本発明は、ユーザの要求に応じたコンテンツを配信するコンテンツ配信技術に関する。

【従来の技術】
サーバ装置から端末装置に、ネットワークを介して、ユーザの要求に応じたコンテンツを配信するコンテンツ配信が検討されている。サーバ装置は、複数のコンテンツファイルを格納しており、各コンテンツファイルには複数のコンテンツデータが含まれる。サーバ装置は、ユーザの要求としてユーザが指定したキーワードを端末装置から受信し、キーワードに応じてコンテンツファイルからコンテンツデータを選択して、端末装置へ配信する。

コンテンツデータを配信する方法には、ストリーミング型とダウンロード型とがある。
ストリーミング型は、サーバ装置が格納している複数のコンテンツファイルから、キーワードに合致したコンテンツデータのみを、ネットワークを介して端末装置へ順次送信し、端末装置は受信したコンテンツデータを受信した順に再生する技術である。ストリーミング型では、受信したコンテンツデータが端末装置に蓄積されないため、視聴する都度サーバ装置からコンテンツデータを受信する必要がある。

ダウンロード型は、サーバ装置から送信されるコンテンツデータを、端末装置が内部に蓄積するため、受信した時刻から遅れた時刻にコンテンツデータを再生することが可能である。ダウンロード型では、端末装置が受信したコンテンツデータが複数個ある場合、複数個のコンテンツデータの再生順序等を管理する必要があり、ユーザは煩雑な作業を要求されるという問題がある。また、キーワードに合致したコンテンツデータがコンテンツファイル内の一部分であっても、サーバ装置はコンテンツファイル単位で送信する必要があり、結果としてユーザが要求しないコンテンツデータも送信される問題もある。

これらの問題を回避するために、サーバ装置が、端末装置へ送信するコンテンツデータを1ファイルとして再生成し、再生成した1ファイルを端末装置に送信することが考えられるが、この場合、サーバ装置のディスク消費が大きくなり、端末装置の数が多いネットワーク型のサーバ装置では現実的でない。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記問題点に鑑み、本発明は、ネットワークで接続された複数の端末装置から受信する要求に応じて、各端末装置へコンテンツデータを送信し、コンテンツデータを受信した端末装置は、受信した時刻から遅れた時刻にコンテンツデータを再生することが可能な仮想コンテンツ配信システム及びサーバ装置を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために、本発明は、利用者の要求に応じて映像シーンを選択して配信するサーバ装置と前記サーバ装置から映像シーンを受信する端末装置とから構成されるコンテンツ配信システムである。
前記サーバ装置は、複数個のコンテンツファイルを記憶しており、各コンテンツファイルは、複数個のシーン情報と当該複数個のシーン情報の再生に係るシーン付加情報とから構成される。前記サーバ装置は、前記コンテンツファイルに含まれるシーン情報から、利用者の要求に合致する複数個のシーン情報を選択し、選択した複数個のシーン情報のそれぞれに対応するシーン付加情報を読み出し、当該複数個のシーン情報の再生に係る仮想シーン付加情報を生成する。更に、前記サーバ装置は、選択した複数個のシーン情報と生成した前記仮想シーン付加情報とを対応付けて端末装置へ送信する。

【発明の実施の形態】
<第1の実施の形態>
本発明に係る第1の実施の形態として、仮想コンテンツ配信システム1について、図面を参照して説明する。
仮想コンテンツ配信システム1では、サーバが、動画データ及び音声データ等から成る複数個の番組及び複数個のCMを、コンテンツとして記憶している。各番組は、複数個の番組シーンから構成され、各CMは複数個のCMシーンから構成される。番組シーン及びCMシーンはそれぞれ、意味的に繋がりのある一連のフレームである。なお、各番組シーンは、ユーザの希望に応じて番組シーンを配信する為のジャンル及びキーワードを有し、各CMシーンは、ユーザの属性に応じてCMシーンを配信する為のプロファイル情報を有する。

