Description

The present invention relates to an improvement in assembling work of a window regulator for raising and lowering a window glass of a vehicle and the window glass.

As shown in FIG. 5, an X-arm type window regulator is generally used as a window regulator installed on a front door D of a wagon car or the like.

This type of window regulator includes a lift arm 1 provided inside a door D by a drive mechanism 10 such as an electric motor so as to be pivotable up and down about a support shaft 11, and between the lift arm 1. And an equalizer arm 2 which crosses the X shape and is provided so as to be rotatable relative to the lift arm 1 by a support shaft 21, and is slidably connected to the ends of both arms 1 and 2, and is substantially horizontally back and forth. The rail member 3 extending in the vertical direction is moved up and down, and the lower edge of the window glass W is assembled to the rail member 3 to move the window glass W up and down. In the window glass W, the glass leading edge and the glass trailing edge are slidably guided in the vertical direction by the front and rear glass rails 61 and 62, respectively.

As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the conventional structure for assembling the window glass W to the rail member 3 is a channel member along the lower edge of the glass when laminated glass such as IR cut glass is used as the window glass W. 40 is fitted, and brackets 4A made of metal plates are fixed to the front end portion and the rear end portion of the channel member 40, respectively. The bracket 4A is formed with a tongue-like fastening portion 41 protruding downward from the channel member 40, and a screw hole 42 is formed in the center of the fastening portion 41 by a weld nut 43. On the other hand, at both front and rear ends of the rail member 3 of the window regulator, a fastening portion 31 facing each bracket 4A is provided, and a bolt through hole 32 is formed at the center of the fastening portion 31.

The window glass W is assembled to the rail member 3 in advance by setting the rail member 3 of the window regulator at the set position Y located in the middle in the vertical direction in the door, and the window glass W is attached to the lower edge of the door window opening. The door outer panel and the door inner panel are inserted into the door, and the channel member 40 at the lower edge of the glass is brought into contact with the rail member 3 and placed on the rail member 3. Thereafter, the rail member 3 is moved in the front-rear direction, and the fastening portion 31 of the rail member 3 is fastened with the overlapping bolt B on the surface of the fastening portion 41 of the bracket 4A on the window glass W side in the inner and outer directions of the door.

By the way, in the conventional structure, after the window glass W is inserted into the door and placed on the rail member 3, the rail member 3 is moved in the front-rear direction in order to correct the positional displacement of the rail member 3 with respect to the window glass W in the front-rear direction. At this time, the clearance of the connecting portion between the rail member 3 and the lift arm 1 and the equalizer arm 2 and the clearance between the window glass W and the glass rails 61 and 62 are provided. The fastening portion 31 of the rail member 3 may be displaced in the front and back direction with respect to the fastening portion 41 of the window glass W. In particular, the fastening portion 31 of the rail member 3 is positioned on the back side of the fastening portion 41 as shown in FIG. If the rail member 3 is shifted, the fastening portion 31 of the rail member 3 hits the fastening portion 41 side edge of the window glass W or enters the back side of the fastening portion 41 even if the rail member 3 is moved in the front-rear direction. Resulting inconvenience put away is, takes work troublesome task of superimposing the fastening portion 31 of the rail member 3 to the surface of the fastening portion 41 of the window glass W.

In addition, in order to facilitate the assembly work of the window regulator and the window glass in the conventional window regulator, a rail member (glass bracket) that is lifted and lowered by the lift arm of the window regulator as described in Patent Document 1 below. By setting the window glass on the rail member around the fastening portion (fixing portion) for fastening the lower edge of the window glass, the bracket (glass holder) on the lower edge of the window glass is attached to the fastening portion ( A guide slope that is guided to the fixed portion) while being corrected in position is formed by bending and integrally forming with the rail member. However, if the misalignment between the rail member and the window glass is large, and the bracket on the lower edge of the window glass deviates beyond the guide inclined surface of the rail member, the misalignment is corrected with the window glass raised. This requires a lot of work.
JP 2002-115446 A

Therefore, the present invention provides a structure for ascending / descending window glass that has a simple structure and can align both fastening portions with good workability when the window glass is assembled to the rail member of the window regulator. It was made as an issue.

