Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an improvement in an outside air temperature sensor and an oil cooler arrangement structure of a motorcycle.
[0002]
[Prior art]
For example, FIG. 2 of Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 62-28690 “Oil cooler support structure for motorcycles” shows a motorcycle in which an oil cooler 25 is arranged below the headlight 21.
[0003]
On the other hand, in recent years, in some motorcycles, a system called fuel injection (direct fuel injection), in which fuel is directly fed into a combustion chamber, has been adopted. This method is characterized in that the fuel to be fed into the combustion chamber and the air to be mixed with this fuel are calculated and determined in detail by the control unit. As a premise of the calculation, at least the temperature of air is accurately measured, and the amount of air is corrected for temperature. This is because proper air-fuel ratio control can be achieved.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
When an outside air temperature sensor as a means for measuring the temperature of the air is to be attached to the motorcycle disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 62-28690, the rear of the oil cooler 25 (see FIG. 2) Then there is no choice but on the right side. This is because the oil cooler 25 is disposed at the forefront.
[0005]
If an outside air temperature sensor is placed behind the oil cooler, there is a possibility that the temperature of the air warmed by the oil cooler may be detected, and since the detected temperature goes up, the air-fuel ratio deviates from the ideal value, which is not preferable. .
[0006]
Alternatively, in FIG. 2 of the above publication, if the outside air temperature sensor is forcibly disposed in front of the oil cooler 25, the outside air temperature sensor becomes a shielding object, and the air to be directed to the oil cooler 25 is reduced. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the oil cooler 25 to increase the cooling area.
[0007]
Thus, conventionally, an arrangement structure that considers both the outside air temperature sensor and the oil cooler has not been proposed.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to propose a preferable outside air temperature sensor and oil cooler arrangement structure for a motorcycle.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, a first aspect of the present invention provides a motorcycle in which a front part of a vehicle body is covered with a cowling, and a headlamp consisting of two left and right lights is provided at the front end of the cowling. An outside air temperature sensor that measures the temperature of the outside air when the vehicle body is viewed from the front is disposed at the front end of the cowling at the center of the two left and right lights. An oil cooler that cools the lubricating oil is disposed on the outside air temperature sensor, and a bar-shaped sensor is used as the outside air temperature sensor. It protrudes downward and is exposed, and is arranged close to the lower part of the headlamp.
A second aspect of the present invention includes the direction indicator lamp disposed below the left and right headlamps according to the first aspect, wherein the cowling includes a direction indicator lamp inspection hole that can be opened and closed with a lid, and the oil The oil circulation pipe of the cooler is disposed so as to bypass the inspection hole.
[0009]
In Claim 1, these were arrange | positioned in order of the external temperature sensor and the oil cooler along the flow of air. That is, since the outside air temperature sensor is arranged on the upstream side of the oil cooler serving as a heat source, the outside air temperature sensor can detect the correct outside air temperature.
And since only a sensing part is exposed from a cowling, the extent to which this sensing part inhibits the flow of air is slight. Therefore, a sufficient amount of air can be supplied to the oil cooler despite the fact that the outside air temperature sensor is disposed in front.
According to the second aspect of the present invention, since the oil circulation pipe bypasses the inspection hole so as not to obstruct the operation of inserting and removing the connector integrated valve from the inspection hole that is closed with the lid, the replacement operation of the valve becomes easy. .
[0010]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. The drawings are viewed in the direction of the reference numerals.
FIG. 1 is a side view of a motorcycle according to the present invention. A motorcycle 10 includes a front wheel 11, a front fork 12, a handle 13 and a cowling 14 covering the front of the vehicle body at the front of the vehicle body, and a main frame 16 at the center of the vehicle body. This is a small vehicle including an engine 17 suspended from the vehicle and a fuel tank 18 mounted on the main frame 16, and a swing arm 21, a rear wheel 22, a silencer 23, a driver seat 24, and a passenger seat 25 at the rear of the vehicle body.
As clearly shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, the cowling 14 has a shape in which a front portion protrudes forward.
[0011]
In the present invention, the front portion of the vehicle body is provided with the outside air temperature sensor 27, the oil cooler 28, and the side radiators 29L and 29R (L is left when viewed from the driver, R is right, and the same applies hereinafter). 31 is an air cleaner, 32 is an exhaust pipe, 33 is a rear cushion, and 34 is a battery.
[0012]
FIG. 2 is a front view of the motorcycle according to the present invention. Referring to FIGS. 1 and 3, the front of the vehicle body is covered with a cowling 14, and left and right direction indicator lights 35L and 35R and left and right A headlight comprising two lamps 36L and 36R is provided, and an outside air temperature sensor 27 for measuring the temperature of the outside air when the vehicle body is viewed from the front is disposed at the center of the left and right two lights 36L and 36R. An oil cooler 28 for cooling the lubricating oil is disposed in the back of the left side, and left and right side radiators 29L and 29R are further disposed in the back thereof. 37 is a front fender, and 38 is a bottom bridge.
As described above, the outside air temperature sensor 27 is disposed at the center of the headlamps 36L and 36R including the left and right lamps, and is disposed in the vicinity of the lower portion of the headlamps 36L and 36R .
[0013]
Next, the operation of the outside air temperature sensor and the oil cooler configured as described above will be described. FIG. 3 is an explanatory diagram of the operation of the present invention. A bar-shaped sensor is adopted as the outside air temperature sensor 27, most of the bar-shaped sensor is accommodated in the cowling 14, and the sensing portion 39 at the tip of the bar-shaped sensor is moved downward from the cowling 14. It shows that it has been exposed.
As a result, the wind 42 flowing along the nose portion 41 of the cowling 14, that is, the cooling air, first contacts the sensing portion 39 and then reaches the oil cooler 28.
[0014]
Since the outside air temperature sensor 27 is arranged on the upstream side of the oil cooler 28 serving as a heat source, the outside air temperature sensor 27 can detect the correct outside air temperature.
Since only the sensing unit 39 is exposed from the cowling 14, the extent to which the sensing unit 39 impedes the flow of the wind 42 is slight. Therefore, a sufficient amount of wind 42 can be supplied to the oil cooler 28 even though the outside air temperature sensor 27 is disposed in front.
[0015]
FIG. 4 is a diagram showing the relationship between the direction indicator lamp and the oil circulation pipe according to the present invention. In the left direction indicator lamp 35L, the direction indicator lamp 35L includes a lamp case 43 and a connector fitted to the lamp case 43. It comprises an integral bulb 44 and a lens 45 attached to the front surface of the lamp case 43. The connector-integrated bulb 44 can be attached to and detached from the lamp case 43. In this example, a triangular inspection hole 46 is provided in the cowling 14 and closed with a lid 47. The oil circulation pipe 48 bypasses the inspection hole 46 so as not to obstruct the operation of inserting and removing the connector integrated valve 44 from the inspection hole 46. Thereby, the replacement work of the valve 44 is facilitated.
[0016]
【The invention's effect】
The present invention exhibits the following effects by the above configuration.
According to the second aspect of the present invention, since the oil circulation pipe bypasses the inspection hole so as not to obstruct the operation of inserting / removing the connector-integrated valve from the inspection hole blocked by the lid, the valve replacement operation is facilitated. .
