各ブース１１・１１・１１を他の用途に転換して利用することができる。

また、ボックス２０及び框１２はいずれも取り替え可能としている。これは、ペットの習性により、ボックス２０や框１２の汚れがひどくなったり、また、ペットが噛んで変形したりすることが容易に想定されるためであり、これらのときに所望に応じて新規のボックス２０や框１２に取り替えることができるようにして便宜を図ったものである。

ここで、ブース１１に嵌設されるボックス２０の構造について説明する。図５乃至図７に示す如く、ボックス２０は、胴部を構成する本体ケース２２と、該本体ケース２２の後部に着脱可能に固定された後部カバー２３と、該本体ケース２２の後部カバー２３と反対側に取り付けられるパッキン２１とで構成されている。

前記パッキン２１は、本体ケース２２の前部の開口縁を覆う無端形状とされ、ブース１１にボックス２０を設置し框１２を取り付けた状態では、框１２に当接した状態となる。該パッキン２１により、框１２とボックス２０との間の間隙や、ボックス２０とブース１１内周との間の間隙が閉塞されることとなり、また、框１２とボックス２０との間の水密性が確保される。

前記本体ケース２２は、合成樹脂による筒状の一体成型品であり、側面には剛性を高めるためのリブ２２ａが形成され、また、底面には、水仕舞やマットのずれ防止のための段落ち部２２ｂが形成されている。使用状態では、段落ち部２２ｂには、保温用又は保冷用のマットやトイレトレイ等が嵌め込まれる。そして、本体ケース２２の上部には開口部２２ｃが形成されており、該開口部２２ｃより各ブース１１に応じて機能装置２４が取り付けられる。機能装置２４は、ボックス２０とブース１１内部との間隙を利用して配設されており、機能装置２４に付属のコードやダクト等はボックス２０とブース１１内部との間隙を利用して通される。なお、各機能装置２４については後述する。

前記後部カバー２３は、本体ケース２２の後部に脱着可能に嵌合接続されて、本体ケース２２と後部カバー２３とで、前開放であって後閉塞の箱体が形成されている。後部カバー２３も合成樹脂による一体成型品であり、本体ケース２２と同様に剛性を高めるためのリブ２３ａが形成されている。そして、本体ケース２２と後部カバー２３の接続部には、シール材が介されて、接続部よりボックス２０内部からの液体が漏れ出ることのないようにされている。

ボックス２０を、胴部となる本体ケース２２と、該本体ケース２２の後部を閉塞するための後部カバー２３とで構成することにより、ボックス２０を解体して洗浄することができるようになり、深型の一体的なボックス２０では手の届きにくい奥部まで洗浄することが容易となって、ペットルーム１０の清掃の簡易性を向上している。なお、ボックス２０は合成樹脂で構成されているため、解体して丸洗いすることができ、また、比較的汚れも落ちやすく、ボックス２０の洗浄が容易となるようにされている。また、ボックス２０を合成樹脂製品とすることで、水密性及び気密性が備えられて、ボックス２０内で発生した飲料用水や屎尿等の水分と、これらの臭いとが、ボックス２０の外部に漏れ出てブース１１に染みつくことのないようにされている。さらに、ボックス２０を解体して、前部と後部との両方が開放された状態の本体ケース２２とすることができるため、機能装置２４を取り付ける際の取り付け作業が容易となり、機能装置２４の組み付け性が向上される。

これに加え、前後方向に長いタイプのボックス２０を構成しようとする際に、本体ケース２２と後部カバー２３との間に、本体ケース２２と断面視同形状の伸長ケースを介在させることによって、ボックス２０の前後長を伸長させることができる。従って、本体ケース２２と後部カバー２３は同一形状のものを用意し、前後長の異なる伸長ケースを用意することで、前後長の異なるボックス２０のバリエーションを製造コストを抑えて備えることができる。

上述の如く構成されたボックス２０はブース１１内に嵌設されるが、この際に、ボックス２０の後面とブース１１の後壁との間には、防振材や吸音材、吸湿材等から成る介挿体１６・１６・・・を配置することができる。介挿体１６・１６・・・は、該介挿体１６・１６・・・の構成材による機能に加え、ペットがボックス２０内で暴れたときにボックス２０を位置固定する機能を有している。そして、ペットルーム１０に備えられる全てのボックス２０・２０・２０をブース１１・１１・１１内に嵌設した状態で、框１２をブース１１・１１・１１の開口部に取り付ける。