The present invention relates to a window provided with a lift arm that is disposed inside a door of a vehicle and is rotatable in the vertical direction, and a rail member that is supported at the tip of the lift arm so as to be relatively slidable in the front-rear direction. In the assembling structure of the window glass that is assembled to the regulator by fastening the window glass inserted into the door by fastening brackets fixed to the lower edge to the front and rear ends of the rail member, the rail member A fastening portion is formed at both the front and rear end portions, and a fastening portion that projects downward from the lower edge of the window glass and is fastened to the fastening portion of the rail member in a direction inside and outside the door is formed on the bracket. The rail member in a state in which the window glass is held at the edge of the fastening portion in the front-rear direction so that the fastening portion of the bracket is at the same height as the fastening portion of the rail member. When the rail member fastening portion is overlapped with the bracket fastening portion by moving in the front-rear direction, the rail member fastening portion is overlapped with the bracket fastening portion in a normal direction inside and outside the door. A guide portion for guiding is formed (claim 1). When the rail member is moved in the front-rear direction, the leading edge of the fastening portion comes into contact with the guide portion of the fastening portion on the window glass side, and is slid and guided along the guide portion. ) Is corrected, and both fastening portions can be superposed in the normal direction with good workability.

The guide portion is provided on a front edge and a rear edge of a fastening portion of each bracket. Thereby, the bracket on the front end side and the bracket on the rear end side of the lower edge of the window glass can be shared.

The fastening portion and the guide portion of the bracket are integrally formed from a metal plate, the fastening portion is flat, and the guide portion is bent from the fastening portion and protrudes obliquely forward or obliquely backward. The bracket has a simple structure in which both the front and rear ends of the metal plate forming the fastening part are bent, and the production cost is low.

According to the assembling structure of the elevating window glass of the present invention, the window glass has a simple structure in which the guide portion is provided at the fastening portion of the bracket on the window glass side, and the window glass is assembled during the assembling operation of the rail member of the window regulator and the window glass. On the other hand, by moving the rail member in the front-rear direction, both fastening portions can be aligned with good workability.

An embodiment in which the present invention is applied to an X-arm type window regulator installed on a front door D of a wagon car or the like shown in FIG. 5 will be described. The basic structure of the window regulator is the same as in the prior art, and the lift arm 1 is pivotally supported by the support shaft 11 on the inner panel of the door D so as to be vertically rotatable. At the base end of the lift arm 1, a meshing gear is provided on the outer periphery having an arc shape, and the meshing gear meshes with the rotation gear of the driving device 10 composed of an electric motor or the like. Rotate up and down.

The equalizer arm 2 intersects the lift arm 1 in an approximately X shape, and is pivotally attached to the lift arm 1 by a support shaft 21 at the intersection. The base end of the equalizer arm 2 is connected to a rail-like equalizer bracket 5 that is fixed to the inner panel of the door D and extends substantially horizontally in the front-rear direction so as to be slidable in the front-rear direction.

A rail member 3 that extends substantially horizontally in the front-rear direction is provided at the front end of the lift arm 1 and the front end of the equalizer arm 2 so as to bridge them. The rail member 3 has a substantially C-shaped cross section, and sliding portions 12 and 22 attached to the tip of the lift arm 1 and the tip of the equalizer arm 2 are fitted into the rail, respectively, On the other hand, it is slidably connected in the front-rear direction.

When the lift arm 1 is rotated downward by the rotational drive of the driving device 10, the wind regulator moves downward along the rail member 3 while the sliding portion 12 at the tip of the lift arm 1 slides along the rail member 3. Pull down. On the other hand, the equalizer arm 2 is regulated by the equalizer bracket 5 by the downward rotation of the lift arm 1 and is opposite to the lift arm 1 around the support shaft 21 that is a connection point with the lift arm 1. It rotates and the front part of the rail member 3 is pulled down while the sliding part 22 at the tip slides along the rail member 3. Thereby, the rail member 3 moves downward while maintaining the horizontal posture. On the contrary, when the lift arm 1 is rotated upward, the rail member 3 moves upward while maintaining the horizontal posture by the reverse operation.

