脂肪族アルキルベタイン、アルキルアンモニウム塩等の両性界面活性剤;
【0031】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to the field of agricultural chemicals, and in particular to new formulation techniques and methods for controlling weeds in herbicides. More specifically, the present invention relates to an aqueous suspension herbicide composition and a weed control method for simultaneous treatment with paddy rice transplantation.
[0002]
[Prior art and technical issues]
In the field of agrochemicals, the types have been divided based on the dosage form of the formulation. Especially in the field of herbicides for paddy rice, the application scene is the weed control in paddy water, and the amount of application can be ensured. In consideration of the fact that it can be put into a container and that it can be applied in a labor-saving manner, granular forms of granules have been dominant. However, in the case of granule form, in recent years the technology and active ingredients (herbicidal activity) to increase the size of the granule itself, because it must be sprayed as uniformly as possible to the whole surface water and to reduce work labor. The amount of spraying has been reduced by increasing the content of (component).
[0003]
On the other hand, in addition to the solid agent, a herbicidal composition in the form of an emulsion has been used to date for pre-rice planting treatment. Furthermore, recently, an aqueous suspension herbicide as a liquid form has begun to be used for post-planting treatment. Known technologies related to this aqueous suspension herbicide include, for example, a nonionic surfactant (one or more) having a HLB of 10 or less and a thickener for the purpose of stabilizing an agrochemical active ingredient. An aqueous suspension pesticide formulation (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 60-1101), a suspended herbicide composition for paddy fields containing certain specific compounds and having a viscosity adjusted to 250 to 30 centipoise Method used for pre-rice planting treatment (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. Sho 62-84002), water-suspended paddy field herbicide having specific physical properties (viscosity, initial water surface spreading speed and surface tension) and its application before rice planting (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 62-87501), an aqueous suspension pesticide formulation (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 5-43401) for the purpose of suppressing particle growth particularly under high temperature conditions in a finely divided aqueous suspension formulation ) Characteristics of aqueous suspension Suspended herbicide composition for paddy field (JP-A-5-105601) focusing on prevention of chemical adhesion to rice leaves mainly caused by sprinkling and spraying, improvement of long-term storage stability and underwater diffusibility Water surface herbicidal preparations (JP-A-5-201801) and the like.
[0004]
Many technologies related to aqueous suspension formulations have been proposed, but the problem of adhesion to the leaf blades of young rice seedlings caused by the liquid formulation that they inherently have, spraying agents Problems to be solved still remain, such as the problem of whispering, and the uneven distribution of herbicidal effects and the occurrence of phytotoxicity caused by insufficient diffusion.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present inventors have studied from the viewpoint of the treatment method of the aqueous suspension preparation itself, and as a result, the aqueous suspension herbicide for simultaneous rice transplantation treatment described below is now described. It has been found that the above problems can be solved by the composition, and the present invention has been completed.
[0006]
That is, according to the present invention, 0.5 to 60% by weight of one or more herbicidal active compounds which are hardly soluble or insoluble in water having a median particle size of 0.5 to 10 μm and 30 to 97% by weight of water. And further contains a surfactant in an amount necessary to keep the herbicidal active compound in suspension, and has a viscosity at 25 ° C. in the range of 90 to 500 mPa · s. An aqueous suspension herbicide composition for simultaneous rice transplantation treatment is provided.
[0007]
According to the present invention, the above aqueous suspension herbicide composition for simultaneous rice transplantation treatment is applied to the rice field water at the same time as the rice transplantation, so that uniform drug treatment can be achieved and the action effect of the herbicidal active ingredient can be obtained. Not only can it be expressed accurately and in a timely manner, but also from the point of work efficiency (labor saving), it is very advantageous and excellent in practice that processing can be performed simultaneously at the time of rice transplanting. In particular, since the above-mentioned composition of the present invention is currently widely used for mechanical transplantation of paddy rice seedlings, a container of the composition is usually mounted in advance on a seedling planting machine, and desired as the seedling transplanter transplants. By applying this amount to rice field water, there is an advantage that it can be easily treated simultaneously with rice transplantation.
[0008]
In the present invention, the “median particle diameter” is used as a scale indicating the “average particle” system of the particle group, and the value is a frequency distribution indicating what percentage of the whole particles exist within a certain particle size interval. Is shown as the value of the particle diameter when the cumulative distribution obtained by integrating from the smaller or larger particle diameter shows 50%. The herbicidally active compounds used in the composition of the present invention can have a median particle size in the range of 0.5 to 10 μm, preferably 1 to 5 μm.
[0009]
The herbicidal active compound used in the present invention is not particularly limited as long as it is usually used for paddy fields, but those which are hardly soluble or insoluble in water are preferred. Here, “slightly soluble or insoluble in water” means that the solubility in water at 25 ° C. is approximately 100 ppm or less. Thus, the following can be exemplified as representative examples of herbicidally active compounds that are hardly soluble or insoluble in water.

