Claims (6)
- 加入者網で加入者に放送データを分配する加入者分配装置において、
入力されたMPEG2 MPTS(multiple program transport streams)フレームに対する内容を確認し、これを複数個のSPTS(single program transport streams)に分離するPID(Program ID)フィルター部と、
前記分離されたSPTSのためにPAT(Program Allocation Table)及びPMT(Program Map Table)の内容を変更して再生成するテーブル再生成部と、
DMA(Direct Memory Access)方式によって前記PIDフィルター部によるSPTSの放送データをSPTSバッファーのメモリ領域にPID別に指定されたポインターに対応して貯蔵するSPTS分離貯蔵部と、
DMA(Direct Memory Access)方式によって前記加入者が要求したプログラムのPIDに対応するポインターの前記SPTSバッファーのメモリ領域から放送データを抽出した後、該加入者に割り当てられた加入者バッファーのメモリ領域に貯蔵する加入者分配部と、
上位ネットワークからMPTSの情報を受信して前記PIDフィルター部及び前記テーブル再生成部に提供し、前記加入者が要求するプログラム情報をCCP(Channel Change Protocol)を通じて当該加入者から受信して前記加入者分配部に提供する制御部と、を備えたことを特徴とする加入者分配装置。 - PIDフィルター部を構成する複数個のフィルターが、MPTSから分離されるSPTSの数に対応して設置される請求項1に記載の加入者分配装置。
- PIDフィルター部は、MPEG2 MPTSに含まれた多数のPIDをフィルタリングするために一つ以上のPIDフィルターを含む請求項1に記載の加入者分配装置。
- 加入者別に貯蔵されたSPTSを加入者に伝送できるストリームに転換する加入者インタフェースを更に備える請求項1に記載の加入者分配装置。
- 加入者網で加入者に放送データを分配する加入者分配方法において、
上位ネットワークからMPEG2 MPTS(Multiple Program Transport Streams)を受信すると、MPTSフレームをMPTS情報及びMPTSテーブル情報によるPID(Program ID)に応じてSPTS(Single Program Transport Streams)に分離してDMA(Direct Memory Access)方式によって前記PIDフィルタリングされたSPTSの放送データを前記SPTSバッファーのメモリ領域にPID別に指定されたポインターに対応して貯蔵する段階と、
前記分離されたSPTSのためにPAT(Program Allocation Table)及びPMT(Program Map Table)の内容を変更して再生成する段階と、
加入者からのプログラム要求をCCP(Channel Change Protocol)を通じて受信し、DMA方式によって前記加入者が要求したプログラムのPIDに対応するポインターの前記SPTSバッファーのメモリ領域から放送データを抽出した後、加入者に割り当てられた加入者バッファーのメモリ領域に貯蔵する段階と、
前記加入者別に貯蔵された放送データを各加入者に伝送する段階と、を含むことを特徴とする加入者分配方法。 - SPTSの分離のために、SPTSの数に対応した個数のPIDフィルターを利用する段階を更に含む請求項5に記載の放送データ分配方法。