サーバは、ユーザの要求に応じて、複数個のコンテンツから複数個のシーンを選択して選択した複数個のシーンをクライアントへ送信する。
以下、仮想コンテンツ配信システム1の詳細について説明する。
<構成>
ここでは、仮想コンテンツ配信システム1の構成について説明する。

仮想コンテンツ配信システム1は、図1に示す様に、クライアント10、クライアント11、インターネット20、Webサーバ30、エージェント40、DBサーバ50、仮想コンテンツ出力サーバ60及び配信サーバ70から構成される。
クライアント10及びクライアント11は、仮想コンテンツ配信システム1のユーザが有する端末装置であり、インターネット20を介してそれぞれ、Webサーバ30及び配信サーバ70と接続されている。Webサーバ30、エージェント40、DBサーバ50、仮想コンテンツ出力サーバ60及び配信サーバ70は、仮想コンテンツ配信システム1のサービス提供者が有する装置であり、LAN(Local Area Network)を介して互いに接続されている。

1.クライアント10
ここでは、クライアント10の構成について説明する。クライアント10は、ユーザの操作により入力情報を受け付け、受け付けた入力情報を、インターネット20を介してWebサーバ30に送信する。また、クライアント10は、インターネット20を介して、配信サーバ70から仮想コンテンツをダウンロードする。
図2は、クライアント10の構成を示すブロック図である。同図に示す様に、クライアント10は、送受信部101、制御部102、表示部103、入力部104及び記憶部105から構成される。クライアント10は、具体的には、マイクロプロセッサ、ROM、RAM、ハードディスクユニット、ディスプレィユニット、キーボード及びマウスなどから構成されるコンピュータシステムであり、ここでは特にパーソナルコンピュータを想定している。
(1)送受信部101
送受信部101は、インターネット20を介して、制御部102とWebサーバ30、及び制御部102と配信サーバ70の間で情報の送受信を行う。具体的には、送受信部101は、Webサーバ30から画面制御情報を受信し、受信した画面制御情報を制御部102へ出力する。ここで、送受信部101がWebサーバ30から受信する画面制御情報は、プロファイル入力画面制御情報、ジャンル一覧画面制御情報及びキーワード選択画面制御情報である。また、送受信部101は、制御部102から、入力情報を受け取り、受け取った入力情報をWebサーバ30に送信する。また、送受信部101は、配信サーバ70から仮想コンテンツを受け取り、受け取った仮想コンテンツを制御部102へ出力する。送受信部101は、インターネット20を介して配信サーバ70から仮想コンテンツを受信し、受信した仮想コンテンツを制御部102へ出力する。
(2)制御部102
制御部102は、具体的にはマイクロプロセッサ及びRAMなどから構成される。前記RAMには、制御用コンピュータプログラムが記憶されており、前記マイクロプロセッサが前記制御用コンピュータプログラムを実行することにより、制御部102は、クライアント10を制御する。
制御部102は、送受信部101から画面制御情報を受け取り、受け取った画面制御情報に基づき画面を生成し、生成した画面を表示部103へ出力する。ここで、制御部102が生成する画面は、プロファイル入力画面、ジャンル一覧画面及びキーワード選択画面である。また、制御部102は、ユーザの操作により受け付けた入力情報を入力部104から受け取り、受け取った入力情報を送受信部101へ出力する。また、制御部102は、送受信部101から、仮想コンテンツを受け取り、受け取った仮想コンテンツを記憶部105に書き込む。
(3)表示部103
表示部103は、ディスプレィユニットを備え、制御部102が生成する画面を受け取り、受け取った画面をディスプレィに表示する。また、表示部103は、入力部104が受け付けた操作に応じた内容をディスプレィに表示する。
表示部103が表示する画面は、プロファイル入力画面110、ジャンル一覧画面130及びキーワード選択画面150である。
(プロファイル入力画面110)
プロファイル入力画面110は、ユーザのプロファイル入力を受け付ける為に用いられる画面であり、受け付ける項目は、「性別」、「年齢」及び「趣味」である。ここで受け付けるユーザのプロファイルは、仮想コンテンツを生成する際、当該ユーザの属性に応じたCMを含む仮想コンテンツを生成する為に用いられる情報である。
ここで、『仮想コンテンツ』とは、複数個の異なるコンテンツファイルから選択された複数個のシーン情報及び複数個のシーン情報の再生順序等を示した情報を表す。また、『仮想コンテンツを生成する』とは、複数個のシーン情報を繋ぎ合わせて1個のコンテンツファイルを生成するのではなく、複数個の異なるコンテンツファイルから、複数個のシーン情報を抽出し、抽出した複数個のシーン情報の再生順序等を示した情報を生成し、生成した前記情報を抽出した複数個のシーン情報と対応付けることを意味する。以下では、これらの語を同様の意味で用いる。
プロファイル入力画面110は、図3に示す様に、性別について「男」又は「女」の何れかを選択する為に用いるチェックボタン、年齢について「〜10代」、「20〜30代」、「40〜50代」及び「60代〜」の内の何れかを選択する為に用いるチェックボタン、趣味について「車」、「映画・イベント」、「フード・お酒」、「音楽」、「インターネット」及び「ショッピング」の内の何れかを選択する為に用いるチェックボタン、OKボタン及びキャンセルボタンを備える。表示部103は、入力部104を介して各チェックボタンを選択する入力を受け付けると、選択されたことを示すチェックを各チェックボタンに表示する。なお、チェックボタンは項目毎に一つが選択されると他が選択解除される。図3のプロファイル入力画面110は、性別が「男」、年齢が「20〜30代」、趣味が「車」の選択を受け付けた場合を示している。

