Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a portable terminal (a mobile phone, an information terminal (PDA: Personal Digital Assistant), a voice recorder, a notebook PC, etc.) that can photograph a person or a landscape using a camera. The operating state is notified.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent mobile terminals, particularly mobile phones, mobile phones with a camera have begun to spread widely due to higher functionality and market needs. In these mobile phones with cameras, the number of pixels of recent mobile phones with cameras has been increased from CIF (about 100,000 pixels) to VGA (about 350,000 pixels). This allows the use of relatively low-resolution images, that is, the assumption that the original operator's own face is photographed or that the image of the close-up partner is captured, and that the long-distance partner that becomes a high-resolution image is used. It has been changed to use to capture images. As a result, the camera in the mobile phone is arranged on the opposite side of the display unit, for example, the side with the display unit, rather than the one on the same surface as the conventional display unit. There are many things that are arranged on the back side, and those that can freely turn the camera by rotating the camera, so that it is possible to shoot images of the other party or scenery. In addition, due to such market changes, camera functions as well as zoom and autofocus functions have been added.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, as described above, when the camera of the mobile phone is arranged on the back of the casing or when the camera is facing a place other than the operator, the camera (lens) can be used even if the operator does not intend to take a picture. May be suitable for people. For this reason, it cannot be determined from the appearance whether the surrounding people (who are facing the camera) are in the camera mode by the operator of the mobile phone or simply operating the mobile phone. The person who is facing the camera (lens) did not know whether it was taken or not taken.
[0004]
In order to deal with such problems, there is one that notifies the timing immediately after shooting with sound, but this only knows that it has been shot, and it is not possible to know in advance that it will be shot there were. Also, there was a problem that even this noise could not be heard in a place where the noise was severe.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-described problem, according to the first aspect of the present invention, in the notification method of the mobile terminal, it is detected that the camera unit is switched to the camera mode in which the image captured by the camera unit is displayed on the display unit. If the light emitting element is turned on or blinking to notify, and the camera mode is switched, and then the light emitting element is turned on or blinking, and it is detected that the shooting button is pressed, the image is displayed. Recording in the memory and notifying that the shooting button is pressed by turning on or blinking the light emitting element in a form different from the light emitting form for notifying that the camera mode has been switched.
Thereby, the person who is facing the camera can determine whether the operator of the mobile phone is in the camera mode.
Thereby, the photographing partner can recognize that the operator of the mobile phone has pressed the photographing button while the camera mode is being switched.
According to the second aspect of the present invention, when the photographing is finished, the light emitting element is different from a light emitting form for notifying that the camera mode has been switched and a light emitting form for notifying that the photographing button has been pressed. Is turned on or blinked for notification.
Thereby, the photographing partner can recognize the timing when the photographing is finished.
According to a third aspect of the present invention, the light emitting element is a light emitting element for notifying an incoming call.
Thereby, it becomes a problem of a circuit space and cost reduction by using LED together.
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, the incoming call is notified while the fact that the camera mode has been switched is being notified.
Thereby, even if the incoming call is received when the incoming call notification LED notifies that the camera mode has been switched, the user can recognize the incoming call. Further, since the photographing partner can also recognize the incoming call, it can be predicted that the photographing may be interrupted.
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, the light emission form for notifying that the camera mode has been switched is different from the light emission form for notifying an incoming call.
This prevents erroneous recognition even if an incoming call is received when the incoming call notification LED is informing that the camera mode has been switched.
[0007]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, based on one Example of this invention, it demonstrates using figures.

The
[0011]
The camera-equipped mobile phone configured as described above is used in two ways: when used as a normal telephone (including data communication, mail, and use of an Internet browser) and when using a camera unit (camera mode). There is a form (operating state). In addition to the operational states representing these use modes, there are operational states representing processing conditions during preparation for photographing (immediately before photographing) or immediately after photographing when the camera unit is used (camera mode) as described later. .
[0012]
<Camera mode>
A mode in which the camera unit is used from a normal telephone. The user can switch to the camera mode by operating the menu screen. There is also a system that can be mechanically switched to the camera mode.
[0013]
<Preparing for shooting (immediately before shooting)>
When the shutter button (shooting button) is pressed halfway, the automatic focus adjustment (autofocus) is started, and the focus is locked when the automatic focus adjustment is completed (focusing). Then, the image is captured by further pressing the shutter button. In other words, the period from when the shutter button is pressed until recording starts. When suddenly the shutter button is fully pressed, first, automatic focus adjustment is performed, waiting for focusing, and when this is completed, an image is captured. Therefore, in this case, it is a period from immediately after pressing the shutter until recording is started.
[0014]
<Immediately after shooting>
The period from the start of recording the captured image until it is displayed on the display. Or, the period from the start of recording until a few seconds after it is displayed.

[0024]
In step S1, the control unit of the mobile phone performs a timing check process for switching to the camera mode. The camera mode is a state in which an image captured by the camera unit is displayed on the display unit, and indicates a state in which an image can be captured at any time by pressing the shutter. This includes not only still image shooting but also videophone mode in which an image is transmitted to the communication partner by shooting and transmitting a moving image.

In this embodiment, the camera unit is described as being provided on the opposite surface (rear surface) to the surface of the display unit. However, the present invention describes that the camera (lens) is a human even if the operator does not intend to shoot. It includes a portable terminal that would be suitable for the present invention, and is not limited to the embodiment described above. Furthermore, the camera unit may be detachable.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, the following effects can be obtained by using the portable telephone device of the present invention.
(1) A person who is facing the camera can determine whether the operator of the mobile phone is in the camera mode.
(2) The circuit space problem and cost can be reduced by using the LED for incoming call notification.
(3) Even if an incoming call is received when the incoming call notification LED notifies that the camera mode has been switched, the incoming call can be notified to the user. Further, since the photographing partner can also recognize the incoming call, it can be predicted that the photographing may be interrupted.
(4) The timing immediately before and after the shooting can be notified to the shooting partner.
(5) The photographing partner can distinguish whether the incoming call notification LED is receiving and notifying that it has received an incoming call or whether the shutter button has been pressed.
(6) Even if the shooting partner is in a distant place where there is a lot of noise, a place where no sound can be emitted, or even if the shooting partner is far away by notifying the camera mode and the operation state such as pressing the shutter button using a light emitting element. The state described above can be known.
