【従来の技術】
従来公知の葉巻カッターは、半円形の切断刃を交差させる鋏タイプのもの、円形の穴を横断する切断刃を備えた押切タイプのもの等が知られている。押切タイプの葉巻カッターは、葉巻を挿入する穴を葉巻の外径に応じたものとしなければならないため、複数の葉巻カッターを用意しなければならない不便さがある。この発明は、鋏タイプの葉巻カッターに関し、特に全体の寸法や形状を小型に形成可能としたものである。従来の鋏タイプの葉巻カッターは、支点を中心に一端に切断刃を形成し、他端に指掛け部を形成した二本の鋏部片を支点で軸支した構造が一般的である。しかしながら、かかる構造の鋏タイプでは、全体の寸法が長くなり、小型化が困難である。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
この発明は、葉巻の切断刃を大きなサイズの葉巻も切断可能な大きな寸法に形成しつつ、全体の形状、寸法をコンパクトにし得るようにした葉巻カッターを提供せんとするものである。

上記課題を解決するためにこの発明が採った手段は、一端を軸ピンにより回転自在に軸支した二つの鋏部片の他端に指掛け部を形成し、該二つの鋏部片の軸ピンと指掛け部との間に半円弧状の葉巻切断刃をそれぞれ形成し、該葉巻切断刃間に葉巻を挟持させて、該葉巻を切断することを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
この発明の好ましい実施の形態を、以下に詳細に説明する。図面を参照して、(１)はこの発明にかかる葉巻カッターを示し、一端で軸ピン(２)により回転自在に軸支された二つの鋏部片(３a)(３b)からなる。該鋏部片(３a)(３b)は、軸支部と反対側の他端に指掛け部(４a)(４b)を備え、軸ピン(２)と指掛け部(４a)(４b)との間に切断刃(５a)(５b)が形成される。切断刃(５a)(５b)は、円柱状の葉巻を切断するに適した半円弧状の刃形状に形成されている。指掛け部(４a)(４b)は、鋏部片(３a)(３b)の他端に形成された指挿入孔からなり、該指挿入孔の周囲にはゴム製の緩衝材(６)が定着されている。該緩衝材(６)は、図４に示すように重ねて軸支された鋏部片(３a)(３b)のズレに対応して厚みを表裏で異ならせて、高さが一致するようにしてある。

図示に実施態様において、鋏部片(３a)(３b)は約７５ミリの長さを有しており、従来の鋏タイプの葉巻カッターに比して約半分程度の長さのコンパクトな寸法、形状に形成されている。鋏部片がかかる短い長さであるに係わらず、切断刃(５a)(５b)は軸ピン(２)から指掛け部(４a)(４b)までの間の長さに形成することが出来るため、長い切断刃とすることが出来、太い葉巻を切断するに十分な長さの切断刃を有する葉巻カッターを得ることが可能となる。

図示の実施形態において、葉巻カッターは、全体としておむすび形に形成されているが、形状はこれに限定されるものではない。又、指掛け部の形状も穴形状である必要はない。指をかけて葉巻カッターを操作することが出来る構造であれば如何なる形状、構造であっても良い。

【発明の効果】
この発明によれば、全体の形状、寸法をコンパクトにしつつ葉巻を切断するための切断刃を十分に長いものとすることが出来る。
