【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、情報を記録する情報記録媒体に関する。特に、オーディオ情報および静止画情報の少なくとも一方を記録する情報記録媒体、記録装置、編集装置、再生装置、記録方法、編集方法、再生方法に関する。

【従来の技術】
近年、各種の圧縮符号化方式が発明されたことと、インターネット技術の急速な普及に伴い、多くの電子音楽配信システムがサービスを開始している。これらのシステムでは、ＭＰ３等の圧縮符号化方式を利用することにより、帯域の狭いネットワークを利用しているシステムであっても、適度な時間で楽曲情報をユーザに配信することを可能としている。最近では、楽曲だけでなく、静止画情報やテキスト情報などを楽曲情報に関連付けて１つのコンテンツとして配信しているシステムもある。例えば、図１３に示すように、楽曲情報３１０と、３つの静止画情報３１１、３１２、３１３と、曲名や歌詞のテキスト情報３１４、３１５を含むコンテンツ３００が配信されたと仮定する。この場合、ユーザの端末では、静止画に関しては、楽曲情報３１０の再生中にジャケットを１枚１枚めくる様に３つの静止画が１枚１枚表示されたり、曲名に関しては、楽曲のメニュー画面で表示されたりする。このようなコンテンツをユーザの情報記録媒体に記録する場合には、一般的に、楽曲情報が記録され、さらにその楽曲情報に対応する静止画情報とテキスト情報とが、記録された楽曲情報に関連付けられるように記録される。

また、将来的には、それらのコンテンツを複数含むアルバムコンテンツを配信することが予想される。この場合、図１４に示すアルバムコンテンツ３２０のように、楽曲情報３３０〜３３２、静止画情報３３３〜３４０、テキスト情報３４２〜３４６の他に、アルバムジャケットのようなアルバムコンテンツ全体を示すアルバム用静止画情報３４７、アルバム名等を示すテキスト情報３４１を含む。アルバム用静止画情報３４７、テキスト情報３４１はアルバムコンテンツへの参照情報として使用される。例えば、アルバムコンテンツ再生時のメニュー画面などでアルバム用静止画やアルバム名が表示される。

一方、多数の楽曲情報が１つの情報記録媒体に記録されている場合、ユーザはプレイリストを作成し、好みの楽曲情報を好みの順序で再生することがある。プレイリストは、例えば、図１５に示すように、情報記録媒体に記録されている楽曲情報３５１〜３５６から選択した１つ以上の楽曲情報（プレイリスト３６１では楽曲情報３５３、３５１、３５６）を含み、その再生順序を定義する。プレイリスト３６１を再生した場合、楽曲情報３５３、楽曲情報３５１、楽曲情報３５６の順で楽曲情報が再生される。また、ユーザは楽曲情報３５５、３５２を含むプレイリスト３６２のような他のプレイリストも作成し得る。ユーザが複数のプレイリストを作成すれば、状況に応じて再生したいプレイリストを選択して楽曲を聴くという音楽の楽しみ方が可能となる。

また、音楽の別の楽しみ方として、最初に記録された情報記録媒体とは別の情報記録媒体で楽曲情報を再生したいということがある。例えば、ＣＤからのコピーや、配信されたアルバムコンテンツをＤＶＤ−ＲＡＭに一旦記録し、その後、いくつかの楽曲情報をＤＶＤ−ＲＡＭから選択してＳＤ（ＳｅｃｕｒｅＤｉｇｉｔａｌ）メモリーカードに記録して、外出先でＳＤメモリーカードに記録した楽曲情報を聴くといった場合である。この場合、ＤＶＤ−ＲＡＭの楽曲情報をＳＤメモリーカードに記録する手段として、「移動」という手段がある。「移動」とは、オリジナルの情報記録媒体に記録されている楽曲情報を他の情報記録媒体にコピーし、その後、オリジナルの情報記録媒体からコピー元の楽曲情報を削除することである。「移動」という手段を用いることにより、ユーザは様々な場面で楽曲を聴くことが可能となる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
現在、電子音楽配信システムによって配信される楽曲情報を民生機器で記録・再生することが望まれており、配信された楽曲情報をＤＶＤ−ＲＡＭを利用した家庭用オーディオレコーダ・プレーヤを用いて記録・再生することが考えられ、アルバムコンテンツは配信されてＤＶＤ−ＲＡＭに記録することもある。このような場合は、以下に説明するような情報の編集処理および作成処理が必要となるが、情報記録媒体に適用される従来の記録フォーマットではそのような編集処理および作成処理が出来なかった。