(ジャンル一覧画面130)
ジャンル一覧画面130は、ユーザが配信を希望する番組のジャンルの選択を受け付ける為に用いられる画面である。番組は、その内容に応じて、「ニュース」、「スポーツ」、「音楽番組」、「映画」、「ドラマ」、「バラエティー」、「ドキュメンタリー」、「教育」、「料理番組」、「旅番組」、「ショッピング」及び「情報番組」の12種類に分類されており、これらをジャンルと呼ぶ。ジャンル一覧画面130は、図4に示す様に、ジャンルと当該ジャンルを選択する為に用いるチェックボタンの組と、OKボタン及びキャンセルボタンを備える。表示部103は、入力部104を介して各チェックボタンを選択する入力を受け付けると、選択されたことを示すチェックを各チェックボタンに表示する。なお、チェックボタンは一つが選択されると他が選択解除される。図4のジャンル一覧画面130は、「スポーツ」の選択を受け付けた場合を示している。

(キーワード選択画面150)
キーワード選択画面150は、ジャンル一覧画面130において、ユーザから「スポーツ」の入力を受け付けた場合に表示される画面であり、ユーザが配信を希望する番組を更に詳細に選択する為に用いられる画面である。「スポーツ」のジャンルには、「プロ野球」、「メジャーリーグ」、「サッカー」、「テニス」等のキーワードが含まれる。キーワード選択画面150は、図5に示す様に、キーワードと当該キーワードを選択するために用いるラジオボタンとの組、OKボタン、キャンセルボタン及びスクロールバーを備え、スクロールバーが操作されることにより画面がスクロールする。表示部103は、入力部104を介して各ラジオボタンを選択する入力を受け付けると、選択されたことを示すマークを各ラジオボタンに表示する。図5に示すキーワード選択画面150は、「プロ野球」及び「メジャーリーグ」が選択されたことを示している。なお、ラジオボタンは、同時に複数個選択することが可能である。

