上記のような運搬用台車等に使用されている格子構造のパネル43〜45は、トラック輸送時等においてロープ掛けにより固定されるようなとき、ロープの締め過ぎによりパネル43〜45の周囲枠48等が内側に変形する場合が多い。このようなパネルの変形が生じたとき、従来は、手で周囲枠等の変形した箇所を外向きに引っ張ったり、ハンマーで外向きに打ち叩く等して、変形を元に戻す作業が行われていたが、その作業は作業者に多大の労力を強いるにもかかわらず、満足し得るような結果を得ることは容易でなかった。
