Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a step support structure for an occupant to get on and off a driver seat of a cab such as a vehicle, particularly a truck.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, as this type of support structure, a step cover having a shelf portion is attached to a floor side plate of a truck cab, and the step is placed on the floor side via the first and second brackets with a gap on the shelf portion. A vehicle step mounting structure mounted on a plate is disclosed (Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 5-46586). In this step mounting structure, a rib that protrudes toward the step is provided at a position facing the periphery of the step lower surface of the shelf.
In the vehicle step mounting structure configured as described above, even if the lower surface of the step comes into contact with the upper surface of the rib, the step cover is hardly damaged, and the abrasion powder generated by the contact is very small. So it does not spoil the appearance.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the conventional vehicle step mounting structure disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 5-46586, when a passenger rides on a step with a heavy load or a heavy passenger rides on a step, the vehicle width is increased in the step. Since a load directed obliquely downward on the center side in the direction acts, and a bending moment based on the load acts on the first and second brackets suspended from the floor side plate, the first and second brackets may bend. was there. For this reason, there is a case where a stay formed of a steel pipe is stretched between the floor panel of the cab and the second bracket to ensure predetermined rigidity and strength.
An object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle step support structure that can ensure a predetermined rigidity and strength of the step support portion and reduce the vehicle weight with a slight increase in processing man-hours without using a stay. is there.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In the invention according to claim 1, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 4, the rear portion of the step 12 provided on the side of the cab 11 of the vehicle 10 is supported by the rear step support 13b, and the outer edge of the rear step support. This is an improvement of the vehicle step support structure in which the front splash board 18 attached to the inner edge and having the upper edge fixed to the lower surface of the floor panel 14a of the cab 11 is provided in front of the front wheel 17 in the vehicle width direction.
The characteristic configuration is that the front splash board 18 is formed with a linear bead 18d inclined downward toward the outer side in the vehicle width direction, the inner end of the bead is located at the upper edge of the board 18 and the outer end of the bead Is located on the outer edge of the board 18 near the step 12.
[0005]
In the vehicle step support structure described in claim 1, when the occupant gets on the step 12 with a heavy load or the heavy occupant gets on the step 12, the step 12 is inclined diagonally toward the center in the vehicle width direction. Although a downward load F acts and a bending moment M based on the load F acts on the rear step support 13b, the bead 18d formed on the front splash board 18 functions as a tension rod that can withstand the bending moment M. Therefore, the rear step support 13b and the front splash board 18 do not bend.
[0006]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 4, a step 12 is provided on the side of the cab 11 of the cab-over track 10, and this step 12 is supported by a step support 13. As shown in detail in FIG. 3, the step support 13 includes a front step support 13 a that supports the front portion of the step 12 and has an upper edge fixed to the floor 14, and a rear portion of the step 12 that supports the rear portion and the upper edge of the floor 14. And a rear step support 13b fixed to the head. As shown in detail in FIG. 1, the floor 14 includes a floor panel 14a, a cylindrical side locker 14b that supports the side edges of the floor panel and extends in the track traveling direction, and an intermediate between the floor panel 14a. And a floor frame 14c having a reverse-hat-shaped cross section provided so as to extend in the traveling direction of the track. The upper edge of the front step support 13a and the upper edge of the rear step support 13b are fixed to the outer surface of the side rocker 14b. The outer surface of the step support 13 is covered with a synthetic resin step cover 16 (FIGS. 1 to 3).
[0007]
On the other hand, a front splash board 18 is provided in front of the front wheel 17 (FIG. 4) so as to extend in the vehicle width direction (FIGS. 1 to 3). As shown in detail in FIG. 1, the board 18 includes a board body 18a extending in the vehicle width direction, an outer flange 18b provided on the outer edge of the board body, and an upper flange 18c provided on the upper edge of the board body 18a. And have. The outer edge of the board 18, that is, the outer flange 18b, is attached to the inner edge of the rear step support 13b by bolts and nuts (not shown) (FIGS. 1 and 2). The upper edge of the board 18, that is, the upper flange 18c is fixed to the lower surface of the floor panel 14a (FIG. 1). Further, the board body 18a is formed with a bead 18d that is inclined downward toward the outside in the vehicle width direction (FIGS. 1 to 3). The inner end of the bead 18d is positioned at the upper edge of the board body 18a, and the outer end of the bead 18d is positioned at the outer edge of the board body 18a near the step 12 (FIG. 1).
[0008]
In the step support structure configured as described above, when the occupant gets on the step 12 with a heavy load, or when a heavy occupant gets on the step 12, a load directed to the step 12 obliquely downward on the center side in the vehicle width direction. F (FIG. 1) acts and a bending moment M based on the load F acts on the rear step support 13b, but the bead 18d formed on the front splash board 18 functions as a tension rod that can withstand the bending moment M. Therefore, the rear step support 13b and the front splash board 18 do not bend. As a result, the step support portion has a predetermined rigidity and strength with a slight increase in processing man-hours such as forming the bead 18d on the front splash board 18 without hanging a stay between the floor panel 14a and the rear step support 13b. Can be secured.
In this embodiment, a truck is used as the vehicle. However, another vehicle may be used as long as it has a step for passengers to get on and off the driver's seat of the cab.
[0009]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the front splash board is formed with the bead that is inclined downward toward the outer side in the vehicle width direction, the inner end of the bead is located at the upper edge of the board, and the outer end of the bead. Is positioned at the board outer edge in the vicinity of the step, so that even if a load is applied to the step diagonally downward on the center side in the vehicle width direction and a bending moment based on the load is applied to the rear step support, the bead Functions as a tension rod that can withstand the bending moment, and the rear step support and front splashboard do not bend. As a result, the present invention forms beads on the front splash board without increasing the number of parts as compared with the conventional vehicle step mounting structure in which stays need to be passed between the floor panel and the rear step support. With such a slight increase in processing man-hours, predetermined rigidity and strength can be ensured in the step support portion, and the vehicle weight can be reduced.