図１及び図６に示す如く、框１２は、ブース１１の開口縁を装飾するとともに、ブース１１に嵌設されたボックス２０が前方向へ抜け出ることのないように抜け止めとして機能している。框１２は組み立て式であり、施工主の所望に応じることのできるように、また、ペットルーム１０を配置する部屋のインテリア性を損ねることの無いよう、意匠が施されている。框１２の意匠は、ペットルーム１０を部屋の内装の一部として採り入れることができる程度のものが選択される。部屋の内装はペットルーム１０を備える室内ごとに異なることが想定されるが、框１２は合成樹脂素材、木材等の素材より構成されるため、意匠のバリエーションを備え易く、また、個々の住宅別に製造することも可能である。

框１２は、上框１２ａ、下框１２ｂ及び複数の縦框１２ｃ・１２ｃ・・・から成り、ブース１１の構成部材の開口部周囲に固設されている框取付片１７・１７・・・を介して、框１２に取り付けられる。上框１２ａと下框１２ｂにはそれぞれ縦框１２ｃ・１２ｃ・・・の上部又は下部を挿入固定するための挿入孔が形成されている。従って、框１２をブース１１へ取り付ける際には、下框１２ｂを框取付片１７・１７・・・に係合させ、各縦框１２ｃ・１２ｃ・・・の下部を下框１２ｂに形成された挿入孔に挿入し、縦框１２ｃ・１２ｃ・・・の上部を上框１２ａの挿入孔に挿入して、上框１２ａを框取付片１７・１７・・・と係合させることによって、框１２の取り付けと組み立てが同時に行われる。この間、ドライバ等の工具は不要であり、框１２のブース１１の開口部への脱着作業がより簡易となるようにされている。

次に、各ブース１１に備えられる機能について説明する。

就寝・休息のためのハウスブース１１（１１ａ）には、電源供給機能が備えられている。従って、該ハウスブース１１（１１ａ）に嵌設されるボックス２０には、機能装置２４として電源装置が取り付けられている。電源装置には、ボックス２０内部からプラグを差し込むことのできるコンセントが備えられている。これにより、ボックス２０内部に電気式の保温マット等を備えるときにハウスブース１１（１１ａ）の外部へコードを延出させて電気を供給する必要がなく、コードを短くすることができて、コードがペットに噛まれて損傷して漏電したり、ペットがコードに巻き付いたりするおそれが低減される。

食事のためのダイニングブース１１（１１ｂ）には、照明機能が備えられている。従って、該ダイニングブース１１（１１ｂ）に嵌設されるボックス２０に機能装置２４として照明装置が取り付けられている。照明装置はダウンライト式として、発熱する光源がボックス２０内に突出しないものとされている。照明機能によってダイニングブース１１（１１ｂ）の奥部まで照らすことによって、餌をおいしく見せる効果と清掃性容易とする効果が得られる。

排泄のためのトイレブース１１（１１ｃ）には、換気機能が備えられている。従って、該トイレブース１１（１１ｃ）に嵌設されるボックス２０に機能装置２４として換気装置が備えられている。換気装置は、換気扇と排気ダクト等からなり、トイレブース１１（１１ｃ）内の空気を強制的に排気することができるようにされている。この換気機能より、トイレブース１１（１１ｃ）が開口している室内空間側からボックス２０後部に連結された排気ダクトへの気流が強制的に形成され、臭いの発生源近傍から強制排気されるので、室内空間側への臭いの拡散を抑制することができる。なお、トイレブース１１（１１ｃ）に配置されるボックス２０内には、トイレトレイ若しくはトイレシートが敷設され、必要に応じてトイレトレイのみをボックス２０より取り出して洗浄したり、トイレシートを取り替えたりする。また、トイレブース１１（１１ｃ）には、その開口部に開閉可能なブラインドを設けることもできる。特に来客時に、ペットのトイレが室内空間に露出された状態にあることは、好ましい状態とはいえず、このような際に必要に応じてトイレブース１１（１１ｃ）内を隠蔽することができるようにするのである。

そして、前記ダイニングブース１１（１１ｂ）の照明装置のスイッチと、トイレブース１１（１１ｃ）の換気装置のスイッチはいずれも、ヒトの手で操作し易い場所にまとめて配置されている。例えば、本実施例では図１に示す如く、収納棚１３の側方に照明装置と換気装置の各スイッチ１４ａ・１４ｂが配設されたスイッチプレート１４が設けられている。