配信されるアルバムコンテンツは、選択されている楽曲情報はもちろんのこと、その再生順序にも配信側の製作意図が含まれているため、ユーザによる楽曲情報の分割や結合、削除、および再生順序の変更等の編集は禁止されることが望ましい。従って、配信されたアルバムコンテンツをＤＶＤ−ＲＡＭに記録する場合、アルバムコンテンツの楽曲情報から構成されるプレイリストを情報記録媒体に記録して、そのプレイリストの編集は禁止することが必要となる。しかしながら、ユーザが、アルバムコンテンツのある楽曲情報をＳＤメモリーカード等に移動させて楽曲情報を再生したい場合、ＤＶＤ−ＲＡＭに記録されていた楽曲情報を削除することが必要となる。このため、「移動」を考慮した場合、アルバムコンテンツの楽曲情報の削除という編集処理は禁止されないことが望ましい。

また、ユーザは、ＤＶＤ−ＲＡＭなどの情報記録媒体に記録されている任意の楽曲情報を選択して１つのプレイリストを作成することがある。この場合、個人の私的利用のためには、作成されたプレイリスト内の楽曲情報の分割や結合、削除、および再生順序や新たな楽曲情報の追加による編集は禁止されない方がよい。従って、編集の禁止および許可の観点より、プレイリストがアルバムコンテンツであるか、あるいはユーザが任意に選択した楽曲情報を含むプレイリストであるかを識別できることが望ましい。

また、ユーザがプレイリストを作成する場合、図１６に示すように、複数のアルバムコンテンツ３２１〜３２３が含む楽曲情報３７１〜３７６から任意の楽曲情報を選択してプレイリスト３６３、３６４等を作成することがある。この場合、選択された楽曲情報がどのアルバムコンテンツに含まれていたかを示す情報をユーザに表示することができれば、新たな音楽の楽しみ方をユーザに提供することができる。具体的には、図１２の場合、プレイリスト３６３の楽曲情報３７３を再生中に、ユーザが望めば、楽曲３７３が属していたアルバムコンテンツ３２２のアルバム用静止画を表示するように出来ればよい。このためには、アルバムコンテンツの楽曲情報と静止画情報とを情報記録媒体に記録する際に、アルバム用静止画が楽曲情報に関連付けられる必要がある。さらには、楽曲情報再生中に１枚１枚表示される静止画と、アルバム用静止画とを区別する必要もある。

本発明は上記課題を解決するためになされ、プレイリストがアルバムコンテンツであるのか、あるいはユーザが任意に選択した楽曲情報を含むプレイリストであるのかを区別する情報を含む情報記録媒体、または、楽曲情報に関連付けられている静止画情報が楽曲再生中に表示される静止画情報であるのか、あるいはアルバム用静止画情報であるのかを区別する情報を含む情報記録媒体、記録装置、編集装置、再生装置、記録方法、編集方法、再生方法を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の情報記録媒体は、第１の情報と、前記第１の情報に関連付けられた第２の情報と、前記第１の情報および前記第２の情報が含まれていたアルバムコンテンツにおいて、前記第２の情報が前記アルバムコンテンツ全体を代表した情報であるのか前記第１の情報に関連付けられていた情報であるのかを示す識別情報とを記録するための情報記録媒体であり、そのことにより上記目的が達成される。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を図面を参照して説明する。

