BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a gas barrier laminate structure, and more particularly to a gas barrier laminate structure as a packaging material using a transparent vapor-deposited film.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Of the various functions required for packaging materials in foods, pharmaceuticals, and daily goods, the barrier property against oxygen and water vapor, so-called gas barrier properties, is one of the most important characteristics in terms of maintaining the quality of the contents. Aluminum vapor deposition films and aluminum foil have been used as excellent packaging materials. However, in terms of dealing with environmental problems and product liability (PL) problems that are increasing in recent years, that is, the former has a residue of waste incineration, and the latter has a problem of invisible contents. In recent years, so-called transparent vapor-deposited films that are transparent and have gas barrier properties have been widely used as new materials.
[0003]
Transparent vapor-deposited film is a thin film of inorganic compound such as aluminum oxide, silicon oxide, magnesium oxide, etc., formed on plastic film mainly by reactive vapor deposition, etc., and it is transparent and has gas barrier properties and is also suitable for environmental problems. It can be said to be a highly packaging material. However, there are some problems, and among them, there is a serious problem that the suitability for printing and laminating is particularly low.
[0004]
That is, when printing directly on the transparent vapor deposition surface, a slight angle shift between the many rollers of the printing press and the vapor deposition surface causes a scratching phenomenon that rubs the vapor deposition surface and damages the inorganic compound thin film on the vapor deposition surface. It is known that the gas barrier property at the initial stage is remarkably deteriorated through the printing process, mainly due to the application.
[0005]
Deterioration of gas barrier properties in the printing process is due to the fact that, in addition to the scratching phenomenon, microcracks in the deposited layer caused by the tension applied to the film throughout the process, especially at the winding part, and surfactants added to the printing ink It is also caused by the chemical reaction effect of various auxiliary agents such as dispersants and PH preparation agents. This phenomenon is particularly noticeable in the reactive oxide film of inorganic oxide. This is because there are many voids in the oxide, the oxide grows in a columnar shape, and this columnar structure is rigid and brittle. Due to
[0006]
Conventionally, when laminating a transparent vapor-deposited film as a packaging material, it has been performed only in a configuration that avoids direct printing on the vapor-deposited surface in order to prevent the gas barrier property of the transparent vapor-deposited layer from being lowered.
[0007]
For example, when a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film having an aluminum oxide vapor deposition layer is used as a transparent barrier material, a stretched polypropylene film (OPP) that has been previously printed and a PET film having an aluminum oxide vapor deposition layer formed thereon are laminated. In addition, a sealant such as an unstretched polypropylene film (CPP) is laminated, or a vapor deposition surface of a PET film on which an aluminum oxide vapor deposition layer is formed and a preprinted stretched nylon film (ON) are laminated, and then the sealant. The structure which bonds is taken. Moreover, in order to make the structure into a two-layer structure of a transparent gas barrier vapor-deposited film / sealant, it must be assumed that no printing process is performed.
[0008]
The printing process must be performed not on the outermost layer of the packaging material but on the inner layer of the laminate where contact does not occur, in order to prevent the transfer of ink components to the human body and food. In the printing process, it is most desirable to use a PET film excellent in heat resistance, dimensional stability and mechanical properties. Despite such demand requirements, the above-mentioned restrictions have to be provided in the prior art.
[0009]
Further, as disclosed in JP-A-62-295931, a metal alkoxide film for enhancing the flexibility of the transparent vapor-deposited layer is provided, or as described in JP-A-5-9317. Although a method of applying a water-soluble resin is used, these are only the protective effect of the vapor deposition film that imparts flexibility to the transparent vapor deposition layer and prevents the spread of microcracks due to external stress. This was insufficient to prevent the rubbing of the ink and the chemical reaction effect of the additive in the ink component.
[0010]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Direct coating on the transparent vapor deposition surface by providing a protective coating layer on the vapor deposition surface of the transparent vapor deposition film to prevent deterioration of gas barrier properties in the printing process and improving the printing processability by strengthening the adhesion of the printing ink. Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a laminated structure as a packaging material for a transparent vapor deposition film, which has been impossible in the past.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
As a result of intensive studies by the present inventors, the object of the present invention has been industrially advantageously achieved by the following invention.
[0012]
[1] A transparent vapor-deposited layer is formed on one side of a plastic film, and then a coating layer composed of polyester and inorganic fine powder, wherein the acid component is composed of terephthalic acid and isophthalic acid, and the diol component is composed of ethylene glycol and neopentyl glycol. the provided a 0.05 to 0.2 wt% abundance of the inorganic fine powder is the polyester in the coating layer, further facilities to print processing in the coating layer, the print work surface or a plastic film A gas barrier laminate structure obtained by laminating a sealant film on one side .
[0015]
[ 2 ] The gas barrier laminate structure according to [1] above, wherein the inorganic fine powder has a particle size of 1 to 3 μm.
[0016]
[ 3 ] The gas barrier laminate structure according to [1] or [2] above, wherein the inorganic fine powder is silicon oxide.
[0017]
[ 4 ] Any one of the above [1] to [ 3 ], wherein the transparent vapor deposition layer is a deposited film of aluminum oxide generated by a chemical reaction between vaporized aluminum and oxygen gas introduced into the vapor deposition machine. The gas barrier laminate structure as described.
