【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし上記移送らせんは前述のようにスパイラル状であるため、変形すると第2扱胴への取り付けが困難となるので、熱変形防止のために通常熱処理(熱硬化処理)は行われない。このため上記移送らせんの硬度は比較的低く、脱穀時の砂等により移送らせんの始端側が容易に摩耗するという欠点があった。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するために本発明のコンバイン用処理胴は、穀稈を脱穀処理する扱胴12の後端側に、前端を近接させ且つオフセットさせて軸心を中心に回転する回転体26を支持し、該回転体26の外周に上記扱胴12からの処理物を受け継ぎ上記軸心方向後方に搬送せしめるスパイラル状の移送らせん29を取り付けたコンバイン用処理胴において、移送らせん29の搬送始端側に耐摩耗性部材31を着脱交換自在に取り付けたことを第1の特徴としている。

【発明の実施の形態】
次に本発明の1実施形態を図面に基づいて説明する。図1は本発明が採用された脱穀装置を搭載したコンバインの正面斜視図であり、該コンバインは走行装置2に支持された機体1の前方に穀稈刈り取り用の前処理部3が設けられていると共に、該前処理部3の後方に脱穀装置4が配置されている。また該脱穀装置4の側方(右側方)には運転席6及び脱穀済みの穀粒を一時的に貯蔵するグレンタンク7が設けられている。

一方図2〜図4は本発明を応用した脱穀装置4の左側面透視図,平面透視図,正面透視図であり、該脱穀装置4は刈取穀稈を脱穀する脱穀部8と、該脱穀された穀粒を選別する選別部9等で構成されており、上記脱穀部8には、前処理部3により刈り取られた刈取穀稈を受け継ぎ、扱室に沿って搬送するフィードチェーン11と、該搬送された穀稈を脱穀処理する扱胴12等が備えられている。

また上記扱胴12の後方には、平面視において扱胴12に対してオフセットせしめて扱胴12により脱穀処理された後の穀粒を再度脱穀せしめる処理胴(第2扱胴)13が回転自在に支持されており、これにより従来同様扱胴12で脱穀した後に再度処理胴13で脱穀処理を行い比較的高効率で脱穀作業が行われるように構成されている。

このとき上記脱穀装置4における扱胴12の前方には、従来同様刈取穀稈挿入用の開口した入口部14が形成せしめられており、上方側が金属等からなる固定カバー16により覆われていると共に、下方側が合成樹脂(ターポリン)により形成せしめられたカバー17により覆われている。なおカバー17は上記のようにターポリン製であるため揺動自在であり、刈取穀稈挿入時に前後方向に揺動して扱胴12への穀稈搬送を許容する。

一方カバー17は固定カバー16内に形成せしめられた扱胴伝動系のカバー(プーリカバー)18に取り付けられているが、上記プーリカバー18は固定カバー16とともに搬送される穀稈の穂先側(機体内側)がL状に折り曲げられており、カバー17も機体内側においてL状に折り曲げられて取り付けられている。

つまり図5に示されるようにカバー17は、前方側が板状の押え板19とプーリカバー18にカバー17が狭持されて押え板19の外側から座の部分にスポット溶接(プロジェクション溶接)用の突起(プロジェクション)が形成せしめられたボルト状のプロジェクションボタン20が挿入され、またL字状に折り曲げられた側方がカバー17の外側から上記プロジェクションボタン20が各挿入され、それぞれプーリカバー18の内側においてナット21により固定されている。

一方上記処理胴13は図6に示されるように従来同様ドラム状の回転体26の周面に脱穀用の突起25が突設された構造となっており、回転体(ドラム)26の前後端にはドラム26の径より大径なプレート状の端板27が取り付けられている。そして処理胴13(ドラム26)は、ドラム26の中心に設けられた回転軸28を軸心(支軸)として回転駆動自在に支持されているが、図2,図3に示されるように処理胴13の前端側が扱胴12の後端側に近接しており、処理胴13の前端側が扱胴12による脱穀処理後の処理物(処理胴13により再脱穀されるべきもの)を受け継ぐ移送始端側となっている。

なお上記処理胴13の前端(移送始端)側には、処理物の搬送経路下手側(処理胴13の後方側)に向かって延出するスパイラル状の移送らせん29がドラム26の周面に溶着されて取り付けられており、扱胴12で脱穀処理された後の処理物が移送らせん29に案内されて処理胴13の周面を搬送経路下手側に向かって移送案内され、処理胴13により再度脱穀処理されるように構成されている。

このとき上記移送らせん29における移送始端(前端)側には、板状の耐摩耗性部材(プレート)31がボルト32等により着脱自在に固定されており、該プレート31はプレート31の移送始端側の端部31aが処理胴13の前端端板27の外周に突出せしめられている。なお上記プレート31は熱処理(焼き入れ)により硬度が高められており、耐摩耗性が保たれている。

このため処理物に含まれる砂等による移送らせん29の始端部分への当接時のエネルギーはプレート31が受けるが、前述のようにプレート31は熱処理され耐摩耗性が向上せしめられた耐摩耗性部材であるため容易に摩耗することはなく、結局移送らせん29の始端部分の摩耗が防止され、移送らせん29の移送性能が保持される。このときプレート31の移送始端側が処理胴13の前端端板27の外周方向に突出しているため、処理物内のわらくず等の処理胴13側(ドラム26等)への巻き付き等も防止される。

【発明の効果】
以上のように構成される本発明の構造によれば、例えば熱処理を施した高硬度の耐摩耗性部材が移送らせんの始端側に取り付けられることで、最初に耐摩耗性部材と処理物とが当接するため、移送らせんの摩耗が防止され、処理物の案内作動等が安定して行われる他、移送らせん自体の硬度を必要以上に高くする必要が無いため、移送らせんの加工が容易であるという効果がある。
