電子機器を構成する本体筐体と、
閉じられた状態では、前記本体筐体略同一面となるように前記本体筐体に開閉自在に取り付けられた開閉蓋と、
前記開閉蓋と前記本体筐体とを連結し、かつ、前記開閉蓋を前記本体筐体に引き込む方向に付勢する巻きバネ部を有した一対のトーションバネと
からなる蓋機構を備えた電子機器であって、
前記本体筐体は、その一部に段差を有した平面部を形成し、
前記開閉蓋は、上げ下げすることにより開閉を行う第1の端部と、前記第1の端部とは反対側にある第2の端部と、前記第2の端部より内側近傍にあって、前記開閉蓋の両側に設けられ、開閉時の回動支点となる一対の開孔とから構成され、
前記一対のトーションバネは、一端は前記開閉蓋に設けた前記一対の開孔にそれぞれ挿入されて取り付け、他の一端は前記本体筐体にそれぞれ固定して、前記巻きバネ部を中心として前記回動支点となる開孔を前記本体筐体内側に引き込む方向に付勢するように構成し、
前記開閉蓋は、閉じられた状態では、
前記第2の端部側であって、前記開孔よりさらに内側の位置まで前記本体筐体に設けられた前記平面部と重なりあい、