（実施の形態１）
本発明の実施の形態１における情報記録媒体は、情報と、その情報が電子配信により配信されたアルバムコンテンツであるのかユーザにより編集された情報であるのかを示す識別情報とを記録するための情報記録媒体である。上記情報は、オーディオ情報、静止画情報、動画情報およびテキストデータのうちの少なくとも１つである。オーディオ情報は音を示す情報であり、例えば楽曲情報および音声情報等を含む。楽曲情報は１曲の音を示し、静止画情報は１つの静止画を示す。

本実施の形態における情報記録媒体の一例として図１Ａに情報記録媒体１００を示す。情報記録媒体１００は、少なくとも１つの楽曲情報を含むオーディオ情報であるプレイリスト１１０と、プレイリスト１１０を管理するための管理情報ファイル１２０とを含む。プレイリスト１１０は、例えば図１Ｂに示すように複数の楽曲情報１１１、１１２、１１３を含む。プレイリスト１１０における複数の楽曲情報１１１、１１２、１１３の再生順番は、例えば複数の楽曲情報１１１、１１２、１１３の記録順番により決定され得る。

プレイリスト情報１２１は、プレイリスト１１０に関する一般情報、例えばプレイリスト１１０に含まれる楽曲数などを示すプレイリスト一般情報１２４を含む。プレイリスト一般情報１２４は、プレイリストの種別を識別するためのプレイリスト識別情報１２５を含む。プレイリスト識別情報１２５は、プレイリスト１１０が電子配信により配信されたアルバムコンテンツであるのかユーザにより編集された情報であるのかを示す。電子配信により配信されたアルバムコンテンツは複数のコンテンツを含むアルバムを示す。コンテンツとは、例えば、楽曲情報、静止画情報、動画情報、テキスト情報などである。ここではコンテンツは楽曲情報である。アルバムコンテンツが含む複数の楽曲情報の内容および楽曲情報の再生順番等には著作権者の意図が反映されている。そのような著作権者の意図が反映されるように、アルバムコンテンツは情報記録媒体１００に記録される。ユーザにより編集された情報は、電子配信以外の情報源である１つ以上の記録媒体に記録されている複数の楽曲情報をユーザが選択して組み合わせることにより作成したプレイリスト（以下、ユーザ定義プレイリストと呼ぶ）である。なお、アルバムコンテンツおよびユーザ定義プレイリストは楽曲情報を１つのみ含む情報であってもよい。プレイリスト識別情報１２５は、プレイリスト１１０が電子配信により配信されたアルバムコンテンツであることを示すアルバムプレイリスト識別子であるか、プレイリスト１１０がユーザ定義プレイリストであることを示すユーザ定義プレイリスト識別子であるかのいずれかである。

図２を参照して、上述したようなプレイリストおよびプレイリスト識別情報を情報記録媒体１００に記録する記録装置２１について説明する。図２に示す記録装置２１は、インターネット等のネットワークシステムを介した電子配信によりアルバムコンテンツ２８を取得する第１の取得部２３と、電子配信以外の情報源（例えばＣＤおよびＤＶＤ）から複数の楽曲情報と管理情報との組２９を取得する第２の取得部２４と、情報記録媒体１００から情報を読み取る読取部２５と、制御部２６と、ユーザからの編集内容を受信する受信部２７と、情報記録媒体１００に情報を記録する記録部２２とを備える。制御部２６は、第１の取得部２３が取得した情報をアルバムコンテンツ２８であると識別し、第２の取得部２４が取得した情報をユーザにより編集された情報であると識別する。

電子配信により第１の取得部２３が取得したアルバムコンテンツ２８は楽曲情報と管理情報とを含む。第１の取得部２３は、アルバムコンテンツ２８を取得すると、アルバムコンテンツ２８に含まれる管理情報３０を制御部２６へ出力し、アルバムコンテンツ２８に含まれるすべての楽曲情報の組３１を記録部２２へ出力する。

