内視鏡用クリップ装置は一般に、クリップの後側に隣接して配置されたクリップ閉じリングが可撓性シースの先端に着脱自在に連結されていて、クリップは、クリップ閉じリング内に引き込まれることにより開閉したあと閉じた状態に保持されて、クリップ閉じリングと共に体内に留置されるように構成されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上述のような内視鏡用クリップ装置においては、クリップとクリップ閉じリングとが直列に並んで配置された構成になることから、可撓性シースの先端部分の硬質部の長さが非常に長くなる。

上記の目的を達成するため、本発明の内視鏡用クリップ装置は、クリップの後側に隣接して配置されたクリップ閉じリングが可撓性シースの先端に着脱自在に連結されていて、クリップが、クリップ閉じリング内に引き込まれることにより開閉したあと閉じた状態に保持されるように構成された内視鏡用クリップ装置において、クリップ閉じリングを屈曲自在な筒状体によって形成したものである。
