【0001】
なお、図5(d)中のAは図5(a)中のAに対応し、図5(e)中のBは図5(b)中のBに対応し、図5(f)中のCは図5(c)中のCに対応している。
【0033】
なお、図5(g)中のAは図5(a)中のAに対応し、図5(h)中のBは図5(b)中のBに対応し、図5(j)中のCは図5(c)中のCに対応している。
【0036】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a signal switching device that switches and outputs a reception signal output from a tuner and a playback signal output from a playback device and / or recording / playback means.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In a receiving apparatus such as a television receiver, a reception signal received by a tuner is displayed on a monitor screen of the receiver. In such a receiving apparatus, for example, when the reception level of the received signal decreases due to a radio wave condition or a failure on the broadcasting station side, and the received signal stops in the worst case, the received signal can be displayed. Since it cannot be performed, a blue back signal is output, and a so-called blue back image is displayed.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
When the blue screen is displayed on the monitor screen, only the blue color image is displayed. For example, when the monitor is installed in a public place, it is useful for the monitor. It is not imaged, and neither the facility where the monitor is installed nor the person who obtains information from the monitor cannot effectively use it as a monitor.
[0004]
In view of the above, an object of the present invention is to enable effective use of a monitor even when the reception level of a received signal is lowered and it becomes difficult to display an image on a monitor screen.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The signal switching device of the present invention interrupts the image on the monitor screen by causing the playback signal of the playback device or the playback signal of the recording / playback means to be on the monitor screen even when the reception level of the received signal is lowered. It is always displayed without letting
In order to perform the above operation, the signal switching device of the present invention includes a reception signal input terminal for inputting a reception signal via a tuner, a reproduction signal input terminal for inputting a reproduction signal from the reproduction device, and recording / reproducing means. The received signal input terminal is switched with priority over the reproduction signal input terminal and the recording / reproducing means. By switching the received signal input terminal with priority, the received signal is displayed on the monitor screen while the received signal is input to the received signal input terminal, and the received signal is input to the received signal input terminal. If the signal level of the received signal is not high or the signal level of the received signal is reduced, the playback signal of the playback device or recording / playback means can be displayed on the monitor screen, so that an image can always be displayed on the monitor screen.
[0006]
One aspect of the signal switching device of the present invention includes a reception signal input terminal for inputting a reception signal via a tuner, a reproduction signal input terminal for inputting a reproduction signal from the reproduction device, and a recording / reproducing unit, When the signal level of the received signal decreases, the signal is switched to the reproduction signal input terminal or recording / reproducing means, and the reproduction signal is output. By this switching, the priority of the reception signal input terminal is switched.
[0007]
In addition, the signal switching device of the present invention can input a reproduction signal from the reproduction device in various modes. The first mode for the playback apparatus is to cause the playback apparatus or recording / playback means to select the playback content in accordance with the duration of the signal level drop state and output the selected playback signal. According to the first aspect, for example, the reproduction content for a short time can be displayed first, and the reproduction content for a long time can be displayed when the decrease in the level of the received signal is prolonged.
[0008]
According to a second aspect of the playback device, the playback device is caused to select the playback content according to the time zone in which the signal level has dropped, and the selected playback signal is output. According to the second aspect, when the age group, gender, and occupation type of the monitor user are different depending on the time zone, the monitor is effectively utilized by selecting the reproduction content suitable for many users. be able to.
[0009]
According to another aspect of the signal switching device of the present invention, a reception signal input terminal for inputting a reception signal via a tuner, a reproduction signal input terminal for inputting a reproduction signal from the reproduction device, and recording the reception signal via the tuner A recording / reproducing signal input terminal for inputting a recording / reproducing signal from a primary recording / reproducing apparatus that outputs the recording / reproducing signal with a predetermined time delay, and a recording / reproducing means. Within a specified time, switch to the primary recording / playback signal input terminal to output the primary recording / playback signal, and switch to the playback signal input terminal or recording / playback means after a predetermined time has elapsed since the signal level decreased. Output a playback signal. By this switching, the priority of the reception signal input terminal is switched. According to this aspect, if the signal level is lowered or stopped for a short time within the delay time, the monitor display can be performed by the received signal.
[0010]
Further, the signal switching device of the present invention can return to the reception signal input terminal in various modes when the decrease or stop of the signal level of the reception signal is recovered and the reception signal is restored.
The first mode for returning to the reception signal input terminal is a mode for immediately switching to the reception signal input terminal and outputting the reception signal when the signal level of the reception signal is restored, and the second mode is the signal of the reception signal. When the level returns, the end of the reproduction signal or a marker signal attached to the reproduction signal is detected, and at this time, the signal is switched to the reception signal input terminal and the reception signal is output. According to this aspect, after displaying the reproduction content on the monitor without interruption, the display by the received signal can be resumed.
[0011]
In the third mode of returning to the reception signal input terminal, when the signal level of the reception signal is restored, the reception signal is output by switching to the reception signal input terminal when a preset time such as a fixed time is reached. According to this aspect, the display by the received signal can be reproduced from a preset time such as a fixed time, and the broadcast content can be displayed from the beginning.
[0012]
The reproduction signal reproduced by the reproduction device applied to the signal switching device of the present invention can include advertisement information. When the reproduction signal is switched to the reproduction signal input terminal, the advertisement information can be displayed on the monitor.
Further, the signal switching device may be configured such that both the tuner and the playback device or any one of the devices is built in, in addition to the configuration in which the tuner and the playback device are connected as separate devices by wire or wirelessly.
[0013]
Further, the data recorded in the recording / reproducing means can be fixed by preliminarily storing the data, in addition to being able to update the data by downloading via the network.
Furthermore, the signal switching device of the present invention may be configured to be incorporated in a set top box, a monitor image receiving device, or a recording device.
[0014]