入力部104は、具体的にはキーボード、マウス等であって、キーボード及びマウス等がユーザにより操作されると、入力部104は、操作に相当する操作指示を表示部103に出力する。さらに、入力部104は、操作に相当する入力情報を生成し、生成した入力情報を制御部102へ出力する。

記憶部105は、ハードディスクユニットであって、制御部102が、送受信部101及びインターネット20を介して配信サーバ70から受信した仮想コンテンツを記憶する。仮想コンテンツは、具体的には複数のフレームと仮想コンテンツヘッダ情報と仮想コンテンツ付加情報とが互いに関連付けられたファイルである。

2.Webサーバ30
ここでは、Webサーバ30の構成について説明する。
Webサーバ30は、具体的には、マイクロプロセッサ、ROM、RAM、ハードディスクユニット及びLAN接続ユニットなどから構成されるコンピュータシステムであり、インターネット20を介して、クライアント10及びクライアント11と接続され、更に、LANを介してエージェント40と接続されている。なお、Webサーバ30の構成は図示していない。

Webサーバ30は、インターネット20を介してクライアント10と情報の送受信を行い、更に、LANを介してエージェント40と情報の受け渡しを行う。具体的には、Webサーバ30は、LANを介してエージェント40からジャンル一覧情報及びキーワード一覧情報を受け取り、受け取ったジャンル一覧情報及びキーワード一覧情報をHTML形式に埋め込み、画面制御情報を生成する。Webサーバ30は、インターネット20を介して、生成した画面制御情報をクライアント10へ送信する。また、Webサーバ30は、クライアント10から、プロファイル、ジャンル、キーワードなどを含む入力情報を受信する。一例として、Webサーバ30は、プロファイルとして「男性/20〜30代/車」、ジャンルとして「スポーツ」、キーワードとして「プロ野球/大リーグ」を受信する。Webサーバ30は、LANを介して、受信した入力情報をエージェント40へ出力する。

3.エージェント40
ここでは、エージェント40の構成について説明する。エージェント40は、クライアント10からの要求に基づき、クライアントに配信する仮想コンテンツの構成を示すコンテンツ構成表を生成し、生成したコンテンツ構成表を仮想コンテンツ出力サーバ60へ出力する装置である。

Webサーバ入出力部401は、LAN接続ユニットを含み、LANを介してWebサーバ30と情報制御部402との間で情報の受け渡しを行う。具体的に、Webサーバ入出力部401は、情報制御部402からジャンル一覧情報及びキーワード一覧情報を受け取り、受け取ったジャンル一覧情報及びキーワード一覧情報をWebサーバ30へ出力する。また、Webサーバ入出力部401は、Webサーバ30から、プロファイル、ジャンル、キーワードを含む入力情報を受け取り、受け取った入力情報を情報制御部402へ出力する。入力情報の一例は、プロファイルとして「男性/20〜30代/車」、ジャンルとして「スポーツ」、キーワードとして「プロ野球/大リーグ」である。

(2)情報制御部402
情報制御部402は、Webサーバ入出力部401及びDBサーバ入出力部403から情報を受け取り、受け取った情報を識別して情報に応じた処理を行う。具体的には、情報制御部402は、DBサーバ入出力部403からジャンル一覧情報及びキーワード一覧情報を受け取り、受け取ったジャンル一覧情報及びキーワード一覧情報をWebサーバ入出力部401へ出力する。また、情報制御部402は、Webサーバ入出力部401から入力情報を受け取り、受け取った入力情報をDBサーバ入出力部403へ出力する。また、情報制御部402は、DBサーバ入出力部403からコンテンツID及びフレーム番号の組を複数個受け取り、受け取った複数個のコンテンツID及びフレーム番号の組をコンテンツ構成表生成部404へ出力する。なお、コンテンツID及びフレーム番号の組は、シーンの位置を特定する情報であり、コンテンツ構成表の生成に用いられる。コンテンツ構成表については後述する。

