Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
In the present invention, a molding end portion of a polymer molding roll formed by integrally bonding a molded body such as polyurethane, urethane foam, rubber or the like around a core metal is formed on the core metal at a molding central portion. This is related to a method for removing a cut end portion of a forming roll, in which only the cut end portion is removed from the metal core after being cut and separated.
[0002]
[Prior art]
For example, other polymer molding rolls of urethane foam rolls used as paper feed rolls, development rolls, toner transport rolls, etc. in copying machines, image recording apparatuses, printers, etc. When manufactured by foam molding, extrusion molding, injection molding, etc., usually the dimensional accuracy of the roll end portion as the molding end portion is low, and the hardness is higher than other portions, In many cases, the end portion is cut and removed to form a product roll, which is then used.
[0003]
For this reason, conventionally, the cutting end portion after the forming end portion is cut and separated from the forming center portion on the core metal using a metal rotary blade, a press cutting blade or the like is illustrated in FIG. Next, by holding the clamper C, and then moving the clamper C to the shaft end side of the core S, or as illustrated in FIG. After inserting a pair of plates P between the two, the plate P is removed from the core bar by moving the plate P to the shaft end side of the core bar S or the like.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, according to the former in which the cut end portion E is gripped by the clamper C, there is a problem that the cut end portion E is torn off and fine dust is inevitably generated particularly in a soft molded body. In the latter case using a pair of plates P, it becomes difficult to smoothly insert the plate P between the cut end portion E and the molding center portion M, and the molding center portion M is inserted. In addition to the problem that the central portion M is likely to be deformed by the action of a large insertion shear force, there is a problem that the core bar S is likely to be damaged by the contact of the plate P with the core bar S. .
[0005]
The present invention has an object to solve such problems of the prior art, and the object of the present invention is to provide a cutting end portion as a central portion of the molding regardless of the material of the molded body. Molding that can be smoothly and reliably removed from the core metal without causing any damage to the core metal, and whether or not tearing occurs in the core metal, without generating dust. To provide for removal of the cut end portion of the roll.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to the present invention, the method for removing the cut end portion of the molding roll includes cutting and separating the molding end portion of the polymer molding roll having the core metal from the central portion, and then removing the cut end portion from above the core metal. When removing, the suction force in the direction of the central axis is applied to the entire cut end portion.
[0007]
According to this method, since there is no physical contact with the cut end portion, it is possible to sufficiently prevent occurrence of damage to the central portion of the molded body and the metal core, and the entire cut end portion can be prevented from being damaged. By sucking in the extraction direction, even if the cut end portion is broken, the whole can be removed from the core metal sufficiently smoothly and surely. Accordingly, even if dust or the like is generated, it is also sucked and removed together with the cut end portion. This causes the dust to scatter or the central portion of the molded body, in other words, the product roll. It is possible to effectively remove the possibility of adhering to the ruby.
[0008]
In such a method, when the suction nozzle is positioned around the cutting end portion and the suction force is continuously applied to the cutting end portion, the suction force is applied substantially uniformly to the entire cutting end portion. Therefore, the above-mentioned place can be performed more effectively.
This is particularly remarkable when a suction force is applied to the cut end portion while rotating the polymer molding roll around the central axis.
[0009]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below based on the drawings.
In practicing the present invention, first of all, the molding end portion of a polymer molding roll having a core metal, for example, a urethane foam molding roll, which has been molded, is subjected to an appropriate cutting means, for example, with a required tension. With a thin organic or metal fiber cord stretched over, the polymer molded part 1 is cut into a predetermined length as shown in FIG. To separate.
[0010]
Thereafter, in a state where, for example, one end portion side of the polymer molding roll 5 is fixedly held, the suction nozzle 6 is attached to the end portion 3 on the other end side from its axial direction as shown in FIG. Close and under continuous suction of air, the suction nozzle 6 is preferably located concentrically around the end portion 3 as shown in a longitudinal section in FIG. 2 (b).
[0011]
According to this, a suction force as indicated by a black dot in the figure is generated around the end portion 3, and for this reason, a force indicated by a white arrow in the drawing acts on the end portion 3. The end portion 3 is finally peeled off from the metal core 2 and sucked into the suction nozzle 6. Therefore, here, regardless of whether tearing occurs in the end portion 3 or whether dust is generated, they are always sucked into the suction nozzle 6 reliably and smoothly.
[0012]
In this way, after the removal of the end portion 3 on the other end side of the polymer molding roll 5 is finished, the end portion 3 on the one end side thereof is removed in the same manner, so that the core metal 2 can be used. The end portions 3 can be completely extracted and removed without any residue on the core 2 without causing any damage to the central portion 4 of the polymer molded portion 1.
[0013]
Here, instead of sequentially removing each end portion 3 by suction, both end portions 3 can be sucked and removed at the same time while the central portion of the polymer molding roll 5 is fixed and held. Even in this case, it is also possible to suck and remove each end portion 3 while rotating the polymer molding roll 5 around the central axis.
[0014]
Although the embodiment of the present invention has been described based on the drawings, the end portion 3 is vibrated to vibrate the entire end of the core metal 2 and eventually the polymer forming roll 5 to remove the end portion. In addition to or in place of this, the suction nozzle 6 can be vibrated to facilitate suction removal of the end portion.
In other words, the suction force increases by reducing the distance between the polymer molding part 1 and the suction nozzle 6, while the force acting on the end part 3 changes by increasing or decreasing the distance to facilitate the removal. Is due to being done.
[0015]
【The invention's effect】
As is apparent from the above description, according to the present invention, the end portion previously cut and separated from the central portion of the polymer molding portion is removed from the core metal under the action of the suction force in the axial direction. As a result, the removal can be performed easily and reliably at all times, and the damage to the central portion remaining on the core bar as well as the core bar itself can be sufficiently prevented. In addition, it is possible to sufficiently prevent the generated dust and the like from adhering to and scattering from the central portion thereof.