上述の如く構成されるペットルーム１０では、従来それぞれ離れた別の場所において行われていたペットの基本的生活動作（食事・排泄・就寝）、を、集合して配置されたブース１１・１１・１１内にて行うようにして、ペットの基本的生活動作に必要な空間がコンパクトにまとめて配置されている。これは、ペットルーム１０が複数のブース１１・１１・１１に区切られることによって実現されており、例えば、食事と排泄の場所を近接配置しながらも隔離することができるためである。

そして、ペットルーム１０を構成する各ブース１１・１１・１１には、ペットの基本的生活動作に応じた機能が備えられて、ペットは目的の生活動作に対して適したブース１１を選択して使用するものとされている。ブース１１に備えられる機能とは、例えば、ハウスブース１１（１１ａ）に備えられた電源供給機能であり、ダイニングブース１１（１１ｂ）に備えられた照明機能であり、トイレブース１１（１１ｃ）に備えられた換気機能である。これらの機能により、飼い主がペットの世話を簡便に行うことができるようになるとともに、ペット及び飼い主の両方にとって快適な空間形成が促進されている。

そして、ペットの専用空間をヒトの生活空間の一部に造りつけた状態（場所を固定した状態）としながらも、ペットルーム１０を構成するブース１１・１１・１１内には着脱・取替可能なボックス２０・２０・２０を設けるとともに、ペットルーム１０を装飾する框１２を着脱・取替可能とすることで、ペットルーム１０の清掃が簡易となるだけでなく、長期的な使用にも耐えうる構造とされている。ペットの専用空間であるペットルーム１０を室内空間に造りつけることが可能となることによって、例えば、リビングやキッチンにペットルーム１０を配設したとしても、部屋のインテリア性を損ねることがなく、また、ヒトの生活動線を阻害することなくペットの基本的生活動作が行われることとなる。すなわち、ペットとヒトとが生活空間を共有しながらも、ペットとヒトとが互いに快適に暮らすことのできる住宅とすることができるのである。

なお、ペットルーム１０は、ブース１１及びボックス２０のサイズ展開（例えば、大・中・小）を図ることによって、工業的量産が可能となり、設計施工がマニュアル化されて簡易となり、また、販売時の住宅施工主への提案も容易となる。ブース１１及びボックス２０のサイズは、ペットの種類やペットの体重に応じて適したものを判断することが可能である。

【発明の効果】
本発明は、以上のように構成したので、以下に示すような効果を奏する。

本発明は、住宅の室内空間に向けて室内の壁部に開口する単数若しくは複数のブースを、前記壁部より反室内側であって住宅内に設け、電源供給機能装置、換気機能装置、及び照明機能装置のうち何れか一つの機能装置を備えた筒状の胴部と該胴部の後部を閉塞する後部カバーとに分割可能に構成された合成樹脂製のボックスを、前記胴部の開口を室内空間側に向けて前記ブースに着脱可能に内装し、前記ブースの開口縁に着脱可能な框を備えるとともに、前記框と前記ボックスの胴部の開口縁にパッキンを介挿したので、ペットの基本的生活動作に必要な空間をコンパクトにまとめて配置することができる。
また、上記発明によれば、ブースに内装されるボックスを解体して洗浄することができるようになり、深型の一体的なボックスでは手の届きにくい奥部まで洗浄することが容易となって、ペットルームの清掃の簡易性を向上している。なお、ボックスは合成樹脂で構成されているため、解体して丸洗いすることができ、また、比較的汚れも落ちやすく、ボックスの洗浄が容易となる。
そして、ボックスを合成樹脂製品とすることで、水密性及び気密性が備えられて、ボックス内で発生した飲料用水や屎尿等の水分と、これらの臭いとが、ボックスの外部に漏れ出てブースに染みつくことがない。さらに、ボックスを解体して、前部と後部との両方が開放された状態の本体ケースとすることができるため、機能装置を取り付ける際の取り付け作業が容易となり、機能装置の組み付け性が向上される。
また、上記発明によれば、框によりペットルームを室内空間にふさわしい意匠性の高いものとするとともに、ペットが生活することによりボックスや框が汚れたときに框を取り外してボックスをブースより抜き出し、丸洗いをすることができるようになり、清潔なペットのための専用空間を保持することが容易となる。さらに、ペット飼育中止時には、これらのボックスを簡単に撤去することが可能であり、ペットルームとしての各ブースを他の用途に転換して利用することができる。
