BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a mobile phone with an additional function.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, mobile phones having additional functions such as cameras and games have been developed. In addition, a mobile phone having a function capable of reliably restricting photographing in a specific photographing restriction region has been developed (see, for example, Patent Document 1). For these mobile phones, the introduction cycle of new models is short, and in order to promote subscription to mobile phones, old model mobile phones are sold at low prices ignoring cost costs. The mobile phone can communicate according to a contract with a telecommunications carrier. If this contract is canceled, communication cannot be performed.
By the way, in a mobile phone having an additional function, it is possible to use the additional function even if communication is not possible. In such a case, if you cancel the contract immediately after purchasing an old model mobile phone, you can obtain a unit that realizes the additional function at a lower price than purchasing the equivalent of the additional function alone. End up. For this reason, there was a problem that the manufacturer could not recover the capital invested in the technology development.

[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In order to solve this problem, there is a method of prohibiting the use of the additional function when the mobile phone communication contract is cancelled. However, this method cannot cope with the need to use only the additional function. .
[0005]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a mobile phone with an additional function that can use only the additional function without penalizing the manufacturer even if the communication function cannot be used.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, the invention according to
[0007]
According to the first aspect of the present invention, when the use of the communication function unit is restricted by the use restriction unit, the release unit releases the use restriction of the additional function unit by giving predetermined release information. In other words, the use of the communication function unit is forced to cancel the communication contract or default (for example, the communication carrier T side is forced to contract the communication due to the non-payment of the communication fee or unauthorized use, etc.) In addition to being able to restrict the use of the additional function part when it is restricted by the above, it is possible to use the additional function part by giving the release information and releasing the use restriction. . Therefore, when the user who cancels the communication contract wants to use only the additional function unit, the user's needs can be met by the canceling means storing the cancel information. Of course, when using the release means, by charging the user, it is possible to reflect the cost of product development without any disadvantage to the manufacturer.
In addition, if the use frequency limit release means is provided as the release means, the use frequency limit release means cancels the limited use frequency of the additional function unit, so even if the use of the communication function unit is restricted, only the additional function unit is used. Can be used.
In addition, if the use period limited release means is provided as the release means, the use period limited release means releases the limited use period of the additional function unit, so even if the use of the communication function unit is restricted, only the additional function unit is provided. Can be used.
[0008]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the mobile phone with an additional function according to the first aspect, the mobile phone with an additional function includes an input unit for inputting the release information, and the release unit is a predetermined release input from the input unit. Based on the information, the use restriction of the additional function unit is released.
[0009]
According to the second aspect of the present invention, when the release information is input from the input unit, the release information cancels the use restriction of the additional function unit. Therefore, it is possible to remove the restriction on the use of the additional function unit by an extremely simple method, and it is possible to provide a mobile phone with an additional function that is easy for the user to use.
[0010]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the mobile phone with an additional function according to the first or second aspect, a storage medium storing the release information is detachable, and the reading unit reads the release information from the storage medium The release means releases the use restriction of the additional function unit based on release information read by the reading unit.
[0011]
According to the third aspect of the invention, when the storage medium is attached to the reading unit and the release information stored in the storage medium is read by the reading unit, the additional function unit is based on the release information read by the reading unit. The use restriction of is released. Therefore, the personal identification number as the release information can be complicated, or the release program itself can be used as the release information, so that it is possible to prevent unauthorized use release of the additional function unit.
[0016]
