BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a camera including an image sensor unit having an image sensor that obtains an image signal corresponding to light irradiated on its own photoelectric conversion surface, and more specifically, a camera including a dustproof structure of an image sensor and the same It is related with the imaging unit used for.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, a solid-state imaging device such as a charge coupled device (for example, a charge coupled device) in which a subject image formed based on a light beam from a subject (hereinafter referred to as a subject light beam) that has passed through a photographing optical system (also referred to as a photographing lens) is disposed at a predetermined position. CCD: Charge Coupled Device (hereinafter simply referred to as an imaging device) and the like, and an electrical image signal representing a desired subject image is generated using the photoelectric conversion action of the imaging device. Then, a signal based on the image signal or the like is output to a predetermined display device such as a liquid crystal display (LCD) to display an image or the like, or an image signal generated by an image sensor or the like Is recorded in a predetermined recording area of a predetermined recording medium as image data of a predetermined form, and the image data recorded on the recording medium is read out and a display device is displayed on the image data. A so-called digital still camera or digital camera configured to display an image corresponding to the converted image signal based on the processed image signal after conversion processing so that the image signal is optimal for display using a display. Digital cameras such as video cameras (hereinafter referred to as digital cameras or simply cameras) are generally put into practical use and widely used.
[0003]
In general digital cameras, an optical viewfinder device is provided for the purpose of observing a desired subject to be photographed prior to a photographing operation and setting a photographing range including the subject. It is common.
[0004]
This optical viewfinder device uses a reflecting member or the like disposed on the optical axis of the photographic optical system to fold the traveling direction of the subject light beam that has passed through the photographic optical system to form an observation subject image at a predetermined position. On the other hand, during the photographing operation, the reflecting member is retracted from the optical axis of the photographing optical system to guide the subject luminous flux to the light receiving surface of the image sensor, that is, the photoelectric conversion surface, and the subject for photographing on the photoelectric conversion surface. A so-called single-lens reflex finder apparatus or the like configured to form an image is generally used.
[0005]
In recent years, a single-lens reflex type finder device is provided, and a photographic optical system is configured to be detachable with respect to the camera body. A so-called interchangeable lens digital camera that is configured so that a plurality of types of photographing optical systems can be selectively used in a single camera body by attaching and detaching to and from the camera is generally put into practical use.
[0006]
In such a digital camera having a replaceable lens, when the photographing optical system is removed from the camera body, dust or the like floating in the air may enter the camera body. Also, there are various mechanically operated mechanisms such as the shutter / aperture mechanism inside the camera body, so that dust may be generated during the operation from these various mechanisms. There is also.
[0007]
On the other hand, when the photographic optical system is removed from the camera body, the light receiving surface (also referred to as a photoelectric conversion surface) of the image sensor disposed behind the photographic optical system is exposed to the outside air inside the camera. Therefore, dust or the like may adhere to the photoelectric conversion surface of the image sensor due to factors such as charging.
[0008]
Therefore, in a conventional single-lens reflex digital camera or the like, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-29132 discloses a technique for suppressing dust and the like from adhering to the light receiving surface of an image sensor due to charging action or the like. It is proposed by the gazette.
[0009]
The means disclosed in the above Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-29132 is a single-lens reflex digital camera in which a lens can be exchanged. By applying a DC voltage or an AC voltage having a frequency of about several kHz to 20 kHz to this electrode, it is possible to suppress dust and the like from adhering to the light receiving surface of the image sensor due to a charging action. It is.
[0010]
According to the means disclosed in the publication, it is possible to suppress dust and the like from adhering to the light receiving surface of the image sensor due to static electricity or the like by neutralizing the charge generated in the image sensor. It is.
[0011]
On the other hand, as an image sensor in a conventional digital camera, a so-called packaged image sensor (for example, a package CCD) is widely used. In recent years, apart from such an image sensor, It has been proposed to supply a naked CCD chip called a so-called bare chip CCD to the market.
[0012]
In such a bare chip CCD, since there is a high possibility that dust or the like adheres to the photoelectric conversion surface, a piezoelectric element is provided between the bare chip CCD and a substrate on which the bare chip CCD is placed. For example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 9-130654 proposes a means for vibrating the bare chip CCD itself by applying a predetermined voltage and thereby shaking off dust or the like adhering to the photoelectric conversion surface. It is disclosed.
[0013]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the means disclosed in the above-mentioned Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2000-29132 suppresses dust and the like from adhering by neutralizing the charge of the charged image sensor, so that for example, static electricity Regardless, it is considered that the means for removing dust or the like simply attached or deposited on the photoelectric conversion surface of the image sensor is not optimal.
[0014]
Further, since the means disclosed in the above-mentioned Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 9-130654 is a means devised with the bare chip CCD in mind, a package CCD generally used in a conventional digital camera. Therefore, it cannot be said that it is an optimum means for applying to an image pickup device having such a form.
[0015]
In other words, when the means disclosed in the above-mentioned Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 9-130654 is applied to a general form of package CCD or the like, for example, vibration is applied to the image sensor itself or its package. Therefore, there is a possibility that adverse effects such as mechanical deterioration and deviation will be exerted on the image pickup device and various mechanisms disposed in the vicinity thereof due to this excitation action.
[0016]
On the other hand, the applicant of the present application previously described in Japanese Patent Application No. 2000-401291 is provided with a dustproof member that seals or protects the photoelectric conversion surface side of the image sensor, so that dust or the like adheres to the photoelectric conversion surface of the image sensor. Proposes a means for removing dust by adhering to the dust-proof member with a predetermined amplitude by a predetermined vibration member against dust attached to the outer surface of the dust-proof member. ing.
[0017]
According to this means, it is possible to replace a lens that can prevent dust and the like from adhering to the photoelectric conversion surface of the image sensor with a small and simple mechanism and can easily remove dust and the like adhering to the outer surface side of the dust-proof member. It is possible to configure a digital camera of a different form.
[0018]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described points. The object of the present invention is to provide a dustproof member that seals and protects the photoelectric conversion surface side of the image sensor, and the dustproof member has a predetermined shape. A camera that uses an imaging device unit that includes a vibration-exciting member that gives vibrations of amplitude, suppresses attenuation of the vibration of the dust-proof member with a simple configuration, ensures stable vibration of the dust-proof member, and It is an object of the present invention to provide a camera capable of easily and reliably removing attached dust and the like, and an image sensor unit used therefor.
