従来の振出竿では、穂先側の内部竿体を竿元側の外部竿体に挿入する際に、外部竿体の穂先側端面が内部竿体の外周面に接触し、内部竿体の外周面が摩耗してしまう場合がある。内部竿体の表面には、耐水性,耐久性,意匠性の向上を図って様々な塗装が施されているが、この外部竿体の穂先側端面との接触により、塗装が剥げ落ちてしまう恐れがある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
発明1にかかる釣竿は、振出式の釣竿であって、穂先側端部内周面に防摩耗樹脂層を有する外部竿体と、外部竿体の穂先側に外部竿体に収納可能なように連結されている内部竿体とを備えている。
この場合には、内部竿体の外周面が接触する可能性が高い外部竿体の穂先側端部内周面に防摩耗樹脂層が形成されている。この防摩耗樹脂層は、竿体を構成する樹脂層に比べ柔らかく、他の部材と接触しても他の部材を摩耗させることがない。この結果、内部竿体を外部竿体内に出し入れする際に、外部竿体外周面が摩耗して傷つくことがない。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の一実施形態について、図面を参照しつつ説明する。
(全体構成)
本発明の第1実施形態を採用した釣竿は、図1に示すように、外部竿体1と、外部竿体1の穂先側に外部竿体1内に収納可能なように連結された複数の内部竿体2とを有している。外部竿体1は、竿尻側端部に設けられたグリップ3と、グリップ3よりやや穂先側の外周面に設けられリール5が装着可能なリールシート4と、リールシート4の穂先側の外周面に設けられリール5からの釣糸Lを竿体内部に挿入する釣糸導入孔6とを有している。内部竿体2は、複数の竿体が順次挿入して収納可能になっており、穂先側先端にはトップガイド7が設けられている。そして、リール5から導かれた釣糸Lは、釣糸導入孔6から外部竿体1及び内部竿体2内に導入され、トップガイド7から外部へ導かれる。

(外部竿体1の製造方法)
本発明の一実施形態を採用した外部竿1は、以下のようにして製造される。
図3(a)に示すように、まず、所定のテーパが形成されたマンドレル100の外周にワックス等の離型剤(図示せず)等を塗布し、その穂先側の外周面にポリエステル繊維に樹脂を含浸させた防摩耗プリプレグ101を巻回する。なお、防摩耗プリプレグ101としては、ポリエステル繊維の不織布に合成樹脂を含浸させたポリエステル製不織布材を用いてもよい。

次に、図3(b)に示すように、炭素繊維の強化繊維に樹脂を含浸させたシート状のプリプレグ102を加圧しながら巻回する。このプリプレグ102は複数枚巻回され、例えば、4枚のプリプレグ102が順次巻回される。ここで、最も内側の第1プリプレグは、テープの長さ方向に強化繊維が配向されたものを用いて形成され、外部竿体2の円周方向に強化繊維群が配向される。また、第1プリプレグの外周に順次巻回される第2〜第4のプリプレグ層は、テープの幅方向に強化繊維が配向されたものを用いて形成され、第2〜第4強化繊維群がマンドレルの軸方向に配向された状態になる。

このようにして、図3(c)に示すように、防摩耗プリプレグ101及び複数のプリプレグ102を巻回した後、さらにその外周にポリエステルテレフタレートやポリプロピレンからなる保護用テープ(図示せず)を巻回して竿素材を得る。得られた竿素材を外周側から圧を加えて焼成し、マンドレル100を抜き取り保護用テープを剥離する。そして、両端部を切り落とし、さらに、表面を研磨し必要な塗材を塗布して、図4に示すように、穂先側端部内周面に防摩耗樹脂層が形成された外部竿体1を製造する。
