Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a shock absorbing pad manufactured mainly from a plastic foam sheet and used for shock absorbing packaging. Here, the “plastic bubble sheet” (abbreviated as “bubble sheet” in the following description) is a flat back film made of plastic on the bottom of a cap film cap provided with a number of protrusions by vacuum forming of the plastic film. Is a molded product in which a number of sealed air chambers are formed. In addition to the two-layer structure described above, there is also a three-layer structure in which another flat liner film is stuck to the top of the cap, and the bubble sheet used in the present invention has this structure. A three-layer structure is also included.
[0002]
[Prior art]
For example, when a home appliance is housed in a cardboard box for transportation and storage, an L-shaped cross-sectional cushioning material called a “corner pad” is used to protect the portion of the rectangular parallelepiped product that hits the edge of the product. A similar cushioning material is necessary for protecting the corner portion of the rectangular parallelepiped, and, for a plate-like product, a pad for protecting the edge portion and a pad for protecting the corner portion are also necessary.
[0003]
Traditionally, this type of cushioning material has often been produced in the form of expanded polystyrene moldings. Since the mold is necessary for the manufacture, it is good for mass production, but it is not suitable for high-mix low-volume production whose dimensions are frequently changed. The molded product of expanded polystyrene is also difficult to have functions such as antistatic, rust prevention, and antibacterial because of its manufacturing method. In addition, expanded polystyrene has problems in processing used products and is expected to be less used in the future.
[0004]
A cushioning material in which corrugated paper is laminated is also used in place of a molded product of expanded polystyrene. If it is paper, there is no problem in recycling and incineration after use, but cardboard is not always satisfactory in terms of buffer capacity. That is, when the corrugated paper receives an impact and the impact force exceeds the proof strength of the corrugated paper, the impact is absorbed by the collapse of the corrugated paper, and the first time acts as a buffer, but for the second impact, The absorption is no longer possible and the buffering action is lost. Corrugated cardboard also has the disadvantage of being vulnerable to water.
[0005]
On the other hand, in the field of shock-absorbing packaging, bubble sheets are actively used and can be used for shock-absorbing materials such as corner pads. The inventors previously developed and disclosed a corner pad having an L-shaped cross section using a bubble sheet as a material and a manufacturing technique thereof (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2002-53177). The corner pad wraps the air bubble sheet around a winding frame having a rectangular outline to form a square cylinder, divides this at a predetermined interval along the circumference, welds the ends of the cylinder, and then approximately the four sides. Manufactured by welding and cutting in the center along the axis.
[0006]
With respect to this corner pad, there has been a demand for the realization of manufacturing by a simpler method and apparatus. In addition, the cushioning material used to reduce the impact on any plane, not just the corner, the impact on the corner of the rectangular parallelepiped package, and the impact on the edge or corner of the plate-shaped package, It was desired to manufacture with sheets.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
An object of the present invention is to provide a cushioning material made of a bubble sheet, which can be manufactured by a simple manufacturing method and apparatus, and is a rectangular parallelepiped package. The present invention is not limited to the cushioning material for the ridges, but also provides the cushioning material for the corners as well as the flat surface, and the cushioning material for the edges and corners of the plate-shaped package.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
There are various embodiments of the buffer pad of the present invention that achieves the above-mentioned object, but all are manufactured by starting from the same plate-shaped buffer material and processing it. As shown in FIG. 1, the cushioning material has an appropriate length, and a plastic foam sheet having an adhesive applied to a flat surface is repeated with the adhesive side in the middle. It is folded to form a plate-shaped cushioning material (1) having an appropriate thickness.
[0009]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In the manufacturing method shown in FIG. 1, a long plastic foam sheet having a pressure-sensitive adhesive applied to a flat surface is wound around a coil, and the coil is fed out and folded to a certain width. Cut and complete the folding into a plate-shaped cushioning material, but apply a pressure-sensitive adhesive just before folding, or fold a bubble sheet that has been cut to a certain length in advance. Various modifications are possible. It is not necessary to apply the adhesive to the entire surface as long as the buffer material is gathered, and it is sufficient to apply it only to the last part of the folding.
