本発明はスクリーン版の製版のマスキング用インクに関するものであり、特に、UV照射による感光乳剤の硬化防止に優れたマスキング用インクに関する。

【従来の技術】
UV感光乳剤を用いたスクリーン版の製版において、UV感光乳剤を塗布したスクリーン版沙上に、マスキング用としてインクジェットプリンタにて画像を出力する製版方法は、オンデマンド印刷に対応するものであり製版工程を大幅に短縮でき、かつ従来手作業で行われていた製版工程をデータダイレクトオンスクリーンにておこなえる方法として非常に注目されている。

特開平10−16177は、この製版方法について述べられており、その発明の実施の形態において、このプリンタに用いられるインクジェット用マスキングインクは、着色剤は染料でも顔料でも良く、色相は隠蔽性のある黒が良いが、ある程度UVを通し難ければ何色であっても良い、とあるが、黒顔料インクのみでは若干の硬化が起こってしまい、UV未硬化部を高圧水の噴射により除去する際、高圧水の噴射のみでは画像部分が抜けにくく抜け性が良いとはいえないのが現状であり、UV遮蔽性に優れているとはいえない。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明の目的はスクリーン版の製版のマスキング用インクにおいて、UV照射による感光乳剤の硬化防止に優れたマスキング用インクを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
目的を達成するため、本発明は、UV感光乳剤を用いたスクリーン版の製版において、UV感光乳剤を塗布したスクリーン版沙上に、マスキング用としてインクジェットプリンタにて画像を出力する際に用いるインクジェット用マスキングインクであり、ニトロソアミン系である重合禁止剤を含むことを特徴とするものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明者らは鋭意検討の結果、UV感光乳剤を用いたスクリーン版の製版において、UV感光乳剤を塗布したスクリーン版沙上に、マスキング用としてインクジェットプリンタにて画像を出力する際に用いるインクジェット用マスキングインクであり、ニトロソアミン系である重合禁止剤を含むことにより、UV照射による感光乳剤の硬化防止に優れたマスキング用インクである本発明を提供するに至った。

重合禁止剤の添加量は100ppm以上の添加が好ましいが、これに限定するものではない。重合禁止剤は一般的に、ハイドロキノン、ハイドロキノンモノモチルエーテル、t-ブチルハイドロキノン、t-ブチルカテコール、N-ニトロソフェニルヒドロキシルアミンアンモニウム塩、2,4-ジニトロフェノール、2-メチル-N-ニトロソアニリンなどが知られているが、重合禁止剤としては、 N- ニトロソフェニルヒドロキシルアミンアンモニウム塩などのニトロソアミン系のものが好ましい。

また、着色顔料および染料は必ずしも必要とはしないが、着色顔料または染料を含むことにより目視による版の管理が容易になるため、少なくとも着色顔料または染料を含むことが望ましい。

溶媒は水が好ましいが、これに限定するものではなく、アルコールやエチレングリコールなど他の溶剤を用いてもよい。また、必要に応じて他の添加剤を加えても良い。

以下に実施例を挙げて本発明を具体的に説明するが、本発明がこれによって限定されるものではない。

〔実施例および比較例〕
表1の成分を各々混合し、十分撹拌し溶解後、この溶液を3μmのポリテトロフルオロポアフィルターを通し、インクジェット用マスキングインクを得た。

得られた実施例1〜7および比較例のインクジェット用マスキングインクを、互応化学工業社製感光乳剤プラスプリントW−300を塗布し40℃20分間乾燥処理を行ったスクリーン版沙上に、インクジェットプリンタにて画像を出力した後、10cmの距離から100Wのケミカルランプを15秒間照射し、実施例1〜7および比較例のインクジェット用マスキングインクでマスクされた箇所を高圧水の噴射により除去を行った。
