従来、所定の情報を印字した単票の帳票を、徐々に降下する集積台の上に次々と供給することにより積層状態として収納して行くスタッカが使用されている。また、その帳票を集積台上に積層状態となるように集積して行く際、連続して供給されてくる帳票を、関連のある帳票の単位毎に区分け(以下、名寄せという)するため、名寄せすべき関連のある帳票の最後のものとその上に積み重ねられる次の帳票との間に、幅の狭い合紙を、少なくともその一端が帳票の端縁から外側に延び出すように挿入する合紙挿入装置を備えたものも知られている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】

本発明は上記問題点を解決するため、積み重ねて行く帳票の間に合紙を挿入するに際し、帳票の面方向にずらした位置に選択的に合紙を、その合紙の両端が前記帳票の両側に延び出すように挿入する構成としたものであり、この構成により、積み重ねた帳票に対して合紙を挿入した位置が複数個所に分散され、合紙挿入による盛り上がりが複数個所に分散されて、個々の盛り上がりは小さくなり、帳票が崩れにくくなる。ここで、合紙を帳票の面方向にずらした位置に選択的に挿入するための機構としては、1台の合紙挿入装置を用い、その合紙挿入装置を、合紙挿入の都度移動させる構成としてもよいが、この代わりに、定位置に配置された複数の合紙挿入装置を備えた構成とすることが好ましい。複数の合紙挿入装置を用いた場合、1台の合紙挿入装置が故障した時には、残りの合紙挿入装置で合紙挿入を行うことができるため、名寄せ機能は損なわれない。