[0010]
The first aspect is for protecting the edge of a rectangular parallelepiped package, and the folded edge of the cushioning material (1) described above is shown in FIG. In parallel, the ridge padding pad (4) is formed by applying a ruled line process (2) using a hot wire once, bending the ruled line part substantially at a right angle, and cooling and fixing.
[0011]
The second embodiment is for protecting the edge of the plate-shaped package, and as shown in FIG. 3, the shape of the product is parallel to the folded edge of the cushioning material (1). Further, the edge padding pad (5) is formed by performing ruled line processing (2) using a heat ray twice in parallel, bending the ruled line portions almost at right angles, and cooling and fixing.
[0012]
The third aspect is to protect the corners of the rectangular parallelepiped package, and as shown in FIG. 4 showing the manufacturing method and the shape of the product, the folded edge of the cushioning material (1) described above. A V-shaped cutout (3) having a substantially right-angle bottom is provided on one side of the V-shaped cutout so that the bottom is located at the center of the cushioning material and parallel to the folded edge. The ruled line processing (2) using the hot wire is performed once so as to pass through the wire, and it is bent at a substantially right angle, and at the bottom of the V shape, the ruled line processing (2) using the hot wire in the direction perpendicular to the bent line is performed. This is a buffer pad (6) for cornering which is subjected to ') once, bent at a substantially right angle so as to abut the V-shaped notch surface, and cooled and fixed.
[0013]
The fourth aspect is for protecting the corners of the plate-shaped article to be packaged, and as shown in FIG. 5, the manufacturing method and the shape of the product, the folded edge of the buffer material (1) described above. V-shaped cutouts (3) having a substantially right-angle bottom are provided at both corresponding positions so that the bottoms are located at a predetermined interval, parallel to the folded edges, and V-shaped cutouts The ruled line processing (2) using a heat ray is performed twice so that it passes through the bottom of the wire, both of which are bent at a substantially right angle, and at the position of the V-shaped bottom, the heat ray is applied in a direction perpendicular to the bent line. The corner padding pad (7) is formed by applying the ruled line processing (2 ') used once, bending it at a substantially right angle so that the V-shaped cut-out surface is abutted, and cooling and fixing.
[0014]
In addition, the cushion pad of the present invention includes a U-shaped pad as shown in FIG. 6 or FIG. 7, and the distance between the two sides of the U-shaped portion is the portion of the package to be held as a buffer. Prepare according to the size and shape.
[0015]
In the production of the buffer pad of the present invention, the above-mentioned two-layered bubble sheet of [cap film + back film] and three-layer bubble sheet of [cap film + back film + liner film] can be used. As means for applying the pressure-sensitive adhesive to the flat surface of the bubble sheet, it may be possible to apply and dry the pressure-sensitive adhesive once produced on the bubble sheet and to use a plastic film pre-coated with the pressure-sensitive adhesive. From the viewpoint of operation, the latter means is advantageous. In that case, it is particularly advantageous to select a three-layer construction and use a film pre-coated with an adhesive as the liner film to produce a bubble sheet.
[0016]
【The invention's effect】
The cushioning pad of the present invention is made of a foam sheet to which an adhesive is applied, and its folding is a minimum process. If necessary, ruled line processing with heat rays and cooling fixing, and further, a V-shaped notch are provided. By adding the process of providing, it can manufacture at low cost only by using a general purpose heat seal apparatus and a cutting device, without requiring a special apparatus. The structure can be arbitrarily realized according to the shape of the object to be packaged, such as a plane, a rectangular parallelepiped ridge, corner, or a plate-like body edge or corner.
[0017]
The buffering capacity of the buffer pad can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the number of bubble sheets folded as required. If desired, a functional buffer pad can be obtained by selecting a bubble sheet having a special function such as antistatic or rust prevention as a material.