[0018]
[5] the coating layer is made of a composition obtained by adding a silicon oxide fine powder from 0.1 to 0.2% by weight polyester, the [1] in which the thickness is equal to or is 0.01 to 3 [mu] m ~ The gas barrier laminate structure according to [4] .
[0019]
The greatest feature of the present invention is that a coating layer made of polyester and an inorganic additive is provided on the surface of the transparent vapor-deposited layer on the plastic film, thereby preventing deterioration of gas barrier properties in the printing process, and the printing ink. It is in the point that the adhesion was strengthened and the printing process suitability was improved.

[0027]
【Example】
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail by way of examples, but the present invention is not limited thereto.
[0028]
[Example 1]
A 300 Å deposited layer of Al 2 O 3 is formed on the surface of a 12 μm polyethylene terephthalate film by a predetermined reactive vapor deposition method, and has an oxygen transmission rate of 1.5 cc / m 2 day and a water vapor transmission rate of 1.5 g / m 2 day. A transparent barrier film was obtained. On the other hand, a saturated polyester (byron 20S manufactured by Toyobo Co., Ltd.) having an acid component of terephthalic acid: isophthalic acid = 50: 50 and a glycol component of ethylene glycol: neopentyl glycol = 50: 50 is toluene: methyl ethyl ketone: ethyl acetate = 1. It was dissolved in 5% by weight with a 1: 1 solvent, and fine silicon oxide powder having a particle size of 3 μm (OK412 manufactured by Degussa) was added to the solution so that the solid content weight ratio was 0.2%.
[0029]
Using this adjustment liquid, a coating thickness of 0 was applied to the deposition surface of the Al 2 O 3 film using a normal gravure printing coater (C7-170 type, 120 mesh gravure roll manufactured by Fuji Machine Industry Co., Ltd.). It was coated and dried to a thickness of 5 μm. The performance of the barrier film at this stage is shown in Table 1.
[0030]
[Table 1]
Forcing rubbing with abrasion tester, the gas barrier properties when the coating layer is not a layer the Al 2 O 3 layer is directly abrading surface is greatly reduced, prevented most reduction in and its there is the coating layer, also The slip property of the surface is improved by adding silicon oxide. From this, it can be seen that the suitability for printing is greatly improved at this stage.
[0031]
The surface-deposited deposited film thus obtained was dried at a temperature of 80 to 80 mm so that the white ink (RAMIC F220 White manufactured by Dainichi Seika Co., Ltd.) had a solid content thickness of 1 μm using the same gravure coating machine as described above. The coating was performed at 100 ° C. and a line speed of 80 m / min.
[0032]
On the printed surface of the printed vapor-deposited film, a 15 μm stretched nylon film (Unitika emblem) was laminated under a predetermined condition using a bar coater using an ester adhesive (AD-503 manufactured by Toyo Morton). Next, a 25 μm CPP film (3529S manufactured by Toray Synthetic Film Co., Ltd.) as a sealant was laminated on the base polyethylene terephthalate film surface of this laminate with a bar coater using an adhesive E270 manufactured by Dainichi Seika.
[0033]
In addition, a laminate was prepared in the same manner as in Example 1 without performing vapor deposition surface coating, and this was used as Comparative Example 1 to measure barrier properties and adhesive strength. The results are shown in Table 2.
[0034]
[Table 2]
In Comparative Example 1, the gas barrier properties of both O 2 TR (oxygen transmission rate) and WVTR (water vapor transmission rate) are significantly increased from the initial 1.5 level, whereas in Example 1, almost no change is observed. Thus, it can be seen that the durability of surface abrasion is greatly improved. In addition, in Example 1, the ink adhesion force on the vapor deposition layer shows a level at which the adhesive layer cohesively breaks (A) the ink resin in Example 1, that is, 550 g, whereas in Comparative Example 1, the ink layer on the vapor deposition surface has It peeled (B) at the interface, and the adhesive strength was as low as 60 g.
[0035]
It can be seen that the coating film on the vapor deposition surface is a result of preventing scratching at the time of processing and strengthening the adhesion with the printing ink, and enables a configuration that could not be put into practical use by the conventional method.
[0036]
Further, as a result, it is natural that even if the intermediate barrier material is arranged in the outermost layer as shown in FIG. 2, the same effect is exhibited as long as the arrangement of the vapor deposition layer / coating layer / printing layer is not changed. .
[0037]
[Example 2]
As shown in FIG. 3, the laminate is composed of a transparent vapor deposition film and a sealant film. The other conditions are the same as in Example 1 to obtain a laminate, and the barrier properties and adhesion are measured. evaluated. Comparative Example 2 was prepared in the same manner as Comparative Example 1, and was measured and evaluated. The results are shown in Table 2.
[0038]
In Example 2, both O 2 TR and WVTR showed very slight changes, and the interface adhesion was 480 g in the same situation as Example 1. On the other hand, in Comparative Example 2, the gas barrier property was significantly lowered, and the peeling interface was in the same situation as in Comparative Example 1. From this, it can be seen that the present invention can realize a configuration that could not be put into practical use due to a decrease in physical properties in the conventional method.
[0039]
【The invention's effect】
The above-mentioned specific protective coating layer is provided on the vapor deposition surface of the transparent vapor deposition film to prevent deterioration of gas barrier properties in the printing process, and the adhesiveness of the printing ink is strengthened to improve the printing processing suitability. It was possible to provide direct packaging and provide excellent packaging materials.