[0011]
The composition of the present invention can contain herbicidally active compounds as exemplified above alone or in combination of two or more, and those containing tetrazolinone-based herbicidal active compounds are particularly suitable.
[0012]
The content of the herbicidal active compound in the composition of the present invention can be in the range of 0.5 to 60% by weight, preferably 5 to 30% by weight.
[0013]
In the composition of the present invention, the surfactant used to keep the herbicidal active compound in a suspended state is not particularly limited, and can be selected from a wide range according to the type of the herbicidal active compound, For example, the following can be used as known representatives.
[0014]
Lignin sulfonate, alkyl phosphate, fatty acid salt, alkyl sulfonate, alkyl benzene sulfonate, alkyl naphthalene sulfonate, naphthalene sulfonate formalin condensate, polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether sulfate, polyoxyalkylene alkyl phenyl ether Sulfate, polyoxyalkylene tristyryl phenyl ether sulfate, polyoxyethylene, polyoxypropylene block polymer sulfate, dialkyl sulfosuccinate, polyoxyalkylene alkyl ether sulfosuccinate salt, polyoxyalkylene alkyl phenyl ether phosphate salt, etc. Anionic surfactants;

Amphoteric surfactants such as aliphatic alkylbetaines and alkylammonium salts;
Cationic surfactants such as alkylpyridinium salts and polyethylene polyamine fatty acid amides.
[0015]
The surfactant used in the present invention is preferably polyoxyalkylene alkyl phenyl ether, polyoxyalkylene tristyryl phenyl ether, polyoxyalkylene alkyl phenyl ether sulfate, polyoxyalkylene tristyryl phenyl ether sulfate, polyoxyalkylene. Examples thereof include tristyrylphenyl ether phosphate amine salt and dioctylsulfosuccinate sodium salt.
[0016]
The composition of the present invention may contain a surfactant as exemplified above alone or in combination of two or more. In the present invention, such a surfactant is used in an amount necessary to keep the herbicidal active compound in an aqueous suspension state, the amount of which is physicality such as the particle size of the particles in the dispersion, the type of the surfactant, Although it depends on the nature and the like, it can be easily determined by a person skilled in the art by conducting a small-scale experiment.
[0017]
The composition of the present invention uses water as a dispersion medium, and the content of water can be 30 to 97% by weight, preferably 50 to 90% by weight.
[0018]
The composition of this invention is adjusted so that the viscosity in 25 degreeC may be in the range of 90-500 mPa * s, Preferably it is 120-300 mPa * s. If the viscosity of the composition is less than 90 mPa · s, sedimentation of suspended particles increases during storage, and satisfactory properties cannot be maintained in terms of stability as a product. On the other hand, if it exceeds 500 mPa · s, dripping is likely to occur at the time of spraying, and the spread of active ingredients in the paddy water is not sufficient due to a decrease in diffusivity, which is not preferable from the viewpoint of the effect.
[0019]
The adjustment of the viscosity in the composition of the present invention can be appropriately performed by adding, for example, a water-soluble polymer compound and / or an inorganic substance exemplified below.
[0020]
The composition of the present invention may optionally contain a water-soluble polymer compound for stabilizing the dispersion of the micronized herbicidal active compound. Representative examples of water-soluble polymer compounds that can be used include, for example, gum arabic, sodium alginate, tragacanth gum, xanthan gum (xanthan gum), dextrin, gelatin, casein, methylcellulose, hydroxyethylcellulose, hydroxypropylcellulose, carboxymethylcellulose, polyvinyl alcohol, Examples include polyvinyl pyrrolidone and sodium polyacrylate.
[0021]
In order to further stabilize the dispersion of the composition of the present invention, an inorganic substance such as white carbon, bentonite, talc, or kaolin; pH such as sodium hydrogen phosphate, potassium hydrogen citrate, etc. It is also possible to add a modifier.
[0022]
Furthermore, the composition of the present invention includes, as other adjuvants, an antifoaming agent (for example, silicone oil emulsion) for suppressing foaming during production and use, and a preservative (for example, Priventol D2 (trade name). ) Manufactured by Bayer: active ingredient benzyl alcohol mono (poly) hemiformal, Proxel GXL (trade name) manufactured by Zeneca: containing active ingredient 1,2-benzysothiazolin-3-one 20%, etc.) for cold district preservation An antifreezing agent (for example, ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, glycerin, ethanol, isopropanol, urea, etc.) and the like can be optionally blended within a range that does not substantially change the composition of the composition of the present invention.
[0023]
The method for producing the aqueous suspension herbicidal composition of the present invention is not particularly limited, but generally, a herbicidal active compound is added to and mixed with a solution comprising water and a surfactant, and a ball mill, sand mill or the like is mixed. Finely pulverize and disperse with a wet pulverizer such as a wet pulverizer; pulverize the herbicidal active compound in advance, mix with a solution of surfactant and water, and then wet pulverize to disperse into fine particles; or have a low melting point In the case of the herbicidal active compound, the herbicidal active compound is heated and melted to 50 to 90 ° C., mixed with the surfactant, and water is added to the mixed solution while stirring, and then returned to room temperature. The target composition of the present invention can be obtained by a method such as fine pulverization and dispersion by wet pulverization.
[0024]
The present invention also provides a method for controlling weeds using the aqueous suspension herbicide composition of the present invention.
[0025]
The method is characterized in that the aqueous suspension herbicide composition of the present invention described above is applied to paddy water at the same time as paddy rice transplantation.
[0026]
The most preferable embodiment when carrying out such a method of the present invention is that a seedling planter is equipped with a container containing the aqueous suspension herbicide composition and is desired according to automatic planting by the seedling planter and movement of the seedling planter. This composition is sprayed (chemical treatment) on the rice field at the same time as rice planting. The size of the mounting container at that time is not particularly limited, but generally, a container having a volume of about 0.6 to about 5 l is selected.
[0027]
According to the weed control method of the present invention, paddy field weeds can be controlled more accurately as compared with conventional granule application, aqueous suspension herbicide application after rice planting, and the like.
[0028]
In carrying out the weed control method of the present invention, the application amount of the composition of the present invention can be generally within the range of 5 to 20 l / ha, preferably 5 to 10 l / ha. However, this amount is only a guide and can be arbitrarily changed depending on the type of herbicidal active compound and the paddy field area.
[0029]
In addition, since the known aqueous suspension herbicide for post-rice planting treatment is for sprinkling, its application rate was limited in consideration of manual operation, but in the composition of the present invention, The restriction is not particularly necessary and is extremely versatile.
[0030]