制御部２６は、管理情報３０を解読して、楽曲情報の組３１が１つのプレイリストとして情報記録媒体１００に記録されるように、アルバムプレイリスト識別子を含む新規のプレイリスト情報を作成する。制御部２６は、情報記録媒体１００に管理情報ファイル１２０（図１Ｃ）が予め記録されている場合には、読取部２５を介して管理情報ファイル１２０を取得し、作成した新規のプレイリスト情報を含むように管理情報ファイル１２０を更新する。情報記録媒体１００に管理情報ファイル１２０が記録されていない場合には、作成した新規のプレイリスト情報を含む管理情報ファイル１２０を作成する。制御部２６は、更新または作成された管理情報ファイル１２０を記録部２２へ出力する。記録部２２は、更新または作成された管理情報ファイル１２０と、楽曲情報の組３１とを情報記録媒体１００に記録する。

第２の取得部２４は情報源から複数の楽曲情報と管理情報との組２９を取得すると、複数の楽曲情報と管理情報との組２９に含まれる管理情報３２を制御部２６へ出力し、複数の楽曲情報と管理情報との組２９に含まれるすべての楽曲情報の組３３を記録部２２へ出力する。

制御部２６は、管理情報３２を解読して、楽曲情報の組３３が１つのプレイリストとして情報記録媒体１００に記録されるように、ユーザ定義プレイリスト識別子を含む新規のプレイリスト情報を作成する。制御部２６は、情報記録媒体１００に管理情報ファイル１２０（図１Ｃ）が予め記録されている場合には、読取部２５を介して管理情報ファイル１２０を取得し、作成した新規のプレイリスト情報を含むように管理情報ファイル１２０を更新する。情報記録媒体１００に管理情報ファイル１２０が記録されていない場合には、作成した新規のプレイリスト情報を含む管理情報ファイル１２０を作成する。制御部２６は、更新または作成された管理情報ファイル１２０を記録部２２へ出力する。記録部２２は、更新または作成された管理情報ファイル１２０と、楽曲情報の組３３とを情報記録媒体１００に記録する。

受信部２７は、ユーザからの指示として、情報記録媒体１００に記録されている情報から複数の楽曲を選択し、選択した複数の楽曲情報を含む新規のプレイリストを情報記録媒体１００に記録するという編集指示情報３４を受信した場合、受信した編集指示情報３４を制御部２６へ出力する。この場合の編集指示とは、例えば、新規のプレイリスト作成という指示とその新規プレイリストに登録される曲番号の指示とである。制御部２６は編集指示情報３４を取得すると、ユーザが選択した複数の楽曲情報を含む新規のプレイリストに関する情報を示す新規のプレイリスト情報を作成する。新規のプレイリスト情報はユーザ定義プレイリスト識別子を含む。制御部２６は、情報記録媒体１００から読取部２５を介して管理情報ファイル１２０を取得し、作成した新規のプレイリスト情報を含むように管理情報ファイル１２０を更新する。制御部２６は、更新された管理情報ファイル１２０を記録部２２へ出力する。記録部２２は、更新された管理情報ファイル１２０を情報記録媒体１００に記録する。

図３に示すフローチャートのように、電子配信から取得したアルバムコンテンツを情報記録媒体１００に記録する場合（Ｓ３０１でＹｅｓの場合）には、アルバムコンテンツが含む複数の楽曲情報を含む１つのプレイリストが作成され（Ｓ３０２）、そのプレイリスト識別情報としてアルバムプレイリスト識別子が情報記録媒体１００に記録される（Ｓ３０４）。また、ユーザにより編集された情報を情報記録媒体１００に記録する場合（Ｓ３０１でＮｏの場合）には、ユーザにより編集された情報を含む１つのプレイリストが作成され（Ｓ３０３）、プレイリスト識別情報としてユーザ定義プレイリスト識別子が情報記録媒体１００に記録される（Ｓ３０５）。