In the window regulator, the window glass W is assembled by fastening the front end and the rear end of the rail member 3 to the brackets 4 provided at the front and rear ends of the lower edge of the window glass W, respectively. Hereinafter, the fastening structure of the rail member 3 to which the present invention is applied and the bracket 4 of the window glass W will be described with reference to FIGS. In addition, the fastening structure before and behind the lower edge of the window glass W is substantially the same, and in each figure, it demonstrates centering on the fastening structure of the rear end of the rail member 3 and the bracket 4 of a glass lower edge rear end.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the rail member 3 has a substantially C-shaped cross section with a vertical wall portion 3a, and an upper wall portion 3b and a lower wall portion 3c bent from the upper and lower edges of the vertical wall portion 3a. Make. On the rear end of the rail member 3, a fastening portion 31 is formed by extending the vertical wall portion 3a rearward. A bolt through hole 32 for penetrating the bolt member B is formed in the center of the fastening portion 31. The upper edge and the lower edge of the fastening part 31 are formed in an inclined shape so that the rear end of each of the upper wall part 3b and the lower wall part 3c is gradually reduced toward the rear edge of the fastening part 31. This is a reinforcing flange that reinforces the strength of the fastening portion 31. Reference numeral 33 in FIGS. 1 and 3 denotes a stopper that is bent downward from the rear end of the upper wall portion 3b and prohibits the backward movement of the sliding portion 12 of the lift arm 1.

The window glass W made of laminated glass is provided with a channel member 40 along the lower edge. The channel member 40 is made of a long metal member having a substantially U-shaped cross section, and the lower edge of the window glass W is fitted therein via a buffer member 401. A bracket 4 protruding downward is fixed to the rear end of the channel member 40.

As shown in FIG. 1 to FIG. 4, the bracket 4 is made of a metal plate, and a vertical wall-shaped attachment portion 45 that is welded to the back surface of the channel member 40 is provided at the upper end portion. A pair of front and rear protrusions that are bent substantially at right angles from the lower edge front end and the lower edge rear end of the mounting portion 45 and protrude to the bracket surface side at the front end on the door front side and the rear end on the rear side of the door in the mounting state of the bracket 4 respectively. 46 is formed. At the intermediate position in the front-rear direction of the bracket 4, a stepped portion is formed that slightly protrudes from the front-rear intermediate position of the lower edge of the mounting portion 45 toward the bracket surface, and is bent from the protruding end of the stepped portion and protrudes downward The fastening portion 41 is formed. A screw hole 42 is formed at the center of the fastening portion 41, and a weld nut 43 is welded to the back side.

The fastening portion 41 of the bracket 4 protrudes forward from the lower half of the front end edge and bends obliquely toward the back side, and protrudes rearward from the lower half of the rear end edge and obliquely toward the back side. The guide portion 44 is bent. Both the front and rear guide portions 44 have the same shape, and the bending angle toward the back surface side is about 45 degrees. Each guide portion 44 has a protruding distance t from the front surface to the back surface side of the fastening portion 41 of about 5 mm or slightly larger.

In the bracket 4, the mounting portion 45 and the front and rear projections 46 are brought into contact with the back surface and the bottom surface of the channel member 40, and the mounting portion 45 is fixed to the back surface of the channel member 40 by welding. The front and rear protrusions 46 have a protrusion length longer than the width of the lower surface of the channel member 40 and protrude toward the surface side of the channel member 40. Since the fastening portion 41 protrudes to the surface side from the attachment portion 45 due to a step, the fastening portion 41 is located at the lower edge of the window glass W and the center in the front and back direction of the lower surface of the channel member 40. In addition, since the bracket 4 has a front / rear structure around the screw hole 42, the bracket 4 can be shared with one fixed to the front end of the channel member 40 and one fixed to the rear end.

