【発明が解決しようとする課題】
従来の端部カバーは、出口側内径を入口側内径より大きくして段差を付けた単純な略筒状のものが多く、次のような点等で充分に満足できないものであった。

第3に、前記したような各不具合の対策として、例えば、カバーの出口側に蓋部材を装着することも考えられる。しかし、そのような蓋部材は、カバーから不用意に外れて無くなったり、取扱性に欠けるばかりでなく、対応する成形型も必要となる。なお、この種のカバーは紐類用であることから全体が小さく、衣類用のケースでは外径が5〜10mm、全長が10〜15mmの仕様となることも多い。このため、蓋部材を用いる場合、本体部への装着構造として、例えば、外観性を損なわずに取付強度を増大し難くいと言うように、新たな問題が発生する。
