Moreover, although the surface light source device described in
[0014]
An object of the present invention is to provide a surface light source device that can accurately and easily fix a light source of a tubular body to a light guide plate, and further suppress luminance unevenness and effectively radiate the light source. It is in.
[0015]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The surface light source device of the present invention includes a light source insertion portion that is inserted through a predetermined length including a region where both ends of the light source emit light at at least one side end of a flat plate portion having a light exit surface in the light guide plate, and a light source The support member includes a fitting portion that fits with the light source by inserting both ends of the light source and that fits with the light source insertion portion by being inserted into the insertion hole of the light source insertion portion.
[0016]
In this configuration, since the light source of the tubular body is held only at both ends thereof, it is easy to insert the light source into the insertion hole and fix it. In addition, since only the both ends of the light source are fixed so as to be covered close to the light guide plate (light source insertion portion), the light emission amount of the light source is smaller than that of the light source central portion not covered by the light guide plate (light source insertion portion). The amount of light incident on the light guide plate from a small number of both ends can be increased, and the luminance difference between the both ends and the center is improved. Furthermore, since the central part having a larger calorific value than the both end parts is not covered with the light guide plate, it is easy to radiate heat, and it is possible to suppress deterioration of characteristics due to heat of each plate and sheet disposed on both the upper and lower surfaces of the light guide plate. .
[0017]
In addition, the surface light source device of the present invention includes a lamp reflector that reflects light from the light source and enters the light guide plate, and inserts the lamp reflector and the light source insertion portion of the light guide plate into the light source support member. It is characterized by having a fitting groove.
[0018]
In this configuration, since the lamp reflector is also fixed by the light source support member, the work load is reduced. In addition, the positional relationship between the lamp reflector and the light source can be easily fixed.
[0019]
The surface light source device of the present invention is characterized in that a concave portion having a curved surface is provided on a side end surface of the light guide plate where the light source insertion portion is provided.
[0020]
In this configuration, the amount of incident light from the central portion of the light source not covered by the light source insertion portion is adjusted by the shape of the concave portion on the side end face, and luminance unevenness of the light guide plate is improved.

Moreover, since the light source insertion part is also fixed by the lamp holder at the same time, the positional relationship among the light source, the light guide plate, and the lamp reflector can be fixed accurately and easily. Thereby, it is possible to easily manufacture a surface light source device that is excellent in positional accuracy of each component, that is, a surface light source device that can accurately obtain desired luminance characteristics.
[0037]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, the light source insertion portion in which the insertion hole through which the light source of the tubular body is inserted is formed on the incident surface side of the light guide plate, and only the both ends of the light source are fixed to the insertion hole by the lamp holder, whereby the light source The surface light source device having a uniform luminance can be configured by allowing light to be guided to the light guide plate at both ends where the amount of emitted light is small compared to the central portion, with lower loss than the central portion. Further, since the light source and the light guide plate are simultaneously fixed by the lamp holder, it is easy to accurately hold the light source and the light guide plate at predetermined positions.
[0038]
In addition, according to the present invention, since the central portion of the light source is not covered with the light source insertion portion (light guide plate), the heat dissipating property is better than both end portions, and the heat generated by the light source is diffused by the light guide plate and diffusion. Propagation to the plate, the prism sheet, and the reflection plate is difficult, and deterioration of the characteristics of each plate and sheet due to this heat can be suppressed. Accordingly, it is possible to configure a surface light source device with excellent reliability that is less likely to cause characteristic changes such as luminance change and luminance unevenness according to the lighting time.
[0039]
Further, according to the present invention, the amount of light incident on the central portion can be adjusted by providing a concave portion having a predetermined shape on the light incident surface, and the widthwise end portion and the center of the incident surface on the light guide plate Accordingly, a surface light source device can be configured in which the luminance unevenness with the portion is improved and the luminance is uniform over the entire surface.

According to the present invention, the light source, the light source insertion portion of the light guide plate, and the lamp reflector can be fixed at the same time with the lamp holder, so that the positional relationship between the light source, the light guide plate, and the lamp reflector is accurately and easily fixed. Therefore, it is possible to easily manufacture a surface light source device that is excellent in positional accuracy of each component, that is, a surface light source device that can obtain desired luminance characteristics. In addition, since the lamp reflector can be fixed without using screws or the like, the number of members can be reduced, and the fixing process using screws can be reduced and the work load can be reduced.
