Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a book decoration headband and a method of manufacturing the same.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In general, as shown in FIG. 8 (a), the headband H is composed of a single meandering weft a whose adjacent portions are parallel to each other and a plurality of warps b woven to intersect the parallel portion of the weft a. For example, by a narrow woven fabric woven in a belt shape by a needle type loom. Then, as shown in FIG. 9, after the headband H wound around the reel c and pulled out from the reel c is cut into a predetermined dimension by the cutting blade d, as shown in FIG. It is interposed between the upper and lower ends and the back cover f and is used for reinforcement and decoration of the binding portion of the book e. For this reason, beautiful colors and strengths that are common to textiles are required, but the length is cut into several centimeters for adhesion due to the particularity of the application, so high adhesion is also required. Therefore, in the headband of another manufacturing method called the flower cloth headband, in order to improve the adhesion, a material in which a thin paper is laminated on a fabric is used as a material and processed so that the thin paper appears on the adhesive surface. Yes.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in a book binding headband formed by weaving a single meandering weft whose adjacent portions are parallel to each other and a plurality of warp yarns woven crossing the parallel portions of the weft, a thin paper is used. Although a method of laminating so as to appear on the adhesive surface is also conceivable, there is a problem that this method requires a lot of man-hours and labor and increases costs.
[0004]
In addition, if the cutting is forcibly performed, the cutting edge is narrowed as shown in FIG. 8 (b), and there is a possibility that a defective product may be continuously produced. This reduces the yield and the product quality in the continuous bookbinding process. There was a problem of causing a drop.
[0005]
By the way, in the bookbinding process, in recent years, automatic bookbinding machines having a capacity of several hundred to several thousand books per hour have become widespread. Become intense. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 8 (b), the cut of the headband H is incomplete, the width of the warp b of the cut end of the headband H followed by the weft a that has not been cut is reduced, There was a problem of causing a shift in the bonding position.
[0006]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and provides a headband for book decoration and a manufacturing method capable of improving adhesion to a book and improving cutting performance by a simple manufacturing method. Objective.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, the present invention is configured as follows.
[0008]
(1) The invention according to
[0009]
According to the first aspect of the present invention, the adhesion promoter mixed with the paste and the pulp or the hydrophilic short fiber is applied to the ground portion leaving the ear portion on one side of the headband as described above. Thus, the headband can be easily cut to a predetermined size, and the adhesiveness to the back of the book can be improved by the action of pulp or hydrophilic short fibers. Moreover, the cutting part can be prevented from being unwound by the adhesive action of the adhesion promoter.
[0010]
(2) The invention according to
[0011]
According to the second aspect of the present invention, in the process of immersing the headband woven in a band shape in the paste, applying the paste, and drying, the ground portion that leaves the ears on one side of the headband is left. Since an adhesion promoter obtained by mixing a paste and pulp or hydrophilic short fibers can be applied, a headband excellent in adhesiveness and cutability can be produced with fewer steps.
