具体的には、この継手は、リング状シール(ゴム製)と、シールの外周に位置せしめてなる2個の半月状の締付けリング(金属製)と、締付けリングの内径を小さくする方に作用する締付ボルトで構成されており、連結しようとする隣接管の端面を正確に一致せしめ、隣接する両管にまたがってリング状シールを嵌挿すると共に、締付けボルトの操作で金属リングを締付け、締付け金属リングでシールを強圧し、締付け金属リングの脚を凹条に係合してなるものである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで前記の管路接続は、金属管の端部を正確に一致させる作業が必要であり、且つ当該連結作業は、シールによる密閉作業も兼ねているので、正確な連結作業が要求される。従って必ずしも作業能率上優れているとは言い難い。そこで本願出願人は、連結作業が容易で作業性に優れた管路連結構造を提案した(特願2001−046236)。

【課題を解決する手段】
本発明に係る管路構造は、連結対象の一方の管路端に他方の連結対象管が密挿される鞘管を設け、他方の挿入する連結対象管の端部近傍に係止突部を形成し、前記鞘管端部近傍内周面に、前記係止突部が係合する係合凹条部と、係合凹条部奥方にシール収納凹条部を設けると共に、係合凹条部が開口端に露出して係止突部が進出可能とする開口端切欠部を形成し、係止突部が係合凹条部に位置した際の挿入管外周面がシール収納凹条部に内装したリングシールで密封されるようにし、挿入管の係止部を切欠部から移動して切欠部に面した係合凹条部を空所とした際に、前記空所凹条部を塞ぎ且つ開口端切欠部を満たすと共に、鞘管又は挿入管への係止構造を備えた樹脂製装着体を装着してなることを特徴とするものである。

【発明の実施形態】
次に本発明の実施形態について説明する。実施形態に示した管路連結構造は、他方の連結対象管Bが密挿される鞘管1を設けた連結対象管Aと、係止突部2を設けた連結対象管(挿入管)Bと、連結状態の対象管A,Bの離脱防止用の樹脂製装着体3で構成されるものである。