(3)DBサーバ入出力部403
DBサーバ入出力部403は、LAN接続ユニットを含み、LANを介してDBサーバ50と情報制御部402との間で情報の受け渡しを行う。具体的には、DBサーバ入出力部403は、DBサーバ50が出力するジャンル一覧情報及びキーワード一覧情報を受け取り、受け取ったジャンル一覧情報及びキーワード一覧情報を情報制御部402へ出力する。また、DBサーバ入出力部403は、DBサーバ50が出力するコンテンツID及びフレーム番号の組を受け取り、受け取ったコンテンツID及びフレーム番号の組を情報制御部402へ出力する。また、DBサーバ入出力部403は、情報制御部402から入力情報を受け取り、受け取った入力情報から検索情報を生成し、生成した検索情報をDBサーバ50へ出力する。具体例として、DBサーバ入出力部403は、プロファイルが「男性/20〜30代/車」、ジャンルが「スポーツ」、キーワードが「プロ野球/大リーグ」である入力情報を受け取ると、プロファイル「男性/20〜30代/車」に基づき、CM情報を検索することを示すコマンドを付加し、更に、ジャンル「スポーツ」及びキーワード「プロ野球/大リーグ」に基づき番組情報を検索することを示すコマンドを付加して検索情報を生成する。番組情報及びCM情報については後述する。

(4)コンテンツ構成表生成部404
コンテンツ構成表生成部404は、マイクロプロセッサ、RAMなどから構成される。コンテンツ構成表生成部404は、情報制御部402からコンテンツIDとフレーム番号との組を複数個受け取り、以下に示す様にしてコンテンツ構成表を生成する。コンテンツ構成表生成部404は、受け取った複数個のコンテンツIDから、「Program」という文字列を含むコンテンツIDを1個選択して、当該コンテンツIDを書き出す。続いて、当該コンテンツIDに対応するフレーム番号から、開始フレーム番号を前記コンテンツIDに続けて書く。続いて当該フレーム番号から、終了フレーム番号を前記開始フレーム番号に続けて書書く。次に、コンテンツ構成表生成部404は、残りの1個以上のコンテンツIDから、「CM」という文字列を含むコンテンツIDを1個選択して、同様にして、当該コンテンツIDと対応する開始フレーム番号と終了フレーム番号との組を、先に書き出したコンテンツIDと開始フレーム番号と終了フレーム番号との組に続けて書く。次に、コンテンツ構成表生成部404は、残りの1個以上のコンテンツIDから、「Program」という文字列を含むコンテンツIDを1個選択して、当該コンテンツIDと対応する開始フレーム番号と終了フレーム番号との組を先に書き出した2組に続けて書く。この様に、受け取った全てのコンテンツIDと開始フレーム番号と終了フレーム番号との組について、コンテンツIDに「Program」を含むものと「CM」を含むものとを交互に書き出していく。全てのコンテンツIDと開始フレーム番号と終了フレーム番号との組を書き出したら、先頭の組から順に再生番号を付す。ここで、コンテンツ構成表生成部404が生成するコンテンツ構成表の例を図7に示す。同図のコンテンツ構成表410は、6個のコンテンツID、開始フレーム番号及び終了フレーム番号の組から構成される。コンテンツ構成表生成部404は、生成したコンテンツ構成表410をコンテンツ構成表出力部405へ出力する。

コンテンツ構成表出力部405は、LAN接続ユニットを含み、コンテンツ構成表生成部404からコンテンツ構成表を受け取り、受け取ったコンテンツ構成表をLANを介して仮想コンテンツ出力サーバ60へ出力する。
4.DBサーバ50
ここでは、DBサーバ50の構成について説明する。DBサーバ50は、クライアントからの要求に応じてユーザが希望する番組及びユーザのプロファイルに応じたCMから構成される仮想コンテンツを生成する為に必要な情報を記憶している装置である。