In order to assemble the lower edge of the window glass W to the rail member 3 of the window regulator, the vertical position of the rail member 3 is set to the set position Y (FIG. 5) in the door in advance. By setting the rail member 3 to the set position Y, the front and rear fastening portions 31 are positioned to face the work holes 63 and 64 (FIG. 5) formed in the door inner panel, and the window glass W is assembled from the work holes 63 and 64. Attaching work becomes possible.

Thereafter, the window glass W is inserted into the door through the gap between the door outer panel at the lower edge of the door window opening and the door inner panel, and the glass front edge and the glass rear edge are fitted into the front and rear glass rails 61 and 62, and the door D The window glass W is lowered downward along the front and rear glass rails 61, 62 provided on the upper surface of the rail member 3, and the projection 46 of the bracket 4 at the lower edge of the glass is brought into contact with the upper surface of the upper wall portion 3 b of the rail member 3. Is placed on the rail member 3. At this time, since the projection 46 of the bracket 4 of the window glass W is formed longer, the lower edge of the window glass W can be reliably placed on the rail member 3.

By the way, when the window glass W is placed, the fastening portion 31 of the rail member 3 and the fastening portion 41 of the bracket 4 on the side of the window glass W are not necessarily overlapped in the front and back direction. The rail member 3 is moved in the front-rear direction to align the fastening portion 31 of the rail member 3 and the fastening portion 41 of the bracket 4. For example, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, when the fastening portion 31 of the rail member 3 is shifted forward from the fastening portion 41 of the bracket 4, the fastening portion 31 of the rail member 3 is moved rearward. However, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, even if the moving direction of the fastening portion 31 of the rail member 3 is shifted to the back side of the fastening portion 41 of the bracket 4 at this time, the rear end of the fastening portion 31 of the rail member 3. The edge abuts on the guide portion 44 on the front side of the fastening portion 41 of the bracket 4, and the fastening portion 31 of the rail member 3 is guided to the surface position of the fastening portion 41 of the bracket 4 by the guide portion 44 and fastened as in the conventional structure. The part 31 does not enter the back side of the fastening part 41 of the bracket 4. Thereafter, the fastening portions 31 and 41 are superposed in the front and back directions and fastened by the bolt member B. Incidentally, even if the deviation width of the fastening portion 31 of the rail member 3 with respect to the fastening portion 41 of the bracket 4 is greatly deviated, it is about 5 mm or less, and on the other hand, the back side of the fastening portion 41 of the guide portion 44 Since the protrusion distance t is about 5 mm, the protruding amount of the guide part 41 is equal to or larger than the maximum displacement width of the fastening part 31, and the end edge of the fastening part 31 is securely brought into contact with the guide part 41. The fastening portion 31 is guided to the surface position of the fastening portion 41 of the bracket 4. Conversely, when the fastening portion 31 of the rail member 3 is displaced to the surface side of the fastening portion 41 of the bracket 4, the fastening portions 31 and 41 are overlapped by fastening the bolt member B.

Although illustration is omitted, since the same bracket 4 as the rear end is provided at the front end of the channel member 40 at the lower edge of the window glass W, the guide described above even if the rail member 3 is shifted to the rear position. Due to the action and effect of the portion 44, the positioning of the fastening portions 31, 41 can be facilitated by moving the rail member 3 forward.

According to the present embodiment, the positioning of the fastening portion 31 of the rail member 3 of the window regulator and the fastening portion 41 of the bracket 4 of the window glass W moves both the fastening portions 31 by moving the rail member 3 in the front-rear direction. , 41 can be automatically adjusted to the position where they are superposed in the front and back directions, and the window glass W can be assembled in an excellent manner. Further, since the guide portion 44 is set to the bracket 4 on the window glass W side and is integrally formed with the bracket 4 obtained by pressing a metal plate, the structure is simple and the production cost is low.