アルバムプレイリスト識別子が対応付けられたプレイリストは、楽曲情報の削除以外の編集は禁止される。基本的に、アルバムプレイリスト識別子は、コンテンツ製作者の著作権があるアルバムコンテンツであることを示す識別子であり、アルバムコンテンツには、楽曲情報そのものはもちろんのこと、楽曲再生順序にもコンテンツ製作者の意図が含まれている。このため、アルバムプレイリスト識別子が対応付けられたプレイリストの編集は禁止されなければいけない。しかしながら、ユーザは、「移動」という手段を用いて、楽曲情報を他の情報記録媒体においてでも聴きたいと望むことがある。「移動」という手段を用いて様々な情報記録媒体で楽曲を聴くことは、ユーザにとって重要な音楽の楽しみ方の１つである。例えば、自宅にあるＤＶＤ−ＲＡＭからいくつかの楽曲情報をＳＤ（ＳｅｃｕｒｅＤｉｇｉｔａｌ）メモリーカードに移動させ、通学および通勤途中で楽曲を聴くということがある。アルバムプレイリスト識別子が対応付けられたプレイリストが含むある楽曲情報を移動する場合、その楽曲情報を他の情報記録媒体にコピーした後、コピー元の情報記録媒体から削除するという処理が必要となる。このため、アルバムコンテンツの楽曲情報から構成されるプレイリストであっても、楽曲情報の削除は許可される必要がある。一方、ユーザ定義プレイリスト識別子が対応付けられたプレイリストは、そのプレイリストが含む複数の楽曲情報の分割や結合、削除、曲順変更、新たな楽曲情報の追加等の編集は許可される。

図４に、プレイリスト識別情報に基づいて上述のようなプレイリストの編集を行う編集装置４１を示す。編集装置４１は、情報記録媒体１００から情報を読み取る読取部４３と、編集処理の制御を行う制御部４４と、情報記録媒体１００に情報を記録する記録部４２と、ユーザから入力される編集内容を受信する受信部４５と、ユーザにメッセージを表示する表示部４６とを備える。

受信部４５が、ユーザから情報記録媒体１００に記録されたプレイリストを編集するという編集指示情報４７を受信する。受信した編集指示情報４７には、例えば、編集するプレイリストのプレイリスト番号と、その編集内容、例えば、プレイリストの削除が含まれている。受信部４５は受信した編集指示情報４７を制御部４４へ出力する。次に、読取部４３は、情報記録媒体１００から管理情報１２０を読み取って制御部４４に出力する。

制御部４４は、読み取られた管理情報１２０から、編集指示情報４７が示すプレイリスト番号と関連するプレイリスト情報を検索する。制御部４４は、検索されたプレイリスト情報に含まれるプレイリスト識別情報がアルバムプレイリスト識別子であるのかユーザ定義プレイリスト識別子であるのかを識別する。制御部４４は識別結果に応じた制限に従ってプレイリストを編集する。

識別の結果、プレイリスト識別情報がアルバムプレイリスト識別子であった場合には、編集指示情報４７が示す編集内容が、プレイリストに含まれる楽曲情報の削除以外の編集内容であれば、制御部４４はその編集を禁止する。制御部４４は編集禁止であることを示す編集禁止情報４８を表示部４６へ出力し、表示部４６は編集不可能であるとの警告情報を表示する。また、編集指示情報４７が示す編集内容が、プレイリストに含まれる楽曲情報の削除であれば、制御部４４は該当楽曲情報が削除されるように管理情報１２０を更新する。制御部４４は更新された管理情報１２０を記録部４２へ出力する。記録部４２は更新された管理情報１２０を情報記録媒体１００へ記録する。また同時に、記録部４２は、情報記録媒体１００に含まれる削除すべき該当楽曲情報を情報記録媒体１００から削除する。