各番組シーンは、クライアントからの要求に応じた番組シーンを選択する為の情報であるジャンル及びキーワードをそれぞれ1個ずつ有する。番組シーンが有するジャンルは、「ニュース」、「スポーツ」、「音楽番組」、「映画」、「ドラマ」、「バラエティー」、「ドキュメンタリー」、「教育」、「料理番組」、「旅番組」、「ショッピング」及び「情報番組」の内の何れかである。キーワードは、各ジャンルの詳細な分類である。具体例を示すと、「スポーツ」のジャンルには、「プロ野球」、「メジャーリーグ」などのキーワードが含まれ、「料理番組」のジャンルには、「料理教室(基本の和食)」、「飲食店」などのキーワードが含まれる。番組シーンは、上記の様なジャンルに対応した複数のキーワードの内1つを含む。これらを、データベース化したものが番組検索情報である。番組検索情報の例として、図9に示す番組検索情報515は、コンテンツIDが「Program01.mp4」、フレーム番号が「1〜18000」、ジャンルが「スポーツ」、キーワードが「プロ野球」である。コンテンツIDは、仮想コンテンツ出力サーバ60に記憶されている複数のコンテンツの内、当該コンテンツを一意に識別するための記号である。番組を識別するコンテンツIDは「Program」で始まる。フレーム番号は、当該番組シーンに含まれる複数のフレームの内、最初のフレームのコンテンツの先頭から数えたフレーム番号と最後のフレームのコンテンツの先頭から数えたフレーム番号とにより記述される。ジャンル及びキーワードは前述の通りである。

各CMシーンは、ユーザの属性を示すクライアントからの要求に応じて、ユーザの属性に適したCMシーンを選択する為の情報を有する。詳しくは、各CMシーンは、配信に適したユーザの性別、配信に適したユーザの年齢及び配信に適したユーザの趣味をそれぞれ1個ずつ有する。CMシーンが有する性別は「男性」及び「女性」の何れかである。年齢は、「〜10代」、「20〜30代」、「40〜50代」及び「60代〜」の内の何れかである。また、趣味は、「車」、「映画・イベント」、「フード・お酒」、「音楽」、「インターネット」及び「ショッピング」の内の何れかである。これらをデータベース化したものがCM検索情報である。CM検索情報の例として、図10に示すCM検索情報524は、コンテンツIDが、「CM01.mp4」、フレーム番号が「1〜300」、性別が「男性」、年齢が「20〜30代」、趣味が「車」である。コンテンツIDは、仮想コンテンツ出力サーバ60に記憶されている複数のコンテンツの内、当該コンテンツを一意に識別するための記号である。CMを識別するコンテンツIDは「CM」で始まる。フレーム番号は、当該CMシーンに含まれる複数のフレームの内、最初のフレームのコンテンツの先頭から数えたフレーム番号と最後のフレームのコンテンツの先頭から数えたフレーム番号とにより記述される。性別、年齢及び趣味は前述の通りである。

1.全体の動作
ここでは、仮想コンテンツ配信システム1の動作について説明する。
図17及び図18に示すフローチャートは、仮想コンテンツ配信システム1全体の動作を示すフローチャートである。

2.検索処理の動作
ここでは、図19及び図20に示すフローチャートを用いて、DBサーバ50における検索処理の動作について説明する。なお、ここで説明する動作は図17に示したフローチャートのステップS111の詳細である。

クエリー部502の検索情報受付部521は、受信した検索情報からプロファイル情報を取得し(ステップS151)、プロファイル情報を検索部522へ出力する。検索部は、プロファイル情報から性別を読む(ステップS152)。検索部522は、DB部501のCMテーブル512の性別欄を読み、プロファイル情報の性別と合致するCM情報のみを抽出する(ステップS153)。次に、検索部522は、プロファイル情報から年齢を読みと共に(ステップS154)、抽出した全てのCM情報の年齢欄を読み、プロファイル情報の年齢に合致するCM情報のみを選択し、合致しないCM情報を破棄する(ステップS155)。次に、検索部522は、プロファイル情報から趣味を読むと共に(ステップS156)、先程選択された全てのCM情報の趣味欄を読み、プロファイル情報の趣味に合致するCM情報のみを選択し、合致しないCM情報を破棄する(ステップS157)。この様にして選択されたCM情報を記憶する(ステップS158)。