Test example 1: Dispersibility test
1.04m2Water was poured into a plastic bat (0.8 m × 1.3 m) to a depth of 3 cm, and 1 ml of the aqueous suspension composition obtained in Examples and Comparative Examples was gently dropped into the center of the bat. After leaving still at room temperature (23-26 degreeC) for 6 hours, the herbicidal active ingredient density | concentration of the center (A section) of a bat and the four corners (B-E section) of a bat was measured. The dispersibility is expressed as a ratio to the theoretical water concentration when the herbicidal active ingredient is uniformly dispersed in the water in the vat according to the following formula.

Test example 2: Herbicidal effect test
Fill a paddy field soil into a plastic bottle of 1/2000 are and add water to scratch. After inoculation with weed seeds, rice seedlings (variety: Nipponbare, leaf age: 2.5, plant height: 15 cm) and dairy seedlings (variety: Nipponbare, leaf age: 1.6, plant height: 8 cm) each 3 At the same time as transplantation, the aqueous suspension compositions of Examples 1, 2, 5, 6 and 8 were each dropped onto the soil surface of each test section at 5 l per ha. One hour after the treatment, the water depth was set to 2 to 3 cm, and this water depth was maintained during the test period. Three weeks after the treatment, the control effect on weeds and the phytotoxicity on rice were investigated.
[0042]
In addition, the herbicidal effect is shown as% in the range where 100% is the case of complete death and 0% is the case of the untreated section.
[0043]
The phytotoxicity evaluated the dead state of rice according to the above herbicidal effect.
[0044]
The test results are shown in Table 2.

Example 16: Paddy field test
In a 10 are paddy field, using a spreader that drip in conjunction with the planting speed mounted on the 6-row paddy rice transplanter after padding, a predetermined amount ( 5 l / ha) of the aqueous suspension was dropped onto the soil surface. Immediately after the rice planting, the water was poured in so that the water depth was 2 to 3 cm. During the test period, the water depth was kept at 2 to 3 cm, and after 4 weeks of rice planting, weed control effects and phytotoxicity against rice were investigated. In addition, the control effect was expressed in%, assuming that the case of complete death was equivalent to 100% untreated area and 0%.
[0047]
The phytotoxicity evaluated the dead state of rice according to the above herbicidal effect. The effect is ≧ 90%, and the phytotoxicity is ≦ 10% to be within a practically acceptable range.
[0048]
The results are shown in Table 3.