エージェント40のDBサーバ入出力部403は、DBサーバ50から受信したコンテンツIDとフレーム番号との組を情報制御部402を介してコンテンツ構成表生成部404へ出力する。

4.仮想コンテンツ生成処理の動作

仮想コンテンツ出力サーバ60のコンテンツ構成表受付部503は受信したコンテンツ構成表をコンテンツ構成表解釈部604へ出力する。コンテンツ構成表解釈部604は、受け取ったコンテンツ構成表をコンテンツ構成表記憶部606に書き込み、コンテンツ構成表記憶部606は、コンテンツ構成表を記憶する。コンテンツ構成表解釈部604は、コンテンツ構成表記憶部606が記憶しているコンテンツ構成表に対応する全てのコンテンツのヘッダ情報をコンテンツ記憶部601から読み出す。コンテンツ構成表解釈部604は、読み出したヘッダ情報の圧縮形式と画面サイズとについて、全てのコンテンツの圧縮形式が同じか否か、及び全てのコンテンツについて画面サイズが同じか否かを判断することにより、組み合わせが適切であるか否か判断する(ステップS301)。コンテンツ構成表の組み合わせが適切でない場合(ステップS302でNO)、コンテンツ構成表解釈部604は。警告信号を生成し、生成した警告信号を警告部605へ出力する(ステップS303)。コンテンツ構成表の組み合わせが適切である場合(ステップS302でYES)、コンテンツ情報読出部607は、コンテンツ記憶部601が記憶しているコンテンツのコンテンツ情報の内、コンテンツ構成表に指定される番組シーンとCMシーンとを読み出す(ステップS304)。

以上説明した様に、本発明に係る第1の実施の形態である仮想コンテンツ配信システム1及び第2に実施の形態である仮想コンテンツ配信システム2は、ユーザの指定したジャンル及びキーワードを基に、データベースを検索し、キーワードに一致したシーンを読み出して、言わば、「ユーザ専用番組」を配信するサービスシステムである。また、仮想コンテンツ配信システム1は、上記の「ユーザ専用番組」に、ユーザの性別、年齢などの属性に応じて、ユーザ毎に異なるCMを挿入したコンテンツを配信する。
第1の実施の形態である仮想コンテンツ配信システム1は、仮想コンテンツ出力サーバ60が、元のコンテンツファイルの一部分を読み出して、新たに生成した仮想コンテンツヘッダ情報と仮想コンテンツ付加情報と共にクライアント10に送信することにより、クライアント10は、あたかも新たに生成されたコンテンツファイルが存在しているかのように、コンテンツをダウンロードすることが出来る。
第2の実施の形態である仮想コンテンツ配信システム2は、仮想コンテンツ出力サーバ60aが、元のコンテンツファイルの一部分を読み出し、1フレーム毎に、新たに生成した仮想コンテンツ送出タイミング情報に基づきクライアント10aに送信することにより、仮想コンテンツ出力サーバ60aは、あたかも新たに生成したコンテンツファイルが存在しているかのように、コンテンツをストリーミング配信することができる。

<その他の変形例>
なお、本発明を上記実施の形態に基づいて説明してきたが、本発明は、上記実施の形態に限定されず、以下の様な場合も本発明に含まれる。

また、前記プログラム又は前記デジタル信号を前記記録媒体に記録して移送することにより、又は、前記プログラム又は前記デジタル信号をネットワーク等を経由して移送することにより、独立した他のコンピュータシステムにより実施するとしてもよい。
